Eps 01 (Happy Birthday Gie)
The phone sounded as if it would not be silent. It's late at night and I don't know who's calling at this hour. Gienka's forehead is wrinkled and she's eager to curse the man who called her in the middle of the night blind like this. Gienka will not forgive him. Exasperated and eyes still closed, he tried to reach for his phone on the table and then picked it up without seeing who was contacting him.
"Yes hello.... Don't you have a brain and no clock, it's night and you're just interfering with my sleep....!!" His grunt.
Instead of talking, the man laughed at Gienka's anger, making Gienka even more upset. But then Gienka woke up to the sound of laughter. It was unmistakable that it was the sound of Kyros laughter. Spontaneity Gienka wakes up from her sleep and checks her phone and turns on her bedroom lights. How surprised Gienka when looking at the screen of his phone that Kyros was contacting him, not an ordinary call but a video call that immediately showed his pillow face on the screen, while on that screen Kyros kept laughing realizing how messy Gienka was right now. Gienka immediately threw her phone on the pillow, and she rushed down from the bed shouting at Kyros asking the man to wait a while. Gienka went to her dresser and combed her hair and rubbed her face, checking to make sure there was nothing wrong with her face, then she jumped back into bed picking up her phone and was about to say hello to Kyros. But his mouth closed again as the man smiled and spoke.
"Gie's happy birthday.....! Happy birthday to you.. You are quite simply the most beautiful, caring, the sweetest person I have ever met, and I wish only happiness for you today and evermore!" Kyros said with a smile.
Gienka gasped for a moment and counted and remembered the day. Yes, it's his birthday, his 18th birthday. For the umpteenth time Kyros became the first person to give her a birthday wish even before her parents.
They've been best friends since they were babies, and Kyros is someone Gienka has been thinking about lately for some reason. The man who is currently studying abroad is always taking the time to just greet and contact him even though only a few minutes, and every day Gienka always waits for him even though Kyros is not his lover. But Kyros was always in his heart and became his best friend long ago.
And some days Kyros did not contact him because the man was having an exam to get into a prestigious university in America to continue his education and deepen his astronomy there. Kyros wanted to be an astronaut and an astronomer so he spent his day studying, studying and studying. Kyros is currently in Switzerland as a high school student there. While Gienka is in Jakarta, and one school with Kyra, Kyros' twin sister.
Gienka did not expect Kyros to take the time to wish him a happy birthday. Because Gienka knew that Kyros was very busy studying.
Gienka smiled but her eyes glazed over. "Thanks Ky....! You're so mean why don't you tell me if you're going to call, I can be prepared and not appear this mess in front of you....!"
Kyros' laughter sounded. "If I tell you first of all, it's not a surprise... You're this....???"
Gienka laughed and thanked me again. Kyros can always make her laugh and smile. Gienka was so happy when she could talk to Kyros. It is something he looks forward to every day. "GIE....!!! Gienka....!!!" Shouted Kyros because Gienka was daydreaming and did not notice him.

"May daydream, are you sleepy??? Yeah, I'm sleeping, then....!" Kyros.
"Eh no-no....! I'm not sleepy or daydreaming, I'm just glad you finally called me... What about the test preparation???" Ask Gienka again.
"All right, I'm a little nervous but Im good...! Well where are you going yourself?"
"Don't ask me about it, I still haven't thought of anything, I want to catch up with you but you'll be going too....!" Gienka smile.
"Hahaha yes you will go directly to America, Stanford or Harvard, I am waiting for you here....! Uncle Iel used to be a Harvard alum, you just go there...!"
"Papa told me to go to London first after that after his graduation just continued there, yes I think Papa's idea is good anyway, I agree because it can be a little close to you because it is still Europe but you even want to travel further... I'm rethinking... Hehehhe"
Kyros chuckled at Gienka's words. "So you want to go to college or get close to me actually???" Ask Kyros.
"You think???" Gienka immediately made Kyros speechless.
Seeing Kyros' silent expression and a little surprised, Gienka laughed at him. Gienka's laughter was so loose that Kyros also laughed. After chatting for a while, Gienka began yawning and Kyros told her to go back to sleep and apologized for disturbing her sleep. Kyros promised that tomorrow he would contact Gienka again if he had returned from school. Gienka nodded, smiled and thanked him again because Kyros was already the best friend for him.
"Rest and may you grow older you become more mature and not childish anymore... I love you so much, Gie.... Happy Birthday ....!" Kyros.
"Thanks Ky's.... I missed you too.... I'm waiting for my gift from you to come here....!" Gienka Temptation.
Kyros laughs. "You will definitely get your reward from me, now rest....!"
Kyros then closes his video call and Gienka puts her phone on the bed, unexpectedly standing up and dancing happily. He did not know why but his feelings suddenly flowered. Kyros contacted him, giving him a birthday wish would also save him a present, perhaps that is what makes Gienka so happy at this time, on her 18th birthday. Kyros can always make her feel like she's flying. Kyros has always won her heart, and every day Gienka misses her. Gienka occasionally thinks whether she likes Kyros more than just a best friend or this is just purely a happy feeling because her closest friend is so considerate, Gienka does not know. But Gienka eventually convinced herself that she did like Kyros more than just a friend.
