This morning Olyn was having breakfast with Jona's family. Although Jona was also Sultan at a young age, she still lives with her parents. Not that he couldn't afford to buy a house, but he was still comfortable living with the family.
Mama, papa, and little sister Jona are at the dinner table. Olyn was a little awkward being in the middle of that family.
"Jona, have you told Olyn about who you are?"
Madam Artur asked and split the silence between them. As well as making sure what Jona really keeps his promise to be honest about it.
"Ma .."
Mr. Artur tried to warn his wife not to discuss the matter before Jona himself discussed it. Worried if Jona talked to his wives about it.
"Papa mama take it easy, I told Olyn about it."
"Really?"
"Hm."
Madam Artur looked towards Olyn and the woman reviewed the smile as if it was no big deal to her. Instead of not being happy, he just felt strange why Olyn could be so feminine.
"I'm not sure he can be that easy to accept Jona's sister. There must be something she's after Jona's sister" said Eleanor, Jona's sister.
The teenage girl who was still in college chimed in while raising a look of disbelief at Olyn.
All pairs of eyes were now on Elea, then turned to Olyn. Calmly and casually Olyn replied to Elea.
"I'm not as bad as you think, sister-in-law. It's not me that's bad, it's probably your mind" said Olyn to make Elea feel upset at him.
"If it's a woman who wants to marry Jona because of her property, it's probably not me who's marrying her. But another woman who was once her lover" Olyn replied again.
Madam Artur admonished her daughter subtly to no longer say anything that provoked debate. However, Elea did not heed her mother's reprimand.
"I'm just curious, ma. What is the reason he wants to marry Jona's sister other than for her property? Are you not curious either?"
Elea's sentence just caught Artur's attention. Likewise with Madam Artur who was affected.
Madam Artur was now looking at Olyn's face with curiosity.
"really. So what's the reason you can be that easy to accept about Jona's problem?"
All eyes are back on Olyn. Jona looked at Olyn who was sitting next to her with curiosity, if Olyn would tell the truth. He hoped Olyn would not say it now. Because they can't accept that. Even if it was something fair to him.
"For me, it doesn't matter. It's destiny and we can't leave someone behind just because of their flaws. Because we as humans must have their own shortcomings. It's unfair to leave someone out just because of imperfections they don't even want. I know he's not perfect, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be happy" Olyn replied.
For Madam and Mr. Artur that reason is quite logical and easy to understand.
However, Elea is still convinced that there is one reason Olyn has why she can easily accept her brother. Because many women who retreated after knowing the condition of her brother.
Jona can breathe a sigh of relief because Olyn is not telling the truth now. It is not the right situation to talk about a serious problem.
Elea could only grumble inwardly. He thought she would be cornered by his question. But his sister's wife is good at giving answers. Apparently he had to be careful of the woman.
