Because of the divorce, Arga wants to discuss custody. He and Agni were outside the house. Talk about everything at lunch time.
"I want to talk about custody. You-you think"
"I'll give up!" cut Agni.
"You mean?" Arga demands answers.
"I will let Rasya and our second child come with you" Agni explained.
The pupils of Arga's eyes are enlarged. He knew that Agni was not good at taking care of children, but Arga did not expect his wife to make such a decision. I don't know what kind of mother Agni is. From the beginning, she loved her career more. No wonder Arga became a person closer to Rasya.
"Is that the reason you want to get divorced after giving birth?" guess Arga.
"I'm not good at taking care of children. Rasya is even closer to you. He will choose you! I get to see them once in a while, right?" agni Response.
Arga. "I didn't expect we could handle custody this easily" he commented. Still not believing.
"You're an obstetrician. I'm sure you'll understand a lot more about children" Agni said. He seemed to be enjoying the meal. Due to her old pregnancy, Agni always wanted to eat a lot.
"Yes, I'm a gynecologist. But you're the mother of our children. As far as I know, a mother is closer to her child than anyone else" Arga said.
"Then in my case it's different. Do you know how hard I tried to get close to Rasya? On several occasions I tried to play with him. But he still likes you better!"
"That's because you took a little time for her. If you do it every day, Rasya will definitely feel close to you."
"That's it. We better see the truth. Rasya is closer to you. Take care of him and his brother as best you can. You don't mind, do you?" Agni spoke while holding her stomach.
"I have absolutely no problem getting custody of our two children. But I want to make sure you don't regret this decision." Arga spoke seriously.
Agni smiled knot. "The thing I regret the most is spending half of my life with you. I shouldn't have been tempted by you and remained a career woman" she added.
Jem!
Agni's words hit Arga's feelings strongly. It's painful to hear that from someone who wants to be trusted. Whereas Arga always considered Agni as his soul mate.
Arga can only be silent. He drowns his anger well. Arga enjoyed lunch so as to take his mind off.
...***...
There's something troubling Arga in the middle of the night. The open window of the room.
The window curtains fluttered following the incoming night wind currents. Seeing that, Arga rushed to close the window. His attenuation should be fixed on the figure of a familiar man standing outside. He is none other than Senopati.
"Change?" The pupils of Arga's eyes are enlarged.
"Come down! We have to talk" Senopati said softly. But Arga could hear him clearly.
Arga according to. He immediately met Senopati. They both spoke in the backyard. On a bench near a mango tree.
"What are you doing here? Didn't I and Laras pay you the house you wanted?" ask Arga.
"Yes, you paid me. But you stopped performing the ritual" Senopati said. He had been emitting a serious aura. Keep staring ahead.
"We stopped because there was no point in continuing. My household and Laras are a mess" explained Arga.
"I knew. But one of you went and ran away from the consequences!" senopati
"You mean?" Arga frowned.
Senopati finally looked at Arga. "Street goes without giving me the end of the ritual!" emphatically.
"The end of the ritual?" Arga demands answers.
"Don't I have said this before?!" Senopati.
Arga finally remembered what would happen if he and Laras stopped performing the ritual. If Arga returns impotent, then the barrel automatically returns barren. It also means that the fetus in the womb of the barrel must die.
"Tell me where did Laras go? Dedemit black lake is very angry and wants a fetus in the womb Laras soon!" senopati.
Arga shakes. "I don't know where he's going. I haven't even contacted him in a long time. The barrel number is no longer active," he responded.
"You better find out where he's going! If not, then your child will be the one to replace it" Senopati threatened.
Arga's eyes are perfectly rounded. "Why is that, Mbah? This is not fair! Don't involve my son!" reject it.
"If you find Laras. Get him to come back here!" Senopati ruled by force.
"But, Mbah-" Arga's words came to a halt as he looked towards Senopati. He was shocked that the old man had already disappeared.
