Part 14's. Relented

That night, when Jihan was unconscious Cliantha was more silent. Instead, her busy husband takes care of all the hospital administration for the purposes of handling Jihan. Cliantha did not help much, but also took care of Jihan who was still unconscious in the hospital bed.

When the examination process is carried out by a doctor, the first person who is most anxious is Narendra. The man felt guilty for forcing Jihan too much to drink her milk. In front of the ER room, Narendra tried to be calm, but his worries could not be hidden. The man walked back and forth, unable to sit quietly like Cliantha did.

The pink-thrumped woman approached her husband, channeling the calm she had.

"Mas, you calm down. Hopefully nothing will happen to Jihan and the baby" said Cliantha, who noticed her husband's anxiety with her grabbing Narendra's cold hand.

For some reason, Cliantha saw, her husband was already able to accept Jihan in his life. Now he feels both happy and frightened. Happy because the man has started to care for his second wife, but also afraid that later he will be the one who must be removed.

However, he could always calm his heart because all he knew was that her husband loved her so much that it would not be possible if the man turned away, at least Narendra would definitely be fair to his two wives. So thought Cliantha.

Narendra touched his wife's cheek, "But, during this time he was fine drinking the milk," said Narendra astonished.

Cliantha shook her head, "She never drinks her milk, I always finish it,"

"really? Why did you never say it? So, this is all my fault, honey. I'm the one who's too pushy, we don't know if she's traumatized or allergic to milk. You don't know either, do you?

Cliantha nodded, "but, I don't think it's going to be a big deal since even Jihan had spewed out all of her entrails earlier. Hopefully good things will always accompany it," said Cliantha wished her the best for honey.

"Yes, you're right. Aamiin," said Narendra while hugging his wife. Then, the man could be calmer after Cliantha said the steatment.

"He'll be fine for spewing all out" Narendra said.

In her husband's arms, Cliantha could hear Narendra's heartbeat sounding noisy inside her chest with an erratic rhythm. She could have guessed that her husband was in a state of worry at the moment.

"Mas, your heart's pounding. You still worried?" Asked Cliantha who raised her head.

"Yes, I'm afraid that something will happen to her or make her sick" replied Narendra lowering his head.

Cliantha nodded, she knew very well how sincere her husband was to anyone. Then, he remembered the story of his mother-in-law if in fact, the man abstained from hurting women. Cliantha knew that in her husband's mind, a woman was a creature to be glorified, as the teachings of her husband got from her mother.

Until here Cliantha understood why Narendra was so anxious and could not calm down before hearing the woman's condition from the doctor directly who said if Jihan was okay.

"Please, you don't get me wrong" Narendra said next.

"Absolutely not. I must know that I understand you very well" said Cliantha to calm her husband's heart.

When the doctor came out of the examination room, Narendra who was holding Cliantha immediately ran over to the doctor with his wife.

"Are there no allergies or anything like that, Doc?"

"Nothing, sir. Just need to get used to it, then his body will gradually receive slowly. Oh yeah, she's pregnant, huh? The content is quite weak, please note the health and nutrition of the mother and baby" said the doctor.

"Now he is under the influence of drugs in order to get enough rest. Tomorrow morning will regain consciousness" explained the doctor.

After the doctor's departure, Narendra did not hesitate to book a meeting room with the best service in the hospital for the recovery of a woman who had been made 'sick' by him.

Seeing a woman lying weakly under the cold blanket of the hospital, made Narendra feel like a cowardly man for making a woman sick. Then the thought was when his mother was hurt by the father and made the woman who had given birth to him cry constantly.

In front of Jihan's body, the man apologized.

"I'm sorry, I'm, "it's as simple as that she's apologizing for a woman who's actually nobody in her life. However, his promise to the mother made him have to keep the feelings of any woman and promise to never hurt the feelings of any women.

In the exclusive inpatient room, Cliantha was awake all night because she accompanied Narendra who was not calm and slept in a bed that was available specifically for the family of patients who stayed overnight.

"Mas, aren't you going to sleep all night?"

"Awhile more. You go first, honey," he told Cliantha.

However, the woman was tired of hearing the answer coming out of her husband's mouth who had just said 'a little while'.

"Since I said a little while. It's 2pm, you rest" said Cliantha, who was standing next to her husband, sitting next to Jihan's bed, who was sleeping quietly under the influence of sleeping pills.

"Why can't my heart calm down? I heard from the doctor that he was okay. Why is it like this?" Ask Narendra who it is.

"Mas, it's because you've never made anyone else suffer before. He never hurt me or anyone else intentionally, but trust me if you're not hurting him. You want to do what's best for Jihan and her baby" Cliantha said.

Then, the man nodded, then gradually he could sit quietly and over time he fell asleep on the side of the bed Jihan in a sitting position. Cliantha did not intend to wake him up and asked him to sleep in the available bed or the man would instead lose his drowsiness again.

In the morning, after the dhuha prayer, Cliantha did not enter Jihan's hospitalization. His steps came to a halt as he was about to open the door of the room, but were startled by the sight seen from the gap of the door that had already opened slightly, she could see Jihan looking at Narendra's face and occasionally stroking her husband's head.

To be honest, there was a slight throb in her heart when she saw another woman's hand touching her husband. Cliantha also knew that Jihan was back pretending to be asleep when Narendra was disturbed in her sleep.

The peak when Cliantha saw the two of them feed each other food from the same cutlery until finally Cliantha felt bad to continue to see the scene and decided to leave the room on the grounds that he would ask the officer cleanliness mopped the wet floor because of the juice he accidentally spilled.
