The Chapter 70 Gala Dinner

Aldo smiled as he watched Gwen come out of the room where she was resting. Last night, Aldo and his two best friends slept in one room. While Gwen sleeps alone in the room that Aldo used to rest.
“How rest you Gwen. I deliberately ordered room service to deliver our break fast to the room.” Aldo asked Gwen to sit down. A loving gaze was always visible in the youngster's eyes, but Gwen did not regard it as anything more.
Without replying, Gwen sat down in front of Aldo, and immediately picked up the man's coffee and sipped it. Aldo was pleased with the situation, as he usually was without hesitation, they often shared food and drinks together. Aldo felt that his best friend had returned. Though deep down, there is a desire to know how Gwen really feels about him.
“Where is Asep and Raffi.,. The ald? Kok room looks quiet.” felt did not see the whereabouts of two young people who came along with Aldo, Gwen asked him.
Aldo smiled, and while picking up the cut of the sandwich with the fork, the man looked at Gwen.
“So they say goodbye to exercise. Have breakfast first.You said this afternoon you have to go back to the laboratory. We will accompany you for the event later tonight, may not.” Aldo spoke carefully.
„Definitely Aldo. You are my family here, nothing else. Accompany me. Well, for an appreciation event later tonight. I didn't expect to get any achievements, by joining this Olympics, a lot of new experiences I had. It has become the biggest gift I have achieved.” Without thinking for a long time, Gwen answered him immediately. The thought of Barra trying to forget the girl,
“If so. Mama and papa's boutique subscription will come here to deliver formal clothes for us. Later that night, Asep and Raffi will wear suits to accompany you.. You also have prepared a dress, no, I saw it last night.” while continuing to enjoy the sandwich, Aldo responded to the words of the girl he loved.
Gwen smiled flatly, but in the small heart of Gwen, her husband Barra would accompany her. When giving appreciation at the Asian level, the man did not come to encourage him. But when he remembered the woman who claimed to be Barra's lover, Gwen's hope seemed to disappear. Together with his three best friends, it has made the girl's heart happy.
“Thank you Aldo. Probably at 14:00 p.m.I'll be back in the lab. I don't want my arrival any obstacle, so I can prepare everything well in mess.” Gwen finally conveys her plan to return to the lab.
„Why don't we come with Gwen.. We can accompany you, and you told me yesterday, if at a gala dinner tonight, outsiders can come in. And the opportunity was opened since noon.” Aldo recalled the story that the girl had told him yesterday.
“Hempph.. If your wish is like that, I would certainly like it very much. Tell Asep and Raffi that during the day we will go to the laboratory. We'll be together to come there.” Hearing Aldo's words, Gwen finally agreed to the proposal to come along with the three young people.
Once gathered with his friends, the memory of Barra and the woman who claimed to be his lover was forgotten. The girl greedily enjoyed her morning breakfast, and hid the sadness felt in her heart. Not long after, Raffi and Asep had returned from exercising.
“Hey. Asep and I had breakfast at the restaurant earlier.” saw Aldo and Gwen were having breakfast together, Raffi greeted the two.
“Iya Raffi. Aren't you the least able to endure hunger no.” Gwen spoke the young man's words.
„He. he.. he. is right too, you still remember Gwen. I became embarrassed.” Raffi pretended to be embarrassed. The other three young people laughed at Raffi's clumsiness.

Glitter lights decorate the auditorium used for Gala dinner. That night Gwen dressed up very pretty, in a mint-colored dress. Hikata's makeup helped the girl further accentuate her beauty. Aldo and the other two friends were fascinated by Gwen's makeup. They couldn't believe seeing Gwen for the first time.
„Gwen.. tonight you look so beautiful..” Aldo sincerely praised the girl he loved so much.
“Thank you Ald. Just plain time... Hikata my friend from Japan, who helped me to make up. The girl turned out to be very smart to make me beautiful like this.” with humble, Gwen instead praised her roommate. Suddenly, three girlfriends in her room walked up to Gwen.
“Cathy... Hikata.., Selena, you're here apparently. Meet my three best friends and schoolmates. We're used to doing all three, though,.. Raffi.., Asep, Aldo knows my three friends here.” Gwen introduced her friends.
The six young men then shook hands, they introduced themselves to each other. Gwen smiled looking at him, there was warmth going into her heart seeing they could gather in this place. A few moments later..
“We are approaching the round table on the front of the yukk.. There was an announcement, before the appreciation event, we have not been able to be with our companion. Only at the dinner, we are free to choose the table.” Cathy invites Gwen to move to a bigger place.
Gwen felt doubtful, the girl looked towards her three male friends. Fortunately Aldo was responding to the situation.
“Go Gwen. We'll be easy to find you after the show. The guest list does not seem like much, so you will be clearly visible whereabouts by us.” Aldo invited Gwen to leave them.
„Really Aldo.. Asep, Raffy.. You guys don't matter, if I live alone.?” Gwen asked back to make sure.
The three young men nodded their heads simultaneously. Upon seeing that, gwen and her three girlfriends then walked towards the front. Seen Mrs Barbara, the secretary of the committee waving at them. Apparently the woman was looking for a place for the four contestants. Gwen and the three of them immediately went to the woman.
„The four of you sit in front, the event will start soon.” kindly, Mrs Barbara invites the four girls to sit on the round table in front.
“Good Mrs Barbara, thank you.” politely Gwen responded to the woman's invitation. The four girls immediately put themselves into the spot that the woman showed.
Mrs Barbara nodded her head, and the middle-aged woman shifted to another place. The four girls immediately faced forward, as it appeared the host had already entered the stage to guide the course of the event.
“Hey.. isn't that Mister Miguel Cardona..” suddenly Hikata yells.
“Hemmphh... who is it, I just heard his name.” Cathy spoke Hikata.
„Miguel Cardona the United States Minister of Education. Apparently the man took the time to attend, we are very proud to have the opportunity to have dinner with him.” Selena from Canada explains. There was pride flashing across the girl's face. Cathy and Gwen nodded their heads in understanding.
