Hey Indigo Girl (The Series) TAMAAAAAT!!!!
13. The past of Hendra

"Dit, you are brave" said Hendra as he climbed the stairs with Radit.

"Why?"

"She wants to live in this house. Good, good, but... Serem," whispered Hendra still following Radit's steps up the stairs.

Radit was stunned, he knew that Hendra's words had a point. But Radit also knew that he would not have to live in that house. Because there was no other house around that they could occupy. Radit is also unlikely to invite Aretha to live in a mes place, where the place is mostly inhabited by men, and is a place that is not too comfortable. Similar to jasmine boarding costs only 500 thousand rupiah per month.

"Eat him, I'm making a study. If there really is such a creature, then at least it can be more respectful to each other, right?" ask Radit back.

"Well, hopefully this event can run smoothly and make you safer here," said Hendra.

"Lo don't kidnap me! " said Radit.

"Haha. Yes Sorry."

They arrived at the second floor. The young men swept their eyes around. Searching for the source of the noise that sounded loud from downstairs. However, the atmosphere was silent. As if nothing is suspicious. Radit and Hendra looked at each other. The eyes of the two showed various statements that could only be read from sight.

Radit went straight to the door of the main room. It was as if he would find out that the voice had come from there. Seeing Radit move, Hendra just noticed him and looked around them as well. Hendra knows that something is wrong with this house. Especially considering that Areta is a sensitive person with the existence of subtle creatures around her. Because Hendra has known this several times directly.

It all started from Hendra's complaint when he moved to the boarding house that was previously occupied. Hendra and Radit were a force when they got into their company. Especially plus their age is not much different. Hendra got a cheap boarding house and is located not far from the office.

________

Flashbacks.

"Dit, I guess around here there's no man's boarding place, huh? I seem to be looking for a place to go. After all, next Monday we have started work," said Hendra.

Radit and Hendra were sitting in a coffee shop in front of the office. They had just been called in for an interview at the company.

"Hem, don't know, Hen. Try after this we look around here. Who knows if there is."

"Will you want to meet me? Don't you want to go to Aretha's house?" asked Hendra while sipping his black coffee.

"Not what. Aretha must have understood. You were told to stay with me I didn't want to. I was home alone too."

At that time Radit was not married to Aretha and still living in his own home. So it would be natural if Radit offered Hendra to stay at his house while not getting a place to stay. It's just that Hendra doesn't seem to want to bother Radit and feels bad if he has to ride in his old friend's house. Radit and Hendra have known each other since college, and they met again in Radit's hometown. That means Hendra is an overseas person.

"No, ah, Dit. I don't feel good if I have to stay at your house. It's been too much ngerepotin lo so far," said Hendra.

"Curtain, lebay! Just like who you are."

They had finished their coffee and were now beginning to find a place to stay for Hendra. Hendra deliberately looking for a boarding place close to the office, because he does not yet have a private vehicle, so he can make travel costs before getting the first salary. The money his parents gave him was just a pasan. Just enough to eat three meals a day for the next month. And so, he had to save.

They go down the road with slow cars. Intentionally to be able to see if there is information about boarding places around.

Finally, there is a house in the classic style. Like a house in the Dutch colonial era. In front of the house was the inscription 'Receive male boarding". Radit stopped the vehicle and stopped right in front of the gate of the house.

"You try here or .... " Radit's sentence has not been finished, but Hendra immediately chimed in with a nod. "OK on."

They both got out of the car and walked inside. The courtyard of the house was quite spacious with two Rambutan trees on its left right.

The already rusted gate creaked as soon as they pushed inside. Slowly the two young men entered while watching the surroundings. Several times Radit pressed his nape but he did not think badly even though in his mind there was something that made him uncomfortable following set foot in the yard of the house.

As soon as he got to the door, Hendra pressed the bell. The sound of music inside was heard all the way to the terrace. Before long came out a middle-aged woman with a socialite style. Clothing with a famous brand looks elegant attached to his body. Coupled with branded bags that cost tens of millions of rupiah.

"Who's looking, huh?" ask the woman kindly.

"Ma - Sorry, sa-I saw the board in front. Is it right here to accept a male boarding house?" asked Hendra a little nervously.

"Oh yes, it is true. Please come in" said the woman, inviting the two to sit in the living room.

Radit continued to pay attention to the inside of this house, which was impressed classic with the old furniture in accordance with the model of this house as well. It seems like the homeowner is an ancient person who prefers to keep the original form of this house, amid the incessant home renovation services that have been rampant in recent years.

"So you guys wanna go out here?" ask the woman who allegedly is the owner of the house.

"Oh, just me, Auntie. He just drove me to look for a boarding house. It just so happened that we had an office" explained Hendra.

"Oh so. Okay, this hostel is still empty. Because yesterday the hostesses here moved. Some are finished college, some are moving jobs, some are moving to rented houses. You can choose which room. Oh yes, I am Melani. Call me Aunt Melan, who are you?"

"I'm Hendra, aunt. Oh so I've just been boarding here? But, sorry, aunt lives here or.... "

"I only come here once every two weeks. But my son lives here. They're on the second floor. So if you need anything you can tell them. For monthly rent only 400 thousand. Bathroom outside, there is a kitchen that you can use as well. How's it? Wanna?" ask Aunt Melan.

"400 grand, Auntie?" asked Hendra with sparkling eyes.

