CHAPTER 19. THE POWER OF LIGHT AND BLACK MAGIC

"you humans, I will kill all of you for disturbing me" said the cursed spirit

The damned spirit then gave off an extremely powerful dark aura, and then came a bunch of roots standing up that were creeping towards Emily. The roots of the stand try to catch Emily and try to destroy her body but luckily Emily can avoid the entire attack despite getting a little wound

"as expected of a mid-level spirit, he is much stronger than any spirit he has faced before" Emily said

"i will avenge the animals you have wounded and I will avenge them many times over to you humans" said the cursed spirit

"it looks like he's been through something really heavy and maybe because of that he can't get through his reversing cycle" Emily thought

Meanwhile, the woman from the sacred temple who was holding the wolf creatures by freezing them began to run out of energy and was not strong to hold the wolf creatures and told Emily to immediately defeat the cursed spirit

even so Emily could not defeat the cursed spirit in a short time because defeating spirits was something that was quite difficult if they were middle-level spirits as well as high levels especially if they became spirits damned then it will become even harder to defeat them

"can't you hold it any longer?" ask Emily

"impossible, my strength is no longer strong and I can't hold it any longer" the woman replied

With no other choice, Emily is forced to use her black magic and has Emily tell her to use the power of light to keep her from being affected by her black magic

it is true that both of these are very large powers but in using these powers have their respective risks be it black magic or light power

The power of light also has a level and usually if you want to use a high level of light power whose power is very large there must be a risk borne and to use such enormous power usually has to sacrifice members their bodies or their lives, as well as black magic

"can you use the power of your light to protect yourself?" ask Emily

"how did you know I had the power of light?" said the woman who was surprised

"it doesn't matter now, because I'm going to use very high magic so I hope you don't get hurt because of that" Emily said

"but what about yourself, are you gonna be okay? also my strength is not enough to use the power of light" the woman said

"i knew it would be difficult because your strength was a little but try and not have to worry about me because the magic that will be used will not affect me" said Emily who tried to convince the woman

"well, I'll try it" said the woman

The woman then used all her remaining power to make a shield as Emily said, after she finished making a shield from the power of light to protect herself. Emily then prepares to use her black magic
