Arga's life took place quietly during his stay in Paris. He became even closer to Rasya. Arga tried to be there for the son at all times.
Now it's been two weeks Arga is working at a top hospital in Paris. He also started to find new friends there.
Arga's phone suddenly voiced a notification. He finds that tomorrow is Rasya's birthday. A smile instantly expanded on Arga's face. He plans to make something special for his beloved son.
"Maybe this year would be nice if celebrated festively" Arga murmured. He immediately opened the internet and searched for the best cake shop for Rasya's birthday.
A cake shop named Almond caught Arga's attention. He saw that the cake shop got the best reviews on the internet. Especially his latest cake.
After returning home from the hospital, Arga went to an Almond pastry shop. The bell clinks when he opens the door.
Arga's attention was directed toward a woman who was standing on her back. She seemed to be busy with the baby in the car.
"Excuse me?" said Arga.
The woman turned her body. "Yes... Is there anything that can-" he said that immediately paused when watching the figure of Arga. How not? That woman is none other than the Baras. He was shocked to see Arga in front of his eyes.
Just like Laras, Arga was shocked as well. His pupils are enlarged.
Time seems to stop. Arga and Laras are glued to each other in one second.
"Arga.." - Lirih Laras did not believe.
"Wheel... How'd you... Aren't you in London?" Arga was confused as to what to say.
Having not seen each other for a long time, Laras and Arga decided to have a chat. As the person in charge of the store, Laras makes drinks for Arga.
"It's hot coffee for you." Laras came to bring drinks for Arga.
"Thank you" said Arga. He also sipped coffee made Laras for a moment.
Along with that, there was the sound of baby crying. Laras rushed to take care of the baby. "Wait a minute" he said, as he was seen sprinting toward the pram.
Arga watched where Laras went. He saw the woman coming back while holding the baby.
"Is he your son?" ask Arga.
"Yes. Her name is Adella" Laras replied, sitting across the table from Arga.
"She's so beautiful" praised Arga. He moved to sit near the barrel. Watching Adella closely.
Arga knows very well that Adella is also his son. He was happy that the boy looked so healthy and beautiful.
"May I carry it?" ask Arga.
"His eyes are very similar to yours" added Laras. The words prove that he did not dismiss Arga as Adella's real father.
Arga smiled hearing that. She immediately looked at Adella's face and said, "Adel also has your pretty lips."
The complimentary chatter ended with a small laugh of Arga and Laras. The existence of Adella makes both of them forget to ask about each other's lives for a moment.
Silence enveloped the atmosphere. Until Arga finally said, "I thought you were in London. Did you just move here?"
"From the beginning I was here, Ga. I was forced to lie to everyone for Adella's sake" Laras responded with a bow of his head. He felt guilty for lying to his parents.
"You're a great mom. Adella is so lucky to have a mother like you. His fate is different from my second child" said Arga, who recalled the death of his second child.
Widened eyelids, "Your second child? What happened to her?"
"He died while still in Agni's stomach. Because of that, Agni was getting angry with me. He blames me for everything that happened to him" explained Arga at length.
"Ja-so you and Agni..." Laras could not finish his sentence.
"We've separated. Now Rasya and I are trying to start a new life here. I feel relieved when everything is going better than before" said Arga.
"I'm sorry... That must be hard for you." Laras empathizes with what happened to Arga.
"You too. We both went through difficult things because of the ritual," Arga replied. She kept swinging Adella in her arms. The baby slowly fell asleep.
Unknowingly, Laras shed his tears. Hurriedly he removed the clear liquid that had dripped. His mouth immediately developed a smile.
"Yes, we shouldn't have to do something that close. But on the other hand, I feel grateful to be able to have a child born from my own womb" Laras said.
"You look better now, Laras.." commented Arga.
Laras smiled again as he looked at Adella who was asleep. "You seem like an expert at putting babies to sleep. Look Adella's been sleeping well" he said.
"I am an expert in taking care of children" said Arga. He handed Adella over to Laras. Excuse me for a moment to put Adella back in the pram.
Arga follows Laras. He looked in all directions. When he saw the cake lined up in the glass cupboard, then he remembered his main purpose of coming to the store.
"I want a cake for tomorrow" Arga said.
"Ah, sure. What kind of cake do you want?" laras Response.
"I want a very special cake for Rasya's birthday" Arga said.
"OKAY. I will do my best with my magical hand" said Laras confidently. He and Arga smiled at each other in shame. In fact they were both happy with the unexpected meeting right now. The longing they want to throw away is not supported by destiny.
