"Mom sure you don't want to talk to me? Are you not afraid of regret? I'm getting married, Mom."
"Who are you married to, Shanum? What area does your husband care about?" rara asked intentionally, ridiculing.
Shanum only glanced at Rara. If in the past he would respond to the babble of his best friend with a smile, consider all Rara's words are just jokes, not for now. Shanum was already a different person. Experience really teaches her to be a tough and better woman.
Now, he was already able to sort out people who really liked him or not.
"You're married, what does it have to do with Mom? Your future husband knows no, you have an illegitimate child?" That question Mia asked in a loud voice. Intentionally, so that all the neighbors hear. For some reason, he was happy to humiliate Shanum. Though clearly, Shanum is her biological daughter.
"Bu ...," Shanum scolded, she was uncomfortable with the question.
"Shanum, the boy who was with you the other day, that's a bastard?" rara asked, she raised her voice as well. Rara did not let anyone be on top of her, let alone Shanum.
"He is indeed my son" Shanum admitted. "Regardless of whatever his status is, I will still acknowledge him as my son. There is no shame in admitting it" Shanum said with a sweet smile at Rara.
However, Shanum's words just now struck him so hard. She knew Shanum was insinuating her because while in the hospital Rara accidentally let go of Nabil's hand in embarrassment.
"Really!" rara shouted.
"Rather than your husband will be disappointed, better tell him as soon as possible, you have an illegitimate child. Don't cheat, Shanum. Fear your husband's family will be ashamed!" ketus Mia, smiled sinisterly with a sharp gaze staring at Shanum who was still standing in front of him.
"Look Rara, already beautiful, she can take care of herself. During her marriage to Rio, she was very happy. What she wants, is always given by Rio," Mia said, praising Rara. Makes the woman smile while raising her eyebrows.
'Fortunately, I always showed happiness. No one will know my misery, Rara smiled.
"Mom, I don't care about other people's happiness. Why are you talking about this and that? I came here, wanted to ask you for your blessing," Shanum said, sighing long tired of Mia who continued to corner and drop her.
"Restu what? Four years ago I kicked you out, I don't think of you as a child anymore. Get the fuck out of here! I did not accept your arrival!" mia snapped, rejecting Shanum's body until it was cornered.
"Where is he?" ask Shanum.
"Who?" mia asked frowning.
"Lukman, your husband is in mokondo" Shanum replied. "Are you happy after you've married that mokondo guy?"
"Don't be rude to you, yes, Shanum." Mia's voice was rising.
"There were so many bruises on Mom's face, that's why I asked. I don't know what makes you respect that man so much." Shanum chuckled softly.
"Go!" Mia back to snarl.
Shanum placed his luggage right at Mia's feet. Then he left without saying anything more. The tightness of the pent-up makes it difficult to talk. One word came out of his mouth, making a drop of his tears fall. Really, his heart hurts.
"Shanum ...," said Rio, approaching Shanum and trying to hold the woman's hand. But, directly brushed aside Shanum. Seeing all that before her eyes, Rara's blood boiled with tightly clenched hands.
"Rio, are you home?" Rara rushed over to Rio, her husband. "Come, we're home!" take Rara, grab Rio's arm.
"You're nothing, anyway, Rara? Release!" Rio stomped roughly Rara's embrace.
Rara's face was grim, she was so embarrassed that Rio treated her that harshly in front of so many people. Moreover, all this time he predicted that their relationship was filled with happiness.
Shanum doesn't care, he rides his motorcycle leaving his childhood home. No matter Rio who kept calling out his name.
Shanum rubbed his cheeks wet with tears. He just showed his strength and determination. Actually, his heart wasn't that strong. Her longing feelings for Mother were quite great, but she was too embarrassed and afraid to express her longing.
It didn't take long, Shanum arrived at his boarding house. So scared Shanum thought, he forgot to pick up Arsenio. In fact, Shanum had promised to pick up the little guy sooner and they would go for a walk.
"Sha, how?" Arthur's voice shocked Shanum. The woman flinched, frowning her forehead.
"Why are you here? Waiting for me?" shanum asked, his eyes glowing in all directions. Looking for the whereabouts of Arsenio whom he did not meet.
"Yes. I'm waiting for you," Arthur honestly. "Have your mother given you an answer? Mama kept asking me that, which is why I came here." This time the man lied. He was the one who could not wait for an answer, wanting to immediately make Shanum his whole possession.
However, his heart and logic are still contradictory. If his heart says he wants to marry Shanum for some other reason, the logic is that they will soon marry, for Arsenio's sake.
Shanum did not answer. His feet moved closer to Arthur. He pulled up the chair next to Arthur and sat himself in the chair. His face turned upward, repeatedly Shanum took a deep breath to neutralize the grief that was suffocating his chest.
Arthur, who noticed that it was different from Shanum, asked, "What's wrong?"
"I'm not sure she's agreeing to this marriage" Shanum said with a bitter smile.
"Your mom ... doesn't approve of us getting married?" arthur asked to confirm Shanum's words.
Shanum shook his head. "It's not like that. My mother doesn't want to know anything I'm doing. So, I guess it's free too" Shanum explained.
Arthur fell silent. Slowly his hands began to perch on Shanum's shoulders. Because there was no rejection, then he dared to gently rub the shoulders of his wife sir.
"I'm going to do something, take it easy" Arthur said.
"Something? What are you gonna do? Don't be weird, I don't want to be a bad boy" Shanum said restlessly. He thought that the way Arthur would use it was a tragic way that could possibly wipe out someone's life. Really, Shanum's thinking was excessive.
"Your relationship with your mother was strained because of my selfish mistakes. Take it easy, I won't do anything bad" said Arthur, his hand rubbing completely calmed Shanum who was being overwhelmed with tremors.
