Chapter 27 - Mas Arya?

" Mom's not asleep?" Anindita knocks on the door of Mama Arya's room and enters after getting an answer from Arka's grandmother.

" No, Anin. What's up, son?" asked Mama Arya who was sitting on the edge of the bed.

" There's nothing, Ma. Just wanted to check. The vitamins have not been taken, Ma?" Anindita saw the medicine spot on the nightstand.

" It was before Isya prayer, son." said Mama Arya.

Anindita looked at Mama Arya, she was reminded of Aryan's two sisters. Although never delivered, but Anindita can feel if Mama Arya really think of her two children.

However the treatment of children to their parents, does not make parents immediately hate their children. Maybe that's how Mama Arya feels right now.

" What's up, Anin?" mama Arya asked, realizing that Anindita was looking at her so intently.

" It's okay, Ma. Mama better take a break." Anindita helps Mama Arya lie down. She then enveloped Mama Arya with a thick blanket to cover the neck of Mama from her former first husband who she had considered like her own mother.

After installing a sleeping lamp, Anindita came out of Mama Arya's room to return to the apartment below where Ricky and his two children live.

Anindita brought her coffee and brownies to Ricky who was still finishing work in his study. Anindita made her own brownies, because she really likes to cook and make cakes.

" Not finished yet, Mum?" tanya Anindita put coffee and brownies on her husband's desk.

" No, there's a lot of work during my time off. I had to catch up on finishing it, so I brought it home to finish quickly" Ricky said.

Anindita saw her husband was busy with work brought from the office. Actually he wanted to talk to Ricky about Arya's two sisters looking for him. But seeing Ricky so busy loading himself undo that intention.

" What's up, Anin?" It seems that Ricky realized that his wife wanted to say something to him.

" Hmmm, there's nothing, Mom. Continue the work." Anindita brushed off if she really wanted to say something.

" What's the matter? Just talk, it's okay." Ricky stopped his activity revising the report on his laptop.

" Later, Mas. I don't want to interrupt Ricky's work." Anindita still did not want to say the problem she was thinking about.

" Just say it's okay. Do you miss our honeymoon?" Ricky smirked seductively at Anindita.

" Geez, Mom. Why did he think in that direction, anyway!?" Anindita rolled her eyeballs.

" Yes, now that you just say, what's troubling your mind right now?" ask Ricky then.

" Hmmm, look, Mas. Last afternoon Mbak Mita told me, when we went on vacation, Mbak Ria and Mbak Lanny came to his shop Ci Lucy. They asked me for my phone number and the address where I live. But Ci Lucy doesn't love you, Mom. According to Ricky. What are they looking for me? Do they want to meet Mama? But, unfortunately, Ci Lucy doesn't want to give me my number and this address. Ci Lucy kicked them both out." Anindita regrets Lucy's tough attitude towards her two ex-sisters-in-law.

" It's good that Lucy's mom kicked them out. What else are they looking for you? Actually they were also looking for me at the office to meet. Ask for my phone number and also the address where we live." Ricky recalled the information conveyed by Lisna, Dirga's secretary about the person who claimed to be Aunty from Arka coming to the office of Angkasa Raya Group.

" Same Sister Ria Lanny to Mas's office too? Then they get the same HP number we don't, Mas?" Anindita gasped when she found out that Arya's two sisters had come to her husband's office.

" No employee dares to provide information that is privacy, whether I, Mr. Dirga or other company officials without our respective permission," said Ricky.

" I don't know. What do we keep their phone numbers for anyway?" Ricky looks indifferent and lazy when talking about Arya's two sisters.

" She, after all they are Mama's children. Naudzubillahimin dzalik, if anything happens with Mama, they as his son must know, Mas. If we don't have their HP numbers, how can we contact them?" Anindita disagrees with her husband.

" Do they care about Fatma? They left Mom at the nursing home, and then were not present when we invited dinner. You think she still cares about Mom?" Ricky tried to advise his wife, so that his wife can open her mind, not easily trust and too good to others, especially the person was clearly not being kind to his wife.

" But we mustn't hold such grudges, Mas. If we are always influenced by resentment, it will continue to be embedded forever in our hearts. I don't like it that way, Mommy." Anindita opposes Ricky's opinion.

" I didn't tell you to hold a grudge, Anin. I only ask you to be more careful especially to those who have been bad to you. Did you forget how they insulted you and evicted you from Mr. Arya's house?" Responding to his wife's stubbornness, Ricky was a little annoyed.

" Ck, stop it, Mom! Just continue the work, Mom. I'm lazy to argue with Mas!" Anindita passes leaving Ricky.

" She ...!! Anindita ...!!" Even Anindita does not tell Ricky who calls his name.

Anindita stood on the edge of the balcony railing while staring at the ceiling of her room. The debate with her husband earlier made her heart suddenly turbulent.

Ricky is kind, attentive and full. However, sometimes Ricky's hostile attitude towards his former sister-in-law makes his heart uncomfortable.

Anindita does not want to antagonize Ria and Lanny, because after all they are the children of Mother Fatma. She feels guilty to Arya if she ignores her ex-husband's sisters first. Especially if the Aryan sisters are in trouble.

Remembering the figure of her ex-husband first, suddenly a sense of longing was present in Anidita's heart. The firm yet wise figure of Arya so made her heart calm. Even Arya is able to make herself fall in love with a man, after her bad past.

Anindita closed her eyes without feeling her tears dripping down her cheeks. It seems that the longing for the figure of her first ex-husband has not disappeared in her heart, especially if she is arguing with Ricky like this.

However, Anindita suddenly flinched in shock when she felt a hand touching her waist and coiled around hugging her full of warmth.

" Arya's Mas?" Somehow Anindita seemed to sense Arya's current presence by her side.

" Arya?" But Ricky's clear voice in Anindita's ears made the woman gasp when she realized Ricky was the one holding her.
