Ice Princesses

Ice Princesses
Finding Plants#2

Letticia walked about to enter the sacred temple. Maybe he could get a little information about the white tree here. White is the symbol of purity. Someone might know about the tree.

"What do you need to do in?" ask guards.

"I want to ask you a few things. Let me in" replied Letticia.

"Hm we should ask the master teacher first."

The two guards entered the temple. Letticia was waiting outside. He was not angry that the guard would not allow him to enter. Unnecessary people cannot enter. Even though she was a princess, she had to keep the rules. Letticia should set a good example for her people. She was determined to be a good queen.

An old man with a beard approached Letticia. It seemed like that man was the master teacher of this temple.

Letticia slightly bowed in salute to the old man, "Greetings, my name is Letticia Chandealer. And I just want to ask you a few things."

"Son, how about you just stay here? Looks like you're a wanderer. I will accept you as my disciple," the great teacher bargained. He felt sorry to see a child of Letticia's age wander alone in this cruel world.

"I accept the goodwill, sir. But I'm fine like this" Letticia replied. He was quite impressed with how kind and friendly the teacher was.

"Alright if that's your choice," said the master teacher, "Let's go in."

The old man took Letticia into the temple. The two of them sat on a wooden chair with a table in the middle. A child who seemed to be one of the students of the teacher served tea and cookies.

"So, what do you want to ask?" asked the old man while sipping his warm green tea.

"I just wanted to ask about the white tree," Letticia replied.

"I have very little information about the tree," said the master teacher. He's telling the truth.

"What's wrong. I need it so much."

The great teacher began to explain what the white tree knew.

A white tree is a tree with only one in the world. Some say that there were two, but the other was never found. Each tree is guarded by seven fairies.

10 Years ago, a traveler somehow managed to find a white tree. Then he picked some leaves from the tree and took them.

A year later, a red fever appeared. The disease is quite rare, but the cure has not yet been found. The younger brother of the wanderer also got this disease. The traveler tried to make medicine from everything in his house, including the leaves of a white tree.

The wandering sister was able to recover. The traveler noted the ingredients needed to make a red fever remedy.

The traveler once told about the discovery of a white tree to his sister. Their conversation was overheard by one of the neighbors. But he did not care about it and thought the white tree was just a fairy tale made by the traveler for his sister. After the traveler died, the neighbor realized that the story was real.

The neighbor told his descendants about the white tree and hoped that one day someone would find it.

"And I was the neighbor's grandson," said the professor.

"really? Where is the white tree?" ask Letticia.

"The white tree is at the top of an iceberg that touches the sky" replied the master, "That is what my grandmother told my father, and my father told me."

Letticia mangosteen understand. Maybe this clue is enough to search for a white tree. But where is the iceberg touching the sky?

"You should thank me. I didn't tell everyone about this," the master teacher joked with a laugh.

"Thank you, master teacher," Letticia bowed, "If you may know, why did the master teacher tell me so easily?"

"Because I feel there is something special about you," replied the master teacher, "My instincts are never wrong."

Letticia laughing. The teacher's instincts are correct.

Letticia thought hard. Icebergs that touch the sky? Is there such a mountain in this world?

"There are only 3 icebergs in the world. Mount Harvemort in Morton kingdom, Gargleye mountain in Ye kingdom, and Chankai mountain in Chaka kingdom" Letticia muttered. He sighed, "But none of them touched the sky."

The highest of the three mountains is Chankai mountain and the lowest is Gargleye mountain. But Mount Chankai did not touch the sky.

"Geez, it seems like I'm hallucinating" Letticia said as she looked at her father and biological mother in the corner of the room. Maybe this is the effect of longing because they saw their painting a few days ago.

"Awhile... Illusions?"

Letticia daydreamed for a moment. It seems like he found a bright spot of this matter.

"Really! It seems like it's just an illusion!" he exclaimed happily, "I must go to Mount Chankai now."
