Chapter 39 The Grief of Shenna

The next day....

Shenna began to open her eyes, Shenna holding her forehead which was still stuck in a small towel.

Suddenly the door opened, Ken brought a tray filled with porridge and water.

"It's eating the porridge first" exclaimed Ken.

Shenna woke up from her sleep. "I'm not hungry, I'm going to take a shower first."

A little while later, Shenna came out of the bathroom with a change of clothes.

"Where are you going?" ask Ken.

"I want to work."

Ken pulled up Shenna's arm and noticed Shenna's still-weak face.

"You're still sick, why is it in your brain only work, work, and work, while your health condition you don't think about" Ken said.

Shenna let go of Ken's hand. "Today I want to meet with my clients, and want to apologize for what happened" Shenna said.

"That's my company Ken, so I'll take care of it myself" said Shenna.

"I told you to stay home and not go anywhere!" jolt Ken.

Ken immediately snatched his suit and left Shenna slamming the room door. Shenna sat at the end of the bed, only this time did Shenna see Ken's face so incredibly emotional like that.

Shenna glanced at the tray that Ken had been carrying, slowly eating the porridge. Not feeling Shenna's tears dripping on their own, Shenna ate the porridge with a small sob.

Really he does not believe that the company he has built from zero, has certainly gone bankrupt.

It didn't take long, Ken arrived at his office. Tora immediately followed his boss by carrying a file in his hand.

"How, have you found out which company wants to destroy Shenna's company?" ask Ken.

"Yesterday I had lobbied one of the shareholders in Miss Shenna's company, I was informed that the company that promised profits to double was xxx company, xxx company, but after I tracked and found out about the company, it turned out to be a passive company. The company is a company owned by Mr. Karsa Adipura who is in Singapore but unfortunately the company is no longer active even now it has switched ownership" said Tora.

Ken's speechless. "That means this person deliberately lures double profits so that shareholders in Shenna company are tempted without them knowing, they have been cheated," Ken exclaimed.

"Yes, sir, and I'm also sure that the one who has done all this is Mr. Karsa's adopted son, Romi Adipura, who is none other than Miss Shenna's ex-boyfriend."

Ken went back to looking at the file given by Tora. "Bastard you're Romi, it turns out you have the evil intentions behind all this" Ken growled.

Ken fiddled with his phone and sent Shenna a message to get Shenna to come to his company to listen to everything.

Shenna who was daydreaming, seemed to frown when she got a message from Ken.

"I thought I should take a break, but now he just told me to come to his company, you weird guy" Shenna grumbled.

Shenna picked up her bag and car keys and drove to Ken's company.

Arriving at Ken's company, Tora was already waiting for Shenna's arrival.

"Let's go with me, Miss."

Tora took Shenna to the meeting room. "Please come in, Miss."

Ken got up from his seat and stood in front. Ken began to tell her what Tora had found made Shenna and the shareholders widen their eyes in disbelief.

"Unfortunately, we have decided to cooperate with Bu Shenna company for the sake of passive companies that actually do not exist" continued another entrepreneur.

"How are you, do you still want to cooperate with the passive company or re-cooperate with Shenna's company?" exclaim Ken.

Instantly the meeting room became boisterous because they were fooled by the lure of the benefits provided.

"It looks like we're going to re-cooperate with Ms. Shenna's company, please forgive us Mom for believing in their promises."

All the businessmen apologized to Shenna, but in contrast to Shenna who was still silent digesting Ken's words.

Ken ended the meeting and all shareholders decided to return to Shenna's company. The meeting room was quiet just Shenna and Ken alone, slowly Ken approached Shenna.

"Now you know, what is the purpose of approaching you? he wants to destroy your company, Shenna," exclaimed Ken.

Shenna looked at Ken. "No, I can't believe that Romi would do all this to me, he loves me so much" Shenna said.

"You've been so blinded by Shenna's love, that you can't tell which ones are sincere and which ones are just pretend."

Shenna stood up and stared intently at Ken. "Romi loved me a lot in the past, so I can't believe she did all this!" shenna jolted with teary eyes.

"Past and present it's different Shenna, we don't know people's hearts."

Shenna turned her body and was about to walk out of the meeting room but Ken held her back.

"Where are you going, you?"

"Take it off, I want to meet Romi and ask him about all this. But if it wasn't Romi, I'd make sure right now I'd be suing for your divorce!" snapped Shenna.

Shenna immediately ran away leaving Ken, Shenna's tears dripping down on their own but Shenna quickly wiped them off. This time he wanted to quickly meet with Romi and ask about the truth of everything.
