Seen as people were very crowded in my house, the neighbors and friends of Mother and relatives came to help prepare my wedding with Adithya.

It seemed all very crowded chairs and the guest table was prepared with a guarantee where Adithya and I sat there while watching guests come to our party.

"Son, what are you doing?"

A middle-aged woman came up to me no other than my own mother.

"Oh, I'm just helping people, Mom," I replied.

"You don't have to do it."

"Why Ma'am?" My toot. "And they look so exhausted."

I just shook my head and said:

"Honey, you're the Queen here for one night. So, everybody does this because they like to do it," while rubbing my head.

"Stop Mom, I'm bored" I said.

"When you're bored, you go and play with the other kids."

After Mom said that, she wanted to leave me and I immediately held her back for asking something:

"Mom, Papa, where have you been, I haven't seen her since?"

"Your father, go with Adit to prepare something else for the marriage of the two of you" replied Mother.

"Then I'm with Papa" I said.

Suddenly Mom pinched my nose and said:

"I told you, you're the Queen here and a Queen can't get out of her palace before the King comes to pick her up."

After saying so, Mom went and left me alone.

"Heh. I'm really tired of being alone in a mulu's room" I said as I opened the window to see the scene.

While looking around, I saw Siti and Iwan as well as the neighboring children playing cheerfully.

"Time doesn't feel yes, but I used to play down there like them. Now suddenly proposed and prepared to live independently with my husband later."

As I watched them play, I smiled to see them. Suddenly someone knocked on my door.

Geck... Geck... Geck...

"Yes in" I said.

Someone very familiar to me entered my room.

"Dear, it's been a while."

"Santi!"

I was shocked and immediately ran to hug her because I hadn't seen her for a long time.

"Hehe, I can finally see you again" I said with tears in my eyes.

"Loh.k kok nangis, you should be happy dong," said Santi.

"Hmm" shaking his head. "No, I'm happy, but.. how did you know I was getting married?"

"I heard from Uncle Ari (My Father) that you are getting married" replied Santi. "I'm on vacation, so there's still plenty of time to be here."

"So, are Uncle and Aunt here too?" My toot.

Santi is my only cousin, his father a sibling of Papa and a single sibling mother so not a relative of him here. I rarely saw him again, because he went with Uncle and Aunt abroad and he went to school and college there.

"So, it's Siti and Iwan, they've grown up huh."

We used to spend a lot of time together and I've thought of him as my own brother.

"So how's your guy, does he look?" Santi asked with a little teasing.

I just nodded, embarrassed to answer.

"Hehe~, you really haven't changed huh," he said as he rubbed my head.

"When you do, is there a guy you like?"  My toot.

"Hmm, actually there is no one yet" replied Santi.

"Heh, are you so beautiful, surely many men want to be with you,"

"Yes, there's a lot of people who want to be like me. But, they approached me just to satisfy themselves, no matter how I felt. It's hard, looking for a guy who wants to be serious with you" he said, showing a bitter smile.

I was sad to hear it while putting on a sad face as well.

"Come on, don't put that face on."

"Stay.you, hiks..," I said as I let out tears.

"Ush.. ush... already..," while rubbing my head. "There's a time when I too will be like you, able to meet good men and get married."

We chatted all the time.

Evening has arrived...

I was bathed in flowers and jasmine, it was my mother who bathed me.

"Son, now you're like jasmine now" said Mother.

I'm confused what he meant by that.

"The woman should be like a little jasmine, fragrant, clean and white that signifies chastity," she continued.

Now that I understand why Adithya said that jasmine is suitable for me, I was immediately embarrassed when I remembered the incident.

After the bath I was taken straight to my room and prepared to wear a wedding dress. After rinsing and preparing for quite a while, I was finally able to get out of the room.

I saw Adithya already wearing her bridal outfit and sitting next to her, to be honest I was very embarrassed when I was next to her.

We carry out some of the indigenous traditions of the region in our area, after carrying it out. Adithya and I are welcome to come out to greet the guests, we sit down.

Me and Adithya really look like the King and Queen sitting on his throne, staring at his people.

"Hey, after all this, I want us to have five children" whispered Adithya.

When I heard it I was so embarrassed and it felt like my cheeks were hot, Adithya just laughed at me like this.

I hope this happiness lasts a long time, because it's a happy beginning for me.

This innocent girl did not know that this was a happy beginning for her as well as the man sitting beside her was a very sad ending for her.
