Season 2 Part 14
"Please let go of your sister-in-law's hand." please Meyer full of hope. Tears flowed from both eyes. For the umpteenth time the man pleaded with others.
"I will not release him.****** this must be responsible for his actions at the police station." Stevenson said.
Seeing the pale countenance and sincere look in-laws somehow touched Stevenson's heart.
"Alright" Stevenson said at the end. The man took off his grip.
But unexpectedly, Rachel ran towards the highway.
Meyer and Stevenson grinned at Rachel's strange demeanor.
"I'll kill myself if you don't leave Sherin!!!" rachel shouted standing in the middle of the road. The girl spread her arms looking from a distance at a car speeding towards her.
Meyer's heart skipped a beat seeing her daughter's exaggerated actions. He did not want to sacrifice the happiness of his rightful daughter for a daughter who was illegitimate to him. Rachel is his daughter.
The man's face grew pale as the car drove towards his daughter.
"Stevenson please.... For a while." beg Meyer a second time.
"Is papa crazy? we just lost our baby to that woman. Then now Papa let us split up to fulfill that woman's crazy ambition?" annoyed Stevenson stared intently at his in-laws. He did not think through his in-laws.
"For the last time Stevenson. Papa will take good care of your wife. Papa doesn't want Rachel to do anything crazier than before. Because Papa sees the glare of the eye and his nature is very similar to his mother's in the past" Meyer said, wiping away traces of his tears.
"Papa doesn't want Sherin to make a move. It's for your own good." Meyer continued.
"What does Papa mean?" ask Stevenson.
As he wanted to answer the question his son-in-law suddenly heard the sound of a collision
BRACKET....
Meyer's face grew pale hearing the sound of the collision. The middle-aged man then turned his gaze towards the highway. The man saw a crowd of people standing in the middle of the street.
"Rachel.." she softly held back the tightness of her chest.
The man stepped towards the crowd without saying goodbye with his daughter-in-law. Is it wrong if he intends to make his daughter change for the better. Meyer felt guilty because all this time her daughter never felt the affection of a father or a mother. Because Rachel's mother died a few years ago from illness.
Upon arrival there Rachel's body was covered in blood.
"Ra-Rachel.." - Meyer crouched down beside her daughter.
"To-please help me raise my daughter!!" meyer cried out emotionally watching the crowd just crowd together with no intention of helping her daughter.
Shortly after, Richard came into the crowd. The man immediately carried Rachel's body across the street. Because they also happen to be around the hospital.
The ER room
Rachel's been treated by a doctor. The girl lost a lot of blood. Meyer quickly donated her blood to her daughter. Stevenson and Richard were sitting in the waiting chair.
"Why is he doing something crazy again?" asked Richard to start a conversation between them.
"He wanted me to leave Sherin." Stevenson said coldly.
"Why did he become this kind of ambition?" lirih Richard looked at the door of the ER room.
"Love is blind and deaf Rich. Just like how you feel about her. You know he loves other people. But you kept waiting for him. Hoping that one day he will look back at you." Stevenson said staring at the sad face of his best friend.
