"Dad! Mama!" giovan said when he saw his parents making out on the sofa. He had seen her many times at home, but every time he saw her he felt his eyes had been stained.

Dad Mikael, who was holding Mom Daniela, stopped his activity and turned to his eldest son.

"Have you come home?" dad asked Mikael and guiltlessly resumed his activities with Mom Daniela.

"Why are you coming? Are you going to re-force me to accept the matchmaking?" ask Giovan.

Mom Daniela got up from her husband's lap and walked over to Giovan.

"Darling, forgive Mommy for forcing yourself into an arranged marriage. But this is all Mom did for you. Do you know the rumors that are growing out there?"

"I don't care, Mom. Something that's just a rumor, shouldn't be trusted and affect our lives" Giovan said.

"Mom knows, but Mom thinks of you."

"I can find my own partner, Mom. This is no longer the time of Siti Nurbaya. Are you sure my life would be better if I married a woman I don't know? I don't even know what his face is" Giovan said once again.

"Would you consider it if we showed you the picture?" ask Mom Daniela.

"Mom!!"

"Here you go, baby, don't force it again. Let her find her own partner, we just have to support her."

"Then what about our candidate? He'll be disappointed again and assume we're just playing them."

"Calm down, Mr. Stanley will understand" said Dad Mikael to his wife's comfort.

"If Dad and Mom are done, can you leave me? I'm gonna need some alone time" Giovan said.

Dad Mikael got up from his seat. He immediately took his wife out of his son's apartment. He would take Daniela to the hotel and spend their long night.

Arriving in Jakarta, Lynn headed straight to the hospital where Mom Jane was treated. He got the full information from his best friend, Dennis.

He paused and fell silent for a moment in front of a VIP room and adjusted his breathing. He opened the door slowly.

"Lynn," Dad Stanley who saw Lynn's arrival immediately stood up and hugged his daughter.

"How's Mom doing?" ask Lynn when she sees Mom Jane sleeping.

"Mommy is just a bruise and a sprain, but for a while it has to be treated because there is swelling in the legs" Dad Stanley explained.

"Dad, I'm sorry" Lynn said, hugging her.

"The Dad should be apologizing. Sorry for forcing our will."

Lynn shook her head. He knew that his parents only wanted the best for him. It's just that he still wants to be free and still wants to reach his ideals.

After she finished hugging her Daddy, Lynn walked towards her Mommy bed. He saw Mom Jane's leg that looked a little swollen. He sat down on the bedside chair and clasped her hand tightly.

Dad Stanley approached her and stroked Lynn's hair and kissed her head.

"Why did Mommy fall, Dad?" ask Lynn.

"Dad doesn't know, it's just that these few days Mommy's always asking about your whereabouts. Maybe Mommy really misses you."

Guilt immediately enveloped Lynn. He closed his eyes because he had made his Mommy worried.

Giovan could not close his eyes. He always imagined the incident last afternoon where he smashed Lynn's lips that felt very sweet and made his heart beat fast.

He held his lips and repeated the incident in his memory. Unknowingly he hugged the pillow and kissed back, as if the pillow he was holding was Lynn.

Giovan's phone he put on the nightstand vibrated. He picked up the phone and saw who called him the other night.

Giovan's feelings become mixed. His heart was beating fast again. Hanpir never contacted Alexa, but this time ....

"Sister! Ii'm sorry. I accidentally told Uncle and Aunty that I met you. Have they met you?:

Giovan breathed. Now he knows where his parents knew where he was from. What Giovan doesn't know, however, is that both of his parents just pretended not to know and let him be free for a moment.

"Aren't you mad at me?"

"Of course not, I'm not mad at you."

Alexa's words immediately touched his heart. If Alexa did not have a boyfriend at this time, maybe she would just come to the girl and hug her.

Giovan opened the nightstand drawer that was right next to his bed. He pulled out an envelope with the logo of a hospital on the top of his left.

Silently, Giovan had a thorough medical examination. There he found out that he had a hormonal disorder in which he had infertility. That doesn't mean he can't have children, it's just that he'll have trouble getting them.

He sighed softly and put the envelope back in the drawer. This is one of the reasons he did not want to get married. He does not want to burden his partner with his condition. Seeing Alexa who really likes small children, surely Alexa hopes to have her own children, moreover she already has a lover that can be said to be much more perfect than her.

Her memory goes back to Lynn. He took his breath back slowly. He also did not want to make Lynn as an escape because honestly his heart is still tethered to an Alexa.

Before long, Giovan was asleep while holding a phone where there are photos of Alexa on the screen.
