The next morning Vera gets the news that Edgar cannot be saved he has an injury to his brain a diffuse axonal injury that leaves Edgar dead in the hospital,Sherran's parents Edgar does not blame Vera for Edgar's death he considers it an accident, because it feels guilty Vera to see Sherran at night,he looked to be guarding the bar as usual but this time he looked lethargic and uninspired
