Lea, The Story of the Magus of the Casiopea Continent
The Sick Fighter

There were more than three merchants displaying people who became their merchandise. There are young women, half old and men who can be used as home workers.

I chose two women whom I would use to power the kitchen and clean the house, and one strong man, whom I would make a gardener.

The selection of those people, of course after first I asked their abilities to the half-old merchant who had a rough appearance. He looked a little suspicious of my appearance wearing a long dark, hooded coat and a piece of cloth partially covering this face.

But when I picked up three people at once, the rude attitude of the merchant instantly turned friendly. When he offered more, I declined his offer.

"No. Now I just need her manpower, if they can be fighters, or at least they can practice martial arts, because I will hire them as my housekeeper later" I told Haseem, the human trafficker.

At the second merchant's place I visited, I was dissatisfied with the fighter offered to me. The man though looks quite young, but I see the condition of his body is not healthy. Maybe he was sick or hurt by something. He just curled up wrapped in a piece of Kumal's blanket, trying to survive the attack of fever that made him shiver.

"I need someone strong. Not a former fighter who was hurt and looked sick like this" I said as I left.

After all, a guard must be strong and healthy, right? I passed by leaving the merchant number two. But just five steps I left the merchant,

Tar - tar - tar !

I heard a loud whip accompanied by the caci maki of the merchant on the fighter who looked sick. My instincts say that the sick fighter is the one who was spanked by the number two trader.

My hands were shaking, my heartbeat was racing faster. I then turned to the merchant earlier, who looked like he was going to swing the third whip at the weak fighter.

"You fucking bearer!

What good are you I keep. No more just spending my money on food.

Look at your weakness, no one wants to buy you. You better die!"

His hands were raised, the whip was waving accompanied by the desperate gazes of the wounded fighter's men. My heart instantly overflowed in anger at the sight of the incident. A blue flame exploded at the end of my finger.

I flicked the blue flames, darting fast like a shadow, perching the snaps at the end of the ferocious merchant's whip. This was a magic fire, of course he worked very fast. There was no need until one blink of an eye, the whip of the hemp rope in the hands of the fierce merchant vanished in eating my magic fire.

"W-what happened?" The merchant's face gawked, surprised by the fact that his whimper vanished from his hands. He didn't even see my magic fire engulf the hemp rope-stringed whip.

He was still in disbelief when he saw the whip of the hemp rope, which was rolled in layers of hemp rope, and inside it was tucked in iron seeds to cause injury effects when the whip was whipped into the object.

The merchant went roaring, looking to see who caused his precious whip to vanish into dust.

Moments later, those red eyes clashed with mine. I saw the merchant's red eyes dim after realizing that I was the one doing the thing until the cemet disappeared.

The bird is quick to blow. Through word of mouth, word got out that a dark-coated woman with a hood, a fire affinity witch, had apparently been heard by this merchant.

Seeing him weaken, I lazily threw the five middle rank Elixir crystals and said,

"Take the man off.

I'll make him a guard in my house!" I said cold.

The face of the evil merchant turned bright, and with a fake he bowed and said..

"Ah... If the lady who wants this slave to be yours, who would dare to refuse?" He released the male fighter, who was hurriedly swept away by Shana and my other two servants.

I caught my glowing eyes as if speaking sincerely, thanking me when the sick fighter was brought by Shana and the two female servants to the carriage of the carriage I rented, to return to Sahireb City.

Seriate.
