Chapter 4: Cultural Invasion

"It's nice to meet you Ashina Uzumaki," Tanaka nodded, "Then I won't beat around the bush, I want to invite the Uzumaki Clan to join my Shinobiku Village in the Land of Dragons" Tanaka said seriously.

"Shinobi Village? Interesting, and what will we get by joining you?" Ashina did not directly refute but asked first.

"Freedom, security, food, shelter, resources, and more," Tanaka said with a smiling aura of confidence that was not in him.

"Haha, do you think that we Uzumaki Clan lack all that?" Ashina asked cynically.

"No, you don't lack it now, but what about in the future? Do you think the Uzumaki clan will remain strong forever? Just think, your sealing technique is feared throughout the shinobi world, what do you think will happen if all countries decide to do so?" ask Tanaka.

"Are you threatening us?" Ashina asked with a frown.

"I'm not threatening you, I'm just pointing out the possibility in the future" Tanaka said.

"..."

After a few seconds of silence, "I will think about it for now, you can stay in Uzumaki village for as long as you want" Ashina said.

"Okay, I'm waiting for your answer" Tanaka said with a smile and left.

Ashina sighed and fell silent, she started to think about what Tanaka said.

"Dad, are you thinking of accepting the invitation?" ask Mito.

"Don't you know, what he's all saying is true, no one dares to antagonize us especially because of me, then what will happen to the Uzumaki Clan if I die?" Ashina asked while looking at Mito.

"I will protect him" Mito said firmly.

"Then? What happened after you left?" ask Ashina.

"That's..." Mito doesn't know what to answer.

"Indeed, we are very strong at the moment and we don't need any protection, but this can't continue forever" Ashina sighed once more.

"Then what are we going to do?" ask Mito.

"We're not going to accept his offer yet, let's see if he's trustworthy" Ashina commented.

"As far as you are" Mito bowed and left.

Tanaka was strolling around Uzumaki village, admiring it, as it was not shown in the anime.

He was not in a hurry to get their answer because something like this should not be rushed, well, he had a lot of free time, why not use it for something.

Tanaka then went near the forest and sat there, he knew Ashina sent some people to observe him but he didn't really care.

He then crossed his legs and closed his eyes, then felt one of his clones at Ryu.

"Clone exchange!"

Tanaka then felt his entire body move at an extremely fast speed and in the next moment the feeling disappeared.

Tanaka opened his eyes and looked around, he returned to Ryugakure, in these few months, Tanaka did not remove his clones, even though they needed to rest, eat and sleep.

Still Tanaka did not mind, the clone worked very hard and Ryugakure flourished once again.

Tanaka nodded as he walked around his village, after which he walked towards the middle of the village.

The streets of his village were very organized, Tanaka used ideas from his modern past life because it was the best he could think of.

By the way, arriving in the middle of Ryugakure, Tanaka looked up and saw the village leader's Mansion, it was also his former wooden house.

He based his architecture on Osaka Castle, well, the design was different because Tanaka added a Dragon statue and also added a giant golden dragon structure on the roof, signifying Ryugakure, or Hidden Dragon Village. (A/N: The full name of the village is Hidden Village among Dragons)

There were some decorations in it but since it was newly built it was understandable Tanaka was entertaining himself, still the Mansion was huge.

By the way, Tanaka was not here to wander around in his house for now, but for something, he entered one of the storage rooms and found the one he was looking for.

It was a large room with different types of shounen jump placed, with the hard work of Tanaka's clone, he was able to recreate many types of manga.

For now, he could draw the 5 Manga he had finished reading in his previous life.

It was Dragon Ball, Gintama, Sailor Moon, Doraemon and Solo Leveling, while he also did so, he improved his image quality and they would be comparable to Solo Leveling, of course, he wrote the credits for the original author.

Tanaka then took out all the books and took out the scroll, it was the inventory scroll that Tanaka bought in Uzumaki village as he walked around.

He then stored 100 pieces of each manga into the scroll, as the maximum capacity of the scroll was 500 pieces.

Tanaka then sat down cross-legged and swapped with his clone.

Tanaka stretched his body and walked back to the hall of the clan leader.

"Ashina!" tanaka shouted, not caring about antiques.

"How can I help you Ryuo Tanaka?" Ashina asked calmly.

"I want to get permission if I can sell these items?" Tanaka then gave 5 different stories to Ashina.

"May I ask what this is?" ask Ashina.

"Yes, the name is Manga, a form of entertainment, hmm, how do I explain it, it's like reading a painting with text, roughly so" Tanaka 'explains'.

"I don't really understand but let me see" Ashina nodded and opened the first manga, Doraemon.

In one shounen Jump there will be a total of 5 chapters with 21 pages per chapter, and also colored, thankfully Tanaka is able to create a primitive printer that eases his cloning work.

After a while, Ashina finished reading and closed her book, then she looked towards Tanaka.

"Should I say, you have a creative mind Ryuo Tanaka," Ashina commented, to her, all the machines she saw in the manga were new worlds she had never seen before.

And that fascinated him, what if those things really existed? will it help if used correctly? he sighed, This Ryuo Tanaka is mysterious.

"I will allow it" Ashina nodded.

"OK, take those 5 as my gift because you need to buy the next book," Tanaka said and waved.

Ashina chuckled and read other books, there was rarely any entertainment in this chaotic time.

Tanaka left the hall of the Clan leader, and headed to one of the empty spaces in the uzumaki village.

"Jutsu Clone Shadow!"

10 Clones appeared around him.

"Let's work!" Tanaka orders them all to start working, Tanaka buys some building materials from the Uzumaki Clan and builds himself a small log cabin in a few hours.

Tanaka then started decorating the place, he let his clone work while he came back to pick up some more items.

All he took were statues, posters, anime card collections he made just for fun.

He then returned to Uzumaki village and added everything, It took Tanaka half a day to finish her work.

He then opened his shop, well, he kind of expected his business to be popular but the Uzumaki Clan was just watching him from afar.

"I guess, I'll wait" he went inside and waited for his first customer.

It didn't take long for someone to make trouble with him, ahem, meaning his first customer, it was Uzumaki Mito.

"I want to buy 5 books" said Mito, he picked up 5 different manga.

"You're lucky! One shounen jump costs 100 ryo but since you are my customer, you will only cost 499 ryo and you will also get 1 statue!" Tanaka said with a smile, he then returned 1 ryo to Mito.

Mito wanted to say something but stopped, Tanaka then handed him a statue of Doraemon.

Mito then left after that, seeing clan princess Uzumaki buying a shounen jump, the Uzumaki Clan was interested and started to check his wares.

Tanaka smiled, 'This is the beginning of the Cultural Invasion!' he laughed at his thoughts.

2 Months have passed since Tanaka arrived at Uzumaki village and members of the Uzumaki Clan began to open up to him.

He could now casually chat with them for no reason, then make jokes that made them laugh at each other, on the whole, he became close friends with them.

Manga also became popular, almost all members of the Uzumaki Clan read it, the cultural invasion went very well.

Tanaka today did not ditch his shop, he was with some members of the Uzumaki Clan who wanted to patrol.

Tanaka wanted to breathe fresh air, so he volunteered to join.

"Shin, just wait" Tanaka replied as he patted the young man's head, his name was Shin Uzumaki, and his favorite manga was solo leveling, he often visited Tanaka to ask for his next shounen jump.

As they continued to move, Tanaka suddenly raised his hand and made everyone stop.
