LEGEND OF THE ETERNAL FLAME WARRIOR
Episode 8's. High Level Demon
"Ah I remember, when I was 7 years old, I once fell into a ravine because I slipped while playing with Ling Mei, according to what I remember when I fell I just saw a blue flame that covered my whole body and I survived." Inner Ling Yan.
"Are you the blue flame that saved me when I fell into the abyss 5 years ago?" Ling Yan asked.
"Finally you've remembered it boy, it's true, I'm the blue flame you see, I'm one of the core spiritual fire forces, many call me the eternal flame." Said the mysterious voice.
"Eternal flame? I once read a book inside the Ling Clan library titled Spiritual fire, according to what was inside the book, you are the eternal flame that is second to the hundred spiritual flames that exist in the world." Obviously Ling Yan.
"Oh really? am I that strong hahaha." The immortal flames laughed in Ling Yan's mind.
"Foolish boy, I wanted to thank you first." Say that eternal flame again.
"Thank you, on what basis?" Ling Yan asked.
"Thank you for the inner strength you've been giving me for the past 5 years, thanks to that inner power, I can finally recover my lost strength." The answer.
"Power in, 5 years, what!! so you're the one who's been absorbing all the inner power I've had when I tried to break through." Ling Yan shouted in annoyance.
"Hey boy, I've only absorbed your inner energy for five years, why are you so upset, after all I've returned a quarter of all the inner energy I took." Speak eternal fire without feeling guilty.
"What a quarter, it means that you are absorbing the energy within me which is equivalent to the strength of a silver swordsman. Because of you, I became the subject of everyone's insults, even Ling Mei whom I consider to be my own sister as well as those closest to me all stayed away from me and considered myself as trash." Ling Yan said very annoyed.
"Even now only Uncle Hao, Xui my parents are always encouraging me, it's all because you're a lousy fireman." Said Ling Yan whose tears had already started to drip.
"I understand how you feel, boy, you've been like an outcast because of me all along, but I also have no choice but to do that, because if my powers disappear, then you too will die with me." Said the immortal fire core spirit.
"In exchange for me being your strength, don't you also need strength to protect the safety of those closest to you." The eternal flame.
Hearing the words of the immortal fire, Ling Yan wiped his tears and raised his head again.
"You're right, I'll be strong enough to protect everyone I love." Her speech.
"But before that, you have to face the danger that comes from your screams just now." Say eternal fire again.
"What danger do you mean?." Ask with a plain face.
Suddenly there was a loud roar from a demon that started to approach towards him. Without Ling Yan realizing it turned out that he was provoking the arrival of a fourth level iron horn bull whose strength was equivalent to a 3-star golden swordsman.
"It was a fourth-tier iron horn bull, at least at the very least he was stronger than a 3-star golden swordsman, he was no match for you now." Eternal flame uttered from within Ling Yan's body.
"But you said you could protect me, right." Said Ling Yan making sure.
"It may, but now my strength is weakening after restoring that inner power." The eternal flame.
The iron horn bull that was in front of Ling Yan began to prepare to attack him and take a swing.
"So what am I supposed to do now, it looks like he's angry." Said Ling Yan.
Hearing Ling Yan's immortal fire words then ran quickly and fled from where the iron horn bull had been before.
With his physical strength and new ability Ling Yan can run at 200 km per hour, he ran as fast as possible to dodge the bull stealth chase.
But the level 4 bull demon was not a bad runner, with its speed, the bull could easily catch up to Ling Yan and overtake him.
With all his might Ling Yan ran, yet still the demon did not give up on chasing him. Unknowingly with the surrounding circumstances, Ling Yan continued to run towards the middle part of the dark forest.
Until late at night Ling Yan continued to run further and further into the dark forest, and without he realizing it turns out the bull demon was no longer following him, even he was very far away from the demon.
"Hmm what's up, why isn't that demon chasing me anymore? is he tired?." Ling Yan wondered while looking back.
"I don't understand either, it seems like the demon is indeed exhausted." The immortal flame spoke up justifying Ling Yan's words.
Without Ling Yan noticing, there were two pairs of gigantic eyes were staring at him from behind not far from where he was standing.
Ling Yan who had already made sure that the bull demon was no longer chasing after him, began to examine his surroundings, after a while, Ling Yan then only realized that he was currently in a place that was so foreign to him.
"What place is this, like I've never been here before?." Ling Yan looked around him with a puzzled face.
The eternal flame that seemed to be aware of the surrounding situation now changed its tone to serious "No way, isn't this... Boy, why can you be this frivolous." The immortal fire spirit asked in a slightly high tone.
"Whatchu mean? I'll just run as hard as you said." Ling Yan replied to the eternal flame.
"I did tell you to run as hard as you can, but I didn't tell you to run into the deepest part of this dark forest." An annoyed immortal flame.
"What!! you mean we're now in the deepest part of the forest." Ling Yan said in a slight panic.
"Bas stupid, it's appropriate that the level 4 demon did not chase you anymore, in fact he was not exhausted, but you who had crossed the line and entered a place that even he was very afraid of." The eternal flame of anger.
"Ugh, looks like something's watching us, do you feel it?" Ling Yan asked as he began to put on a wary face towards the surroundings.
"Hey I have a name, you can call me Huo (meaning fire)."
"Well okay do you feel it Huo?" Asked Ling Yan lazily.
"Yes, I feel a murderous aura so high, it seems that the one watching us both is a high-level demon." Answer the eternal fire.
Ling Yan now continued to look around him with a watchful face and continued to watch over the surroundings very closely.
"I can sense an extremely powerful fire aura, it seems like this is coming from a fire element demon that is at least already at the level of the dela...." Ling Yan did not have the time to finish his sentence.
Suddenly a roar rang out from the right side of Ling Yan, and a demon appeared from within the thickets with a body shrouded in flames.
"I it... It is...." Ling Yan was speechless as a high-level demon appeared before him.