"Yes. Why?"

"Well, I want to! Can I see her room now?" ask her.

"Bby dong. Come on," take Aunt Melan.

Radit frowned, then held Hendra's hand. "Seriously? It's so cheap! Don't don't do anything, Hen!" whisky Radit.

"There's what ah! I'm the one who wants to stay here. Why are you so noisy, Dit!" hatch Hendra then back to walk after aunt Melani.

The first night at the hostel all went well. Until midnight arrives. Hendra woke up feeling thirsty. He finally came out of the room into the kitchen. The atmosphere certainly felt quiet, but faintly he heard there was a TV sound on the second floor.

"Oh, Aunt Melan's son apparently likes to stay up late too" murmured Hendra. He took a glass and opened the refrigerator. But from the tip of the tail of the eye, he suddenly felt someone standing on the stairs. Hendra turned his head, and found a woman standing there.

"Oh, are you aunt Melan's son?" ask Hendra stale.

The woman nodded then walked past Hendra. He also wanted to get a glass. Maybe he was just like Hendra, thirsty in the middle of the night. "I'm Hendra. From today I'll be here too."

"Yes, I know. Just call me Tetu."

Hendra was a little uncomfortable seeing the woman's reaction. It seemed that the young man seemed to be lazily responding to Hendra. Hendra finally decided to go back to his room. When he was about to close his eyes, Hendra continued to remember the woman.

"But how is she the same age as Aunt Melan, huh? Is he really Aunt Melan's son?"

But Hendra just did not want to take a headache and decided to go back to sleep.

The next day Hendra woke up with the laughter of several women. She blinked her eyes while making sure the voice was real, not from her dreams.

"In the morning it was crowded," said Hendra then moved out of bed and immediately took a towel. His habit after waking up is to take a shower especially if he has to perform dawn prayers. He's a little late because it's already 05:30. And so Hendra hurried.

As soon as the door opened, two young women were in the kitchen making food. Hendra also approached because he still had to go to the bathroom located near the kitchen.

"Good morning" said Hendra.

"Eh, morning. Oh you're the one who's boarding here, huh? Mama said last night. I'm Lian, this is my sister Mona."

"I'm Hendra. I think the son of aunty boys, it turns out all girls. Hehe. Oh yeah, so how is it not visible? Where the hell is he?" ask Hendra.

The two girls looked at each other. Their faces looked pale yet Lian immediately pulled both corners of her lips. "Oh, go again. So it's just the two of us at home" Lian said. But Mona elbowed Lian while glaring. Both are fighting with sign language.

"Oh yeah, if so, I take a shower first. Pray at dawn" said Hendra.

"Oh yes."

It is Sunday, the day where Hendra can relax before doing the work tomorrow. Today she decided to go shopping for her daily needs. Like buying toiletries and also a variety of instant noodles in order to reduce the ration of eating out during her stay in the boarding houses. But before going shopping to the supermarket, Hendra decided to stop by at a food stall located not far from the house. He had to fill his stomach first before leaving. Because last night he did not eat at all due to being too tired to finally sleep faster than usual.

"Green rice with tempe, Ma'am," clever Hendra at the owner of the food stall.

"OKAY. Wait a minute, Mas."

The rice stalls are not too crowded there are only about 3 people who are having breakfast there including Hendra.

"Please. What do you want to drink?" ask the owner of the food stall.

"White water, Ma'am."

"OKAY. New guy, huh? Where's the host?" ask the woman. Hendra was a little surprised by the question from the owner of the stall he immediately saw his appearance which was indeed Ala.

'Do I look like an overseas person, huh? ' murmured Hendra in the heart.

"Yes, Mother. I just stayed at the boarding house over there last night. In the place of aunt Melani," explained Hendra.

Suddenly the owner of the stall immediately looked at Hendra seriously Even his forehead wrinkled until He immediately stopped his activity and like thinking of something.

"Mas lives in that house?" tannya

"Yes, why, Mother?"

"Oh, it's okay."

Hendra was confused because the stall owner's facial expression seemed unusual, like something was being hidden by the woman.

After breakfast, Hendra immediately went to the supermarket by driving a public vehicle. He did not do much preparation to move to the boarding house. Although from home he had brought some clothes but he had not brought some items and had to buy them here.

On the way home Hendra gets a call from Radit. He actually has arrived near the house just a walk to get to kosan and aunt Melan.

"Gue has gone to Teteh. Sorry, hunt. You've been waiting for Aretha" Radit said.

"Oh Okay. It's okay, Dit. Thanks a lot, yeah."

"Look out, Hen. Oh yeah, is that aunt Melani? I don't think he's a aunt's son, do you?" ask Radit.

"don't know. I think so too. This morning I met my aunt Melan's children named Lian and Mona. But they said Teteh had left this morning. I haven't had a chance to talk to them much longer because I was in a hurry to wake up late."

"Yes already. But the night you stayed with you was safe, wasn't it, Hen?" ask Radit.

"Yes safe. Why the hell?"

"Not what. Yes already. I'll see you tomorrow."

The phone was turned off unilaterally by Radit. Hendra had already arrived home. After saying his greetings, he immediately went to his room. But since entering the house he has not seen any teteh or Lian and Mona. Hendra went into the room. But he was a little surprised when he saw the item given Radit was already on his bed.

"Oh, it must be you who put it here" murmured Hendra.
