Chapter 69 Panic
Next morning..
When Barra was still lounging on the bed, suddenly the man remembered that today was the twenty-first curry Gwen was in quarantine. Barra immediately flinched, and got up from the bed. The man was direct
looking for a cell phone, and hoping to find a informer from his wife.
“Barra. Since I'm on a picket schedule, I can't take the girl to Aman Hotel. I can only help him to find a taxi.” Barra flinched reading the chat sent since yesterday by Ronnie.
“Why can I forget Gwen. This chat was sent by Ronnie yesterday afternoon, but why didn't I meet my wife. Did Gwen come back to the lab when she didn't see me at the hotel.?” suddenly Barra became panicked.
The man recalled, his return to the Pant House was greeted sweetly by Jacqluine rather than by his wife. Suddenly bad thoughts haunt the man..
“Do not... Gwen met with Jacqluine, and there was a quarrel with her.” Barra immediately opened the door of her room. Not seeing anyone in the living room, Barra shifted towards the room next to her.
But as the man was about to head to the room used by Jacqluine sleeping, the man's eyes stared at the blue invitation letter on the table. Barra immediately came back to the table in the living room, then picked up the blue paper and read it.
“Damn it.. This is a gala dinner invitation for later tonight. With this invitation on the table, it means Gwen is really back. But why did the girl leave without trying to wait for me to give this invitation. Or... “ again remembers the existence of Jacqluine who always came to the Pant House as she pleased, Barra became jolted.
The man again rushed towards the room Jacqluine used to rest. In front of the bedroom door, Barra banged on the door to wake the woman. Not long after, the door of the room opened from the inside, and Jacqluine who was still rubbing her eyes opened the door.
“Jacqluine.. since when did you come to this room. Did you meet a girl.... yesterday afternoon?” without ba bi bu, Barra immediately chased after the woman with questions.
„Gadis... Who, is your nephew? I saw him yesterday in your room, baby, but I don't know where he went. Your nephew's gaze was very unfriendly, and it was like looking at me with a hostile aura.” Leisurely, Jacqluine recounted her meeting with Gwen yesterday.
„F***uck. What are you talking to her.?” the intonation of Barra's words increased, and it made Jacqluine startled.
“I didn't talk to him much, I just introduced myself to him. I honestly say, if I was your lover Barra.. Nothing is wrong, right... But not knowing why, the girl kicked me out. Not wanting to make a fuss, I finally left the girl, and I went into this room. Is there something wrong barra, why do you look panicked.” heard the words of Jacqluine, suddenly Barra became weak.
„There must be a misunderstanding here.. You are wrong beb.. You have been presumptuous to tell the girl, if you are my lover. We're no longer in a relationship, remember it's Jacqluine. Your departure left me a few years ago, has made me ditch hope for you. Leave you from my room beb... go.” suddenly Barra again voiced in a high tone. Gwen's departure left him apparently caused a sense of loss to the man.
Jacqluine was shocked by the reaction shown by Barra. The girl looked fearfully at the man who was looking at her with anger.
“What happened dear.., why are you suddenly angry with me. Whether my actions are wrong, whatever you do to me, I still consider you as my dear lover.” Jacqluine tried to stay close to Barra. But the man refused, and instead retreated backwards.
„You've messed up all Jacqluine. You've always come into my life, and ruined everything. Gwen is not my niece, but that innocent girl is my wife. The girl I married two months ago. You've messed up our relationship Jacq. Leave before I lose.
Hearing the explanation from the man, Jacqluine looked extremely shocked. The woman did not expect Barra to have a wife. And the girl he married was still a little boy, who deserved to be his nephew. With her eyes twinkling, Jacqluine was still staring at Barra.
“Don't be angry darling..if the girl leaves, it means she doesn't love you dear. The proof is that he left you. This is an opportunity for us to reunite dear, we will re-knit our relationship that is delayed.” shamelessly, Jacqluine even closer to Barra.
Seeing this, the man grew angry.
„I give you a maximum of thirty minutes. Pack up, and leave my hotel room. Or I'll have you imprisoned, who has been without permission to enter my hotel room.” With a threatening tone, Barra continued to chase the girl out.
Gaining that threat, and given her career as an international model, made Jacqluine's guts grow faint. The woman thought that if building her work was not easy, it took a lot of courage and sacrifice.,
“Don't be impulsive darling.I'll give you time to calm down. I'll take my gear first in the room. I'll leave you alone.” Jacqluin immediately entered the room and closed the door.

In the room
Returning to the room made Barra become aware. The man only knew that all of Gwen's clothes and gear were not in the room. Not even the girl's phone was visible on the table. Barra immediately picked up her phone, then dialed Gwen's number several times. Looks like Gwen has blocked the number, because there is no sound from his wife.
“Did my wife go back to the lab. Or am I catching up with him at the moment.” Barra thought in panic. Suddenly the man remembered his friend Ronnie, who served in the laboratory. A little while later, Barra immediately connected to Ronnie's phone.
“Hi bro. Miss Gwen arrived at the hotel safe instead, and don't forget to remind if it's Gala dinner tonight. Do not let the girl forget because it is too busy traveling around New York. You will definitely come too...?” it turns out from Ronnie's words, it seems to hint that his wife has not yet returned to the laboratory.
„Of course bro.. thanks for the help for Gwen. Just that I called you Ronnie. later tonight we will meet again.” finally Barra deflected her intention to contact her friend.
After turning off his phone, the man returned to the area. It's obvious that his wife made a mistake, and got lost in New York City.
“Grandpa Madja and Andrew would have been very angry with me, if I had known my wife had left me alone. Ah...” Back Barra hit his head. The man was confused, and waited for the night to take his wife to the Gala Dinner.
„But I'm sure, tonight Gwen won't be leaving the last Olympic event. I'll come to the show, and bring back my wife to come home.” finally Barra hope on the show later tonight. On that occasion, the man was sure he would be able to go home and bring Gwen back.
