The Humiliation of the Baron Knight

All night Duke Elios drank wine to make his heart feel relieved, but his heart felt tight. "No, I can't love her. Yeah, all this is just me feeling sorry." Duke Elios said as he dropped his head and stared blankly.

"Your Majesty, it's time for His Royal Highness Duke to get ready to go to Prince Oskar's engagement.

"Well, I'll get ready to pick up Caroline." Duke Elios said, Go.

When it was finished, Duke Elios headed to Caroline's house. Arriving there, he saw Caroline who had finished getting ready with a green dress.

"Caroline, Your Highness the Duke is waiting for you" said Aunt Roseline.

Caroline turned, "Come uncle." Caroline walked past Duke Elios.

"Uncle," call Caroline who sees Duke Elios still standing and immediately pull the arm of Duke Elios.

Duke Elios held onto his chest, his heart beating increasingly stronger. She looked at Caroline who was beside her. When she saw Caroline coming down, she could not turn her face or blink her eyes. Don't know why? Caroline was so pretty in that dress. Duke Elios put his face back on. She doesn't want Caroline to realize that she's fascinated by Caroline's beauty.

"Damn, what's wrong with me?" duke Elios muttered, turning his face out the window.

"Uncle, uncle drinks wine?" caroline asked as she approached Duke.

"Little boy knows," Duke Elios smiled as he pinched Caroline's nose.

"Is, uncle." Caroline brushed off Duke Elios' hand and stroked his nose.

"Uncle just miss it, it's been a long time Uncle did not drink Wine." Duke Elios smiled, he again felt tightness in his chest after returning to remember about Caroline who was about to get engaged. His eyes re-glazed, immediately he removed the details that would come out of it.

"Uncle why?" caroline asked, looking at Duke Elios' face.

"Uncle is okay, Uncle is just sad you're going to part with Uncle." Duke Elios lowered his head, "Caroline, can you not get engaged." Duke Elios.

Caroline clasped Duke Elios's hand, "Betch yes, Caroline had to be single for life. What a strange request." Caroline chuckled.

Don't tell me you like my inner Caroline listening to Duke Elios' heartbeat.

The horse-drawn carriage arrived in front of the palace gate. Duke Elios looked at Caroline and grabbed her arm. They walked like a couple, many nobles saw her and whispered to see Caroline smiling widely. Some say he is the third person from Duke Elios' relationship with Miss Ariana.

Caroline did not budge, after all her goal was to congratulate Prince Oskar on his engagement.

"His Highness the Duke and Princess Baron Bright have arrived."

Everyone turned his head, he flattered Duke Elios, but felt disgust at seeing Caroline.

All the noble women and noble men were whispering. It was clearly in Caroline's ears. Some say Caroline's a selfless, shameless woman. Luckily, he was raised by Duke Elios. All the gossip he got from the three nobles who were not far from his side.

"Your Royal Highness Duke Elios, let's talk." A male noble looked at Caroline with a cynical look.

"Caroline, don't listen to them." Madam Verland smiled.

"So it was you" Baron Knight was proud that Ariana humiliated Caroline.

Caroline smiled at Prince Oskar, while Prince Oskar looked at Caroline and turned his face away. Not because he hated it, but because he was ashamed of not being able to keep his promise.

Now that the dance show has arrived, Caroline opts out quietly on the front porch. Events that make him cramped and sleepy.

Caroline wants to go home, but sees Duke Elios dancing with Ariana. He couldn't bring her home.

"Dull," Caroline grumbled at the sight around the palace.

"Caroline," said a man approaching Caroline.

"How are you?" asked the man smiling wryly.

"Good, Prince. Em, the Prince is not dancing" Caroline asked without looking into her face.

Unknowingly, a woman pulls Caroline's hand and pushes Caroline violently.

"Based on a despicable woman, how dare you tease her." Shake the woman.

"Anabella, what are you doing?" prince Oskar.

Everyone stopped their dance, turning towards Caroline, Prince Oskar and Anabella. Everyone was whispering about Caroline's name.

Duke Elios ran towards Caroline, he examined Caroline's body and stared intently at her. "What did the Prince do? and you're Miss Anabella. Where's your nobility." Snapped by Duke Elios, his anger could not stand it anymore. He wanted to strangle and chop off his head. Duke Elios is getting more guilty, he shouldn't have left Caroline alone.

"Nor Your Highness the Duke, but this is indeed Miss Caroline's fault. He should have known Prince Oskar was engaged. Misunderstanding is bound to happen." The Baron Knight stared at Caroline.

Caroline gritted her teeth, "Do you want a Baron Knight? are you content to say this, content to hurt me." Caroline clucked her waist. This must have been Baron Knight and his son. His life would never be at peace with regards to those two people.

"And you, Miss Anabella. I never wanted to take Prince Oskar." Jerky Caroline.

"Come on Caroline, we're leaving." Duke Elios holds Caroline's shoulders.

"I will remember this humiliation, Your Majesty." Said Duke Elios.

Emperor Ferdinand and Empress Eveline and Prince Luke were petrified, they had not expected something like this to happen, just as they dug their own burrows. What's more, Duke Elios still has the blood of a palace member.
