Morning at Morton's palace. Everyone is busy with their activities and tasks. Aldrian was also busy with various documents that had to be taken care of and signed. Today there were also some meetings, where he had to take important decisions. But every time they made a decision, they would also ask Letticia for her opinion through a magic stone that could be used to chat like a phone.

"Is the document always this much?" Aldrian lamented. He works alone without anyone helping.

Aldrian hopes Letticia will not be married for too long after being crowned queen. Being the leader of the country is a tough task. But if Letticia married a king or prince who would occupy the throne, then Letticia would move to her husband's country and become queen there. That's when there's a chance there'll be a usurpation for the throne.

"Patience, Your Majesty," said Stevan, Aldrian's assistant, trying to console Aldrian who looked like he wanted to die.

Aldrian sighed for a moment, then returned to his work. He used to think the job of a leader wasn't so difficult. It was harder than he thought. Aldrian did not want Letticia to take the throne. Not out of bad intentions, he was just worried that Letticia could not accept all of this.

Aldrian was on Letticia's side. He was trusted by the king and queen to protect their daughter. Aldrian has always protected Letticia wholeheartedly. In fact, he placed some special knights in MMS, although it seems that Letticia did not need it all this time.

One thing Letticia did not know, Aldrian always loved her. He was willing to protect Letticia with all of his body. Although it was a bit sick because the person he loved did not even realize it, but Aldrian did not care. Love or true love is when you love someone unconditionally. No need to pay attention or reply. Being around her makes you happy. And you are willing to accept him for who he is, to be with him in joy and sorrow, and to love him forever.

Stevan only stared at Aldrian who was daydreaming for a moment. But he did not rebuke Aldrian, knowing that doing all this work alone was very difficult. Stevan has seen Aldrian several times staying up late to finish his work. He is alive, grateful.

"Sir, what will you do after the princess ascends the throne?" ask Stevan.

Aldrian thought for a while then replied, "Most likely, I will return to being the princess knight. Even now I am still looking for it. But I can't protect the princess at all times because it's busy with work."

Stevan breathed. It seemed like Aldrian really had no intention of accepting any of the proposals that came his way. The letters are piled up in the warehouse. Aldrian did not want to throw it away, as he still appreciated the girls' intentions.

Because of his good looks and greatness, many girls like Aldrian and want to be his wife. But Aldrian's heart he didn't give to any of them. Only one person deserved his heart, and Aldrian had to think about that person carefully.

"Do you have no intention of getting married?" stevan asked carefully.

Aldrian raised an eyebrow and answered briefly, "No."

"Ah, well," said Stevan disappointedly.

"Are you planning on setting me up?" aldrian asked with a suspicious look.

"There's-there's no way I'd dare to do such a thing," Stevan replied frantically.

Aldrian's laughter made Stevan stroke his chest. This master was indeed happy to make Stevan nervous and play tricks on him. But Aldrian is not evil. He's just a prankster.

"Do you like the princess?"

After asking the question, Stevan was surprised by himself. What'd he say? How could he say such a thing? Ala she reflexively said what had been on her mind all this time?

Aldrian quiet. The mood changed gripping. Stevan was nervous, afraid that Aldrian might punish him.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Eh?"

"I like it."

Stevan just gawked. Is this true? He's not dreaming, is he? Stevan slapped himself to believe this wasn't a dream.

"Don't slap yourself. You look stupid doing it" Aldrian said.

"Ah, sorry."

The atmosphere of the room was awkward. Aldrian meets red. He wasn't even fully aware when he answered Stefan's question honestly. It's mortifying.

Fortunately, someone knocked on the door and told Aldrian to attend a meeting with Stevan to accompany him. The two of them immediately went to the meeting, although the atmosphere between them was still awkward.

On the way, Aldrian approached Stevan and whispered, "Please keep it a secret."

Stevan looked at Aldrian. He laughed and said, "Haha of course, sir. I'll keep it a secret."

"Thank you."
