Is There an Important Thing?

Daniel and Alesya are forced to postpone dinner together with father and mother. They had to go to Daniel's parents' house because of the brother's phone.

"Who the hell is the guest, Mas? Why should we come too?" alesya asked as she followed Daniel's footsteps towards her father-in-law's house.

"Eitherway. Sis Desi doesn't talk about who's coming over these nights."

It didn't take long, Daniel and Alesya had already arrived at the courtyard next to Daniel's parents' house. They directly entered through a side door that connected directly with the living room and dining room.

There were voices of people chatting from the living room of Daniel's family home. Daniel and Alesya decided to join. 

Once in the living room, Daniel and Alesya were surprised to see who the guests were there. In fact, Alesya immediately grabbed Daniel's arm so surprised.

"Mommy? Papi's? How come it's here?" daniel's reflexes immediately sounded.

Yes, at that time the guest who visited Daniel's parents' house was Nia's mother, Indra's papi, and another one of course was Ferdian. Daniel and Alesya were completely shocked by their arrival.

Daniel's parents turned to Daniel and Alesya, who were standing not far from their seats. Daniel's parents' knuckles were compactly wrinkled because they were confused as to how Daniel and Alesya knew their guests, even having called all mami and papi.

"You know each other, Dan?" ask papa Daniel.

"Eh, um, I've seen you in Jogja yesterday, Pa." Daniel answered while walking to greet the guests and was followed by Alesya. Afterwards, Daniel and Alesya sat on the same long sofa as her brother.

Papa and mama Daniel nodded their heads in understanding. After that, small talk was again done. Mama Daniel, who realized that it was actually in the evening meal, immediately took the initiative to prepare dinner to entertain the guests.

Alesya and sister Desi followed her mother to prepare dinner. Lucky mama prepares excess dinner and there are some additional menus to welcome the arrival of her son. Mama Daniel has no idea that tonight he will have a guest. Moreover, the guest who came was his daughter's lecturer and her parents.

"Sorry, Ma. I also don't know if Mr. Ferdian and his parents will come here tonight. They didn't say anything, either." Sis Desi defended herself while arranging the dishes on the dining table.

Alesya was busy preparing drinking water for the guests while listening to the chatter of the two people in front of her without commenting.

"Well, you don't know if they're gonna stop by here, Des?" Mom asked with an expression of disbelief. And, of course, brother Desi could clearly see that.

"Mama don't believe it? I told you if you didn't know they wanted to stop by, Ma. I do know if Mr. Ferdian will go to Jakarta after from Bandung. But, I really don't know if he's going to stop by here with his parents" replied Mr. Desi with an annoyed expression. 

It is true that sister Desi did not know about the arrival of her lecturer with her parents. Mr. Ferdian didn't say anything about his arrival with the parents that night.

"What's so weird about them suddenly coming here together, Des? It wasn't your new lecturer's parents from Makassar, was it?" 

"Yes, Ma. Mami and papi are indeed since a week ago in Makassar."

"So that from the airport straight here means so much. Is there anything important that requires them to come straight here? Though mama's sure they're actually quite tired."

"Mama, what's important?" asked Sis Desi while looking at the mama with a frown.

"You proposed to you probably," replied the mama with a relaxed expression.

"Mama!"
