"Come Jerry! Don't stop we have to keep running!" Matilda said as she continued to run in the hands of Jerry her 10-year-old nephew. Jerry ran after his aunt while wiping his wet eyes. The scene shows the dead bodies of papa and his mother being dragged by some people Jerry knows as his papa friend. The sight of that night would never disappear in a lifetime from his memory. Good thing last night Jerry stayed at his aunt's house. If not, maybe Jerry's just staying by name that night.
"A little Jerry! A little more we're up!" His aunt said with breath.
Then they arrived at an unkempt house. The house looks creepy because it looks pitch-black. They both slipped behind the house by sliding the boards surrounding the backyard.
"Tokay! Geck! Geck! Hectors! Hector, are you inside?" Call Matilda to call Uncle Hector while knocking hard on the back door of his house.
The door opened and a 45-year-old middle-aged man appeared burly in a drunken condition. Matilda held Jerry's hand into the house.
"What are you doing night and night coming to my house?" Hector said as he slammed his butt on the rickety sofa. Matilda's cry finally broke as she hugged Jerry who was crying sobbing silently.
"Joni and Rosa are dead, Hec! They killed Gino and his gang!" Matilda answered while crying. Hector fell silent as soon as he heard Matilda's words.
"I'LL KILL THEM ALL!!!" Hector said with staggered steps while opening the closet where he hid his weapon.
"STOP HECTOR! YOU'RE DRUNK! DON'T DO ANY MORE ROGUE!" Matilda said as she pulled the heavy hand of Hector who had taken the Shotgun from her closet.
"Please, take Jerry away from here! Save her! If the herd finds Jerry, he'll be killed just like his parents!" Matilda continued crying and holding Hector's arm. Hector looked at Jerry still crying without a sound. Hector and Matilda then chatted in the kitchen. Jerry was still crying as he leaned against the wall and hugged both of his legs.
"Well, I'll take Jerry away from here!"
"All Jerry's money and your needs will be sent to your account tomorrow, please take good care of Jerry!"
9 Years later...
Jerry was focused on aiming at his target from a distance of 1000 meters, the target at that time was a goat whose neck was cross-marked by uncle Hector. Jerry held his breath as his index finger pressed against his AWM Lapua trigger.
"Twdaaarr!"
The bullet shot as fast as lightning towards the neck of the poor goat. The goat's already marked neck was nearly severed when the bullet tore through its neck.
"Good, Jerry!" Hector said he praised Jerry through Jerry's Handy Talkie.
"It's time to get down from there 20 minutes from now!" Hector said again. Jerry deftly stripped his sniper rifle, not until 2 minutes The rifle was already in Jerry's bag. Jerry ran down the steep hill and then down using Descender which he had mounted on the prusik rope he had installed when he climbed the hill earlier. After getting off using the descender Jerry continued his run towards where his uncle was standing waiting for him. He looked at his watch, the remaining 9 minutes. Jerry dashed past his uncle who was staring at the stopwatch in his hand. "12 minutes!!!" His uncle smiled.
"Let's eat first, I'm hungry!" Hector said while carrying the goat that Jerry shot earlier on his shoulder.
Hector looked at Jerry eating in front of him. This orphaned young man grew up to be a tough young man. A handsome face with a sturdy and stocky body very similar to his late father. His light brown eyes reminded Hector of his late mother Rosa. Today is exactly 9 years, since he and Jerry fled from Jakarta to the city of Jayapura. He taught Jerry his skills. Expertise while he was still joining the Elite army of Denjaka. Close range martial skills, shooting, survival and reconnaissance were already taught to Jerry.
"Jerry, it's time for you to test your skills. Go to this place, say my name when you meet him!" hector said as he threw a business card at Jerry.
"Good, uncle!" Jerry replied while keeping the business card.
"Before you get your revenge, you have to train your instincts and buy new equipment.1-2 years should be enough time to prepare all."
"Ready, uncle!" Answer's short.
3 Days later, Jerry departed by boat from the port of Depapre Jayapura to Jakarta.
"Can I meet Linda's mother? I sent Mr. Hector," Jerry told the housekeeper.
"Just a second!" The man replied while talking to a woman on the intercom.
A man ran from inside the house and approached me.
"Come, come with me," said the man with a flat expression.
I was escorted to the terrace in front of the house.
"Leave your stuff here!" Excite me.
"These things I will carry!" My firmness.
"LEAVE YOUR STUFF HERE!" Clash at me while shaking my waist.
"THESE THINGS ARE GONE. YOU WANT RESPONSIBILITY!" Reply snapped.
"What is this?! Who're you?" Asked the beautiful 35-year-old woman to the man and me.
The man explained to the woman about our problem.
"You're the one Hector sent?"
"Yes, mom! I'm Jerry Manopo."
"Leave us, Hari!" said the woman to the man who drove me. The man also left us.
After introducing myself, the woman explained the work I was going to do. That is escorting his clients who are mostly officials and important people.2 this week I will go through tests to ensure my abilities are in accordance with the standards they want.
2 Weeks passed, and the whole test I passed well. just waiting for my placement will be assigned where.
"Jerry, bring your stuff, too. You're waiting for the boss in the front room!" Mr. Totok said to call me in the room.
After changing clothes and receiving equipment, such as earpieces, pistols, bulletproof vests and Smart phones from Linda's mother, I set off on a car that had picked me up.
"We're going to Bandung, bro?" I asked the driver. He just nodded his head without looking at me.
"Mas, this work has been around for a long time? Doesn't it age?" Ask the driver named Edo with a smile.
"Olderly lumayan, Do. It doesn't mean dear what age is it, bro?" I reply back to ask.
"Mas Jerry's handsome looks, unlike the previous mother's bodyguards. More suitable to be a mas Artist, weigh work like this! many dangers!"
"I'm a tough guy, Do! Just be grateful as long as there is work!"
