Leaning Sweet Me

Leaning Sweet Me
This is reality, not a dream

There is no greater regret in life than to realize someone is valuable, even after someone is gone. Regrets that always come too late, regrets that actually make Doni's life change.

Almost a month Tiwi left him, and since then Doni has become quieter, he does not care about the girls who seek his attention. No more care about women.

"Doni, you're okay, right?"farrel asked as they had just exited the elevator and headed for his room.

Every time he passed the room where Tiwi used to work, Doni always turned his head. Wishing all this was a mere dream, still hoping that he could see Tiwi return and apologize, if necessary he would prostrate himself apologizing.

After a few seconds, Doni walked back, "Hm! I'm fine." she told Farrel.

Farrel nodded, then they entered the room.

"Go find a girlfriend! Let your life get excited again."

"You are like fathers! I'm not interested in finding a girl!" he said with ketus.

Farrel sighed, he was concerned about the state of Doni, who continued to lament his state and regret.

"Tomorrow I'll go to Andra's school, to attend her graduation, I want you to come along" Farrel said.

Doni was sitting in the chair in front of Farrel, he checked some of the files that had been piled up.

"No thanks I had an appointment with someone."

Farrel held back the file that he was going to carry by hand, "Really? With who? Man or woman."

Doni narrowed his eyes, "Why are you so curious?"

Farrell shook his head, "I just want to know, you're still normal or not! You're just playing with your weird friends."

"Choco pie, panthera, tea cooljack, ono tuh" Farel clucked.

"Lucianos...."

"Well that!" he flicked his hand.

Doni put the file he was going to check on on his desk, then threw himself in the chair.

"That's the name of the account, where there are those who use the full name according to the birth certificate. You only know the funding, how to know about the thrill of having a name account."

"Heh black ... Did you underestimate me?"

"Call the right one! black roses. Black ... Black you think I'm a dog!" said Doni with sewot.

Farrel chuckled, it felt like they had not joked like before, their busyness that makes them rarely have a relaxing time like before.

"What if we go to college tomorrow? I want to extend my leave!" Said Farrel with eyebrows going up and down.

Doni clucked, "When I want to finish my studies later this year, if you extend it again, that means I have to take time off."

The door opened, Metta entered the room,

"El .. You're okay, right?"

Farrel nodded, "Just need a little hug."

Doni who heard it just rolled his eyes lazily, while Metta narrowed her eyes and closed the door.

"You're all there is!"

Farrel chuckled, "Is it time to take the medicine?"

"Huum .." he said by handing over some vitamins and also drugs to reduce nausea prescribed from the doctor.

Farrell threw out his hand, and drank it all at once. "Have you taken any medicine?"

"Of course, how could I have forgotten myself!" he handed her a bottle of mineral water.

Metta's pregnancy has reached nine weeks, but did not feel any symptoms, even nausea though, in contrast to Farrel, he said, until now he often feels nauseous even though it is not as severe as a month ago.

Doni, watching them from behind, felt his heart ache a little, if time could be turned, perhaps things would be different, and now not only Farrel and Metta were happy, but he and,

Jesus, Tiwi forgive me. To this day I still wish this was all a dream, you and our son. Forgive me for being such a cowardly man as you say.

Not feeling both eyes sore, and began to blur. He repeatedly breathed heavily.

Metta nudged her husband's arm, with eyes pointing at Doni. He felt bad for Doni.

"Better I come back, Doni may be thinking about Tiwi and her son again, you better entertain him or else El...."

Farrel nodded, "I'll be out for a meeting soon, maybe by going out he can forget for a moment" he said, stroking Metta's stomach.

Metta nodded, "Then I go out first!"

Farrel got up from his seat and clasped his shoulders, "Silver brother, don't move much, don't get too tired da--"

Metta pinched his cheek slowly, "Yes Papa's a bawl."

A few moments later

"It's time for the meeting" said Doni who moved out of his chair.

"Ejected?"

Doni took an ipad containing Farrel's agenda. Then scroll to today's date.

"There are two meetings today, one in the cafe xx area and one in the cafe near here."

Farrel nodded, wearing his suit back."Where are we going?"

"Cafe xx first, they want to advance the meeting today at the request of one of their branch heads. Said their client had rewinded the time to our schedule." said Doni.

Doni shrugged his shoulders, "Maybe afraid of clashes."

.

It took about thirty minutes to get to the cafe in the xx area, Doni drove his car at high speed, several times his client had called him.

"I've just been dealing with a fussy client this time, we've asked for time, those who are advancing it!"

"And we ask for time because it's stuck in traffic, they don't accept it! You're selfish." grumbled Doni.

Farrel was silent beside him.

"Tell them, if you can't wait another five minutes, we'll take another break" said Farrel, who was thinking in silence.

Doni pulled over his car, then typed something on his phone and sent it to the Client number who will do the Meeting this time.

Then he returned to his car. Their distance from the cafe was not far away, before long the car stopped in the cafe parking lot.

Farrel tidied up his clothes, as did Doni, before long they got out of the car and walked into the cafe.

A woman greeted them with a look of contempt. Even before Farrel and Doni sat himself in a chair.

"What is your dedication to the company like?" the woman who welcomed them.

Doni was already grieving, he seemed to want to answer, but Farrel shook his head.

"Sorry, but we've asked for a deadline, because it's stuck in traffic!" farrel said calmly.

The woman looked snorted, "We wait for my boss, he's going to the toilet!"

"Cih, the style alone does not want to wait, but it turns out we are still told to wait too!"doni Cibir.

Shortly thereafter

"Sorry to keep you waiting" said the woman who was allegedly the CEO of the company who will meet with them.

Farrel stood up to greet him, as did Doni who was stunned all of a sudden. When he saw the wsnita yabg in front of him, he smiled and nodded towards them.

Oh, my God, is this a dream?

Even Doni did not stop staring at him. Making his assistant was puffed up and clenched. Then Doni shifted his eyes.

The look in his eyes was the same, his smile, even his haircut, the only difference was that he smiled more and was also friendly.

Farrel had to nudge his best friend's arm a few times, so that Doni refocused on noting the important points. But it seems that Doni even back amazed with the female CEO in front of him.

Until the meeting was finally over, they were talking casually,

"Sorry, can I ask you something?" doni said suddenly.

"Yes...."

"How old are you?"

Unexpectedly the assistant sitting next to him interjected, "Sorry that's the most disrespectful statement!"

Doni nodded, "Sorry, I just want to know,"

The woman pulled her thin lips, "It's fine, then we'll excuse you!"

They finally say goodbye, but the curious Doni catches up with him.

"Wait....!"

The woman turned back, "Why again?"

"Have we met before?"

The woman smiled, "Looks not, excuse me!"

Doni didn't lose his mind, he went back to matching his steps, "But I feel like I already know you."

The woman looked furious, though,

"Stop messing around! I have to get back to work."

"But I'm not messing around, it's like you're no stranger to me!"

The female assistant approached Doni. "Stop acting like a kid! Don't bother our bosses or you'll come face to face with me!"

Doni sculpts, he stares at the car speeding up and disappears, while the woman looks at Doni from the rearview mirror.

Farrel who followed him from behind patted his shoulder, Doni turned his head, and,

"Rel you saw it, right? He looked a lot like Tiwi, was that him?"

"Conscious, Tiwi is no more, this is not a dream, this is real, she just happens to look alike."

"But...."

"Better we go back now! Let me drive, you have to take a break so as not to hallucinate." said Farrel who walked into his car.

While Doni was still glued to his place.

"I'm crazy."
