The right path

As that thought flashed through his mind, Venix immediately tried to sit down and cultivate.

"It's very difficult, how can I enter the cultivation state?" Venix thought after trying for a few minutes and failed to enter the cultivation state.

Entering the cultivation state not only requires a calm mind and soul, each individual has different criteria for entering the cultivation state. Not only that, but his body and mind had to come together.

Outside of the examination area, the human emperor and the fox emperor chatted amongst themselves.

"Participants number one and four did enter the cultivation state first. However they entered an ordinary cultivation state, but this child named Venix used the Summoner technique. In difficulty alone, the two are on different levels." The fox emperor replied.

Ordinary cultivation techniques although not easy, but not as complex as special cultivation techniques. Ordinary cultivation techniques only absorbed general energy and improved all aspects of Martial Master evenly. However a special cultivation technique, such as the Sunburner Cultivation Technique made the Martial Master's body possess solar energy, and greatly improved a certain aspect according to the special cultivation technique itself.

The Summoner cultivation technique concerned the soul, and each Summoner Cultivation Technique was unique to each individual, its complexity level was much higher than any other special cultivation technique.

"Indeed, yet there are no prerequisites of special cultivation techniques to pass this exam, there is no need to do things until it is that complicated." As the final move succeeded, Venix felt his body and mind detached from a shackle. Previously he felt his body covered by a cocoon, and now, he had turned into a butterfly and came out of the cocoon!

"Was this change caused by Tranquil Soul or is this change real? Even if I go out, this change won't go away?" Venix is not sure.

I can verify it later, I have to focus for the exam first, Venix discards his random thoughts and starts to focus on passing the exam.

If in the outside world, while cultivating, their bodies would absorb the spiritual energy present in the world. However within Tranquil Soul, his body did not absorb Spiritual energy, yet his soul absorbed Tranquil Soul energy!

More precisely, his soul was absorbing the scene information that was before his eyes!

"It seems like this is the right path.…" Venix muttered and absorbed the information contained within Tranquil Soul.

The Summoner cultivation technique did not have to be with contract beasts. Doing it yourself could also, but the joint effects of contract beasts were much better.

Since Venix's synchronization rate had reached 100%, the moment he used his Summoner's cultivation, his speed and energy absorption were just like his original talent. However, if you join Nero, the cultivation speed will increase to 150% more, respectively Venix and Nero receive that benefit. This was why the Summoner cultivation technique was recognized as one of the best yet difficult techniques simultaneously.

Absorbing the scene information within Tranquil Soul, one by one the scenes appeared within his mind.

His family, his friends, he became evil, he became a good person, and many others.

"Eh? Whatisthis? Wasn't this my classmate in the past? Do I really like it?" Venix wonders when the scene of her being with a female schoolmate is dating in a park, enjoying their youth.

Strangely enough, Venix felt nothing. He had a good impression with this woman, yet there was no feeling of love, just a simple liking.

"Maybe I really haven't found the right woman yet, even the scene inside Tranquil Soul isn't capable of giving me the feeling of love." Venix shook his head as he digested the scene and kept it deep within his soul.

Thinking of romance, Venix somehow felt empty in his heart. Throwing away his random thoughts, Venix focused on digesting the other scene.

Venix does not know that feelings of pleasure, sadness, happiness, even love are capable of being done by Tranquil Soul. Yet it is only the feeling of love that Tranquil Soul fails to manifest on itself.
