Soon Venix and Nero were surrounded by city guards.

The people around them also know that something has happened. They stopped their footsteps, and looked to where Venix was, waiting to watch the show.

Although the city guards surrounded Venix and Nero, only one of the city guards took out his weapons and pointed them at Venix.

"Excuse me? What evidence do you have to accuse me of that?" Venix rubbed his ears, afraid that he might have misheard.

The city guard captain looked at Venix for a while before turning his gaze back to the city guards.

"Are you sure?" The city guard captain asked.

"I can't confirm it yet, but it's better to catch it first rather than release it for now!" The city guard said.

The captain of the city guards frowned and was in a dilemma.

This kind of thing happened often, some enemies sent someone to kill Lord Yenta for the past year. So the city gatekeeper had a much greater responsibility regarding this matter, and made most of the city guards vigilant, and sometimes excessive.

"Catch them both."

The captain of the city guards immediately ordered his subordinates to capture Venix and Nero. His previous advice did make sense.

So it's better to catch the suspect than to let them go.

Soon some of the city guards walked over to Venix and Nero cautiously, afraid that the two of them would fight back.

"Are we going to be caught like this?" Nero asked Venix.

"You're Rene, right? I barely recognized you when I saw you for the first time after a long time had passed." Venix suddenly opened his mouth and said something.

"The venix?" Rene asked in an uncertain tone.

While talking to Rene, Venix also did not forget to bring Nero into the topic of conversation and ugly him.
