"Ouch !" I I cried out in pain as the windstorm that was magically created by the Harpiest creature threw my body with a windstorm, until my body hit the wall in the laboratory cave.
Although I knew that the harpiest had magic power capable of causing wind storms, which were sometimes used to haunt residents or passersby in the Atula Desert feeling like they were hit by a natural disaster, but I did not think that his power was so great. It's very painful. My bones feel like they're going to be dislodged from this body,
In the midst of this misery, I thought that this Harpiest was a windbender.or at least he was a wind summoner instead of magically.
This might not be? He just needs to flap his wings, then the storm winds come and turn into this one natural disaster.
This technique is similar to magic theories that say that this ability called Chakra is performed by a group of more than one tailed creatures or called Hokou. The creature masters the wind element or the wind chakra. This was a different action and ability to wind summoning magic.
My mind works fast. I have to find a way out to get out of this storm.
"It's not too late !"ingenious me.
Wasn't this similar to the theory that befell a sorcerer in general? When we spend too much energy to make one magic action, automatically our magic energy will eventually be empty, exhausted and it will take a long time to restore all that energy.
"Unless he has liquid Elixir !" my thinking.
"There's no way he has that thing. Liquid elixir was only sold limited among sorcerers only. Over time this creature will be weak due to the limitations of Elixir"
Desperation turned into a spirit that appeared like a speck of light amidst the darkness.
I patiently waited behind a large concrete table that seemed to be a natural stone carved to resemble an experimental table.
I'm still waiting a little worried.
"When will this windstorm pass?"
It felt like 15 minutes had passed, crawling slowly, for too long and the storm of creation had not subsided.
I began to despair, and thought that perhaps death would pick me up.
"This Atulla Desert is the location of my last adventure as a witch.
I haven't even been anything to death in this fucking desert" I lamented inwardly.
Unexpected and unexpected at all.
Entering the 20th minute after that incredible storm, I felt a change in the wind. The fierce wind that had been blowing like wanting to slice through the flesh in my body, it felt slowly subsiding.
"Good ! It seemed like the creature had run out of magic energy, though,
This is my chance to strike back at him,
I don't want to die silly in the hands of one creature so the events of a failed experiment from a Dark Magus" curse me in the heart.
Between the winds that subsided, I exerted my magic power, flowing into two hands that emitted blue and white light.
"Maybe my vengeance will be worth it" my inner ethic saw the fire burn.
Magic fire is very different from ordinary fire. Magic fire usually kills and even scorches until my opponent's jia will be destroyed.
The situation is now silent and silent. Inside this laboratory cave, I only heard the sound of my heartbeat, pounding waiting for the creature to come in ambush.
I held back, was patient and did not want to make any suspicious sounds. I silently stared at the position of my hand that was ready to throw the Fire Arrow curse.
Dug - dug - dug ... the sound of my heartbeat racing, felt timid in tension.
Not long after I heard a voice like a dragged leg walking into the laboratory cave.
Blam ! That creature !...
I was silent when I saw the figure that appeared before me.
She is a woman whose face is very beautiful odd, yet memorable strange and mystical.
His long black hair was draped all the way to his back with a curl structure.
Her charming face, gave off a sadistic and cruel impression. Its odd appearance is that its beautiful body has a lower part from the waist down to the feet, all are bird-shaped.
Moreover, what fascinated me was his wings. That's the prettiest wing I've ever seen. The color is like a rainbow. Beautiful, charming as well as giving a dangerous impression (i remember the wind storm that made the two wings of the creature!)
While hardening my heart, I snapped at Harpiest.
"So you are a Harpist creature that creates wind storms, up to 3 of my friends have died." said I cynical.
"I knew. Now you're tired and out of magic.
Then don't think that you'll be able to escape from here alive." threatened me
The creature growled like a lion. Weird right? he should have made a sound like a bird, but what appeared was the terrible sound of a lion. I came back to scare the creature.
"Don't you see in both my hands this flame? This is the magic that became my mainstay as a fire summoner.
I raised my two hands, pointing towards the Harpiest, and a blue-white flame formed to resemble an arrow.
