The dungeon is no stranger to a former antagonistic boss like Edna Schnee

Edna wiped the tears in the corner of her eyes, seeing Jeffrey with the Duchess reminding her when she first woke up in her present life. The girl smiled faintly without saying anything

The duke clucked, turning to a knight assigned to guard the door of his wife's room. "Hey, you. Take Jeffrey back to his room and make sure he doesn't leave the room until there's another order from me"

"Okay, sir" the knight replied and grabbed Jeffrey's hand. And before the boy was brought back to his room, the Duke said,

"And you're Jeffrey, I'll call off your engagement to that girl as soon as your mother's condition stabilizes"

Jeffrey replied without turning his head, "That will never happen. Because mom's gonna get well and Edna's gonna marry me, so you better apologize when I find her later"
