Lupe was so shocked to hear Hector's voice right behind him. The woman turned to face her son who was standing while folding both hands in front of the chest.

"Hector, when did you come. Mama misses you, son. It's been a long time since you've visited my mom" said Lupe smilingly about to hug her son's body but Hector avoided.

"Until when is mama still in touch with the bad guy mama! Until when?!", cried Hector in a loud voice.

Instantly the smile on Lupe's face vanished, changing with anger. The large-bodied woman moaned dislikefully accepting Hector's question.

"Until Jose Luis Miguel is put in his rightful place" Lupe responded with mounting anger.

"Mama stop your madness! Realize ma, master Jose is not a bad man as you often say. He's a good guy. Even he still gives me confidence after what we did to him first. Even now, he and his wife are kind to me mama, despite knowing your involvement in some of the cases that happened at the Nasviell plantation they still gave me a place", hector assuredly convinced the mother.

Hearing Hector's words made Lupe speechless. The two stood face to face in Lupe's room.

Both of Hector's hands held Lupe's shoulders, slightly shaking her.

"I beg you to forget your troubles to the Almiron family, ma. Please just listen to me this once. I don't want to lose you. The only family I have".

Hearing Hector's words this time, made the woman sit on the edge of the bed. A moment of pondering over Hector's words just now. Then rubbed his face and bowed.

Hector was silent hearing that. The next second he hugged Lupe tightly.

"Don't think of me, I can take care of myself. What I am worried about is your safety" said Hector as he unraveled his embrace staring fixedly at Lupe's face. Just as Lupe stared intensely at the face of his only son.

"Now tell me who's the guy you called the big boss? Tell me honestly no more lies".

"Mama doesn't know who she really is, Hector. He was called Angel. Mama's sure it's not her real name", replied Lupe quietly.

"Angel?" said Hector repeating Lupe's words.

"Yes. She is a beautiful young woman but very evil. That woman hates Ivana so much, she wants to finish off Miss Ivana–

"Relunk..."

Lupe and Hector were shocked by the sound of the door breaking outside. "Lupeeeee.."

There was a male voice screaming.

"Mama.."

Sontak Lupe stood up and pulled Hector's hand.

"You'd better go now, son. Quick. Congratulations to yourself. They must be Angel's men. If they see your mom with you, they'll take us both out" Lupe said frantically.

"No. We go together".

Lupe framed Hector's face. "Go Hector. Remind your boss of the threat to their safety" whispered Lupe as she pushed her son's body out of the door that was directly connected to the exit.

"But mama–"

Lupe ignored Hector's words, he immediately closed the door and ran to the bathroom not far from where he was now.

Without a second thought the woman turned on the shower and took off her clothes.

"I won't let you hurt my son" Lupe's inner self coincided with a pretty loud bathroom door break.

"Hey...What are you guys doing? Don't you see I'm taking a bath!", cried Lupe resentfully wrapped the towel around her body.

"Where's your son Lupe, where are you hiding him? You don't try to play around", snapped one of the four men standing at the door.

"Don't you see I'm alone, huh? Please search this house if you don't believe it. Hector hasn't been here for a long time" Lupe exclaimed convincingly.

But I saw him here, you can't lie to me" said one of the men.

"How actually? Did you see him, huh? It could be that you're looking at it wrong", said Lupe, staring intently at the man.

Two people seem to be approaching. "He's telling the truth, there's no Hector in this house" one of them said.

"Do you believe it now, Ramirez? I have to take a shower before I see Miss Angel. You guys get out of my room, I have to get dressed", hardik Lupe kicked out the four men who suddenly broke into his house by force. But a smile of victory was implied at the tip of his lips.