It felt like it was ready to be tossed to grill the creature, if he acted in any way. But I still maintain my patience by not throwing that magic fire
There is no need to wait long when I can conclude that all my negotiation actions failed.
I saw the Harpiest growling like a wild creature. His face was fierce, looking terrible.
Now it was no longer a pretty face, it would be the Harpiest but it looked like a female demon who was angry with her evil fangs.
"This thing is so vicious. He had run out of magic energy, but it did not reduce his desire to kill me"
The half-bird creature jumped up and grabbed me quickly using its wings.
His wings instantly turned dangerous with a swift flutter becoming like a double-edged sword.
Obviously I'm not going to let this ridiculous, dead thing just happen. I have hated this creature ever since. He made my whole body hurt and my bones just broke.
Then without the slightest pity, I waved my right hand. My lips began to cast a magic curse.
"Fire Arrow" curse me.
The color of the blue and white flame floated beautifully, looking stunning to the point that Harpiest was stunned, like being awed by that whitish-blue flame.
"It's a chance fire magic kills you" I stared vilely.
What a pity and a pity for that half-bird creature. With a condition that had lost a lot of magic energy, he was nothing compared to the ruthless Fire Arrow Spell which now had 16 explosive points.
I don't know how many times I've witnessed death before my eyes, so I don't feel sorry at all when I hear the screams of pain from the Harpiest creature. When that my magic arrow pierced through his chest, and made a large blackish wound like it was charred.
The harpiest breathed his last even when he did not have the chance to let out a single word, perhaps a regretful word of living life as a damned.
******
I wiped away the sweat that was pouring down my forehead after escaping death, facing off against that Harpiest cursed creature.
"I'm lucky !" my mind is relieved.
Now I looked at the creature that had been lying lifelessly on the floor and began to notice one limb after another.
"What resources can be harvested from this creature?" my inner
I decided to harvest his wings in consideration that I have a diary of the Dark Magus, about the transplant technique. Not to mention I had a transplant spell I bought at The Bazaar of Wonder, at Mr. Hamid's shop.
My heart was overjoyed at the thought that it was not in vain that the 100 ranked Crystal elixir I had used to pay for the transplant spell that I had initially doubted would be of any benefit to it.
I took out a dagger and skinned the back of the hard drive. I took out carefully, the wings attached to the bones on the creature's back.
Luckily at our Dorado Academy, I once learned about the anatomy of the body of living things both humans and other creatures such as bird-hunting types. Of course this made it easier for me to do surgery to harvest the wings of the Harpiest.
I thought hard about what else can be harvested from this creature. Then I decided to take his two legs which were shaped like bird legs and I stored them inside my Space bag.
Maybe one day this thing will be useful whether it will be a magic potion, or become a catalyst for Artifacts and so on.
Even in the worst of circumstances I can sell Harpiest's legs to alchemy shops or on the black market who will certainly appreciate it at a high price.
Time passed, at the end of the night I also finished harvesting resources from Harpiest. Then I decided that that night also had to leave Harpiest's den cave.
Before leaving, I buried the 3 soldiers I hired as a sign of respect. I chose their dining location not far away at the foot of a rock cliff in the wilderness.
While Harpiest's body was to be brought as evidence to the City Lord, Sahireb City in order to claim the prize for the completion of this mission.
Dark night, the Atulla Desert is quiet and desolate. The wind blows slowly adding to the mystical impression on a Cold night.
Towards midnight, which no one knew, was a figure walking the silk path of the Atulla Desert.
Who her? a brave figure walking in the desolate Desert, alone sitting on a mysterious memorable horse.
Maybe if someone saw him it would think that it was a supernatural being or a brave criminal. But the truth is it was me who decided that night also had to go back to the city of Sahireb.
Dark Clouds formed in the sky and it was not an obstacle for me to move back to Sahireb City.
At the end of the morning at about 8 am, the city of Sahireb was seen in front of my eyes.
The city looks like a small town, but it's the city that will pay the mission money and change my destiny to return the continent of Casiopea.
Seriate.
