SIMPLE HAPPINESS

Maura stood gawking at the paper bag lined up to fill the living room, in the middle of which there was David holding Elio asleep.

"What's this?"

"It's Elio's little groceries today!" Reply David lightly glanced at the paper bag beside him.

So David stopped his steps.

Just then David's tears flowed, slowly turning to look at Maura's back.

"Then can you please explain why you just left me?" David asked with tears growing.

Maura's gaze was sad, if remembering the reason for his departure then his hatred for David was so great. But that night somehow her hatred was slightly disguised when she saw David's cry. But it did not make Maura open her mouth but rather gripped the end of her clothes.

David followed the view on his grip. Although he did not know for sure but he understood a little if the reason for his departure was not as simple as he had thought all along. Maura might have been under a lot of pressure back then.

"If I'm guilty, I'm sorry! But for God's sake I never intended to leave you!" David's words along with his teardrops drenched his face, then turned to leave Maura.

For the first time after 6 years of suffering, David said sorry. Maura simply closed her eyes while swallowing the bitter-tasting saliva upon hearing David's apology.

Although he did not forgive just with one word of apology but slightly relieve the pain in his heart. He is also still confused with David who always says if he never wants to lose them. What about 6 years ago? Maura is again in a dilemma.

Both beautiful mothers are now sitting in a cafe around school. Both held drinks in their hands.

Instantly Valen flinched, his heart agitated but tried to suppress his emotions. Compared to Maura, she is much more lonely and unhappy because she is in a circle of luxury but the emptiness of the heart never even gets the affection of a wife.

"Our family has been quite harmonious since Athar's birth!" His lie smiled again and Maura smiled and gulped down her drink.
