In the morning, the rain finally stopped. Adelio woke up, suddenly sitting, panting, her hands trembling slightly. When he fainted, his mind was full of Bivades's face and blood was flowing from his head, a terrible nightmare.
He calmed himself, looking around. Seeing this was a narrow room, there was one window, there was one table and a chair in front of it. Other than the bed where he was lying, There was another bed next to him, the bed was a little messy, as if someone had just woken up.
Adelio sat down for a while, In his heart crossed the thought of "How can I sleep here?, What happened to that old man?, I need to get out of here as soon as possible!"
He slowly got up from the bed, went to the half-closed door, from the door a slight breeze blew into the room.
He sighed going to the entrance and pulled his handle "Sret.." The sound of the door creaking as he opened it.
A bright light from outside suddenly shone on his face, causing his eyes to narrow. The sunlight shining on his body made him feel warm.
He was in the small courtyard outside the door. He was astonished to see the abundance of teak and fir trees as well as some flowers. In front of him was a wooden rod standing vertically.
He then sat down on the log, sighing. The air at that time felt fresh let alone the fragrant smell of some flowers made Adelio feel calm. He wanted to continue being in that place, but a mysterious voice suddenly called out to him from behind "You're up?"
Adelio turned his head back and saw the same old man who scared her yesterday.
The old man was wearing a woodcutter outfit, his beard was extremely bushy. He looked at Adelio cynically and said "You seem to be hungry. Let's follow me"
Following the old man, Adelio left the courtyard, reentered the hut. He saw two bowls of soup placed on the table.
Without thinking, Adelio immediately grabbed the bowl and not until a minute he finished his meal. He took another bowl that was not his.
The old man let it go, he waited for Adelio to finish eating and looked at him coldly.
After finishing eating, Adelio glared at the old man. He felt scared and immediately bowed, but one thing was certain he was sure the old man was a good person.
"Young people explain your origin?" The old man asked. He knew that Adelio was not from this village.
Adelio replied "I am from the Kingdom of Fot .." his voice was no longer heard and he sobbed, his eyes glazed over.
He then raised his hand to rub his eyes firmly, sighed then said "I am from the Kingdom of Fotia. A country that has been destroyed".
Hearing Adelio's words, the old man shook his head sadly. Rubbing Adelio's head he said "If you want you can stay with me. You can call me Daskalos".
Adelio could only nod his head, he actually wanted to refuse but he was confused because he did not know where else to go.
Daskalos then took Adelio to go into the forest. He carried a large sword shaped butcher knife on his back.
They walk casually through the trees. Daskalos looked around. His steps suddenly came to a halt, His gaze falling on the pine tree in the west.
He approached the pine tree. Adelio. Now they are standing right in front of the tree. Daskalos then drew his sword and slashed the tree in a single swing until it fell.
The slash produced a voice that echoed throughout the forest.
Some of the birds that heard it instantly moved away from the sound.
Adelio gaped at the sight of five other trees behind the slashed trees falling down. He wondered "How is that possible?" it was the first time he had seen such a sight.
In the Petra Continent people who could slash like that were only swordsmen who were at level one. Anyone who reaches that level is said to be able to split mountains, but people who reach this level can be counted in finger counts alone.
Adelio looked at Daskalos with admiration. He recalled the legend about the "God of the Sword". A warrior who did not master magic at all, but thanks to his skill in sword, he managed to kill a thousand witches.
Daskalos then lifted two large logs and flanked them on his shoulders. After he finished, he rushed home followed by Adelio. While walking through the forest, Adelio asked about the power he had such as "How to obtain it?"
"... hahahaha it's so easy you have to practice really" Daskalos laughed lightly.
"I know but I need a teacher to teach me" Adelio threw away his face, embarrassed to ask Daskalos to teach him.
Daskalos suddenly stopped, his face became solemn. He turned around and stared intently at Adelio as he said "I haven't had a disciple I can trust for a long time, yet I saw something different from you" Daskalos's face changed into a smile, he nodded his head.
He then walked into the middle of the forest. There he threw a wooden rod on his shoulder and pulled the sword on his back firmly. Then he demonstrated some sword movements by slashing the air around him. When he finished he took a small but long log and threw it at Adelio.
Adelio suddenly grabbed him, he was silent for a moment looking at the wood he was holding like a daze.
"Imitate the movement you just saw. You must practice diligently if you want to surpass me" Daskalos told Adelio to imitate his movements.
At first Adelio had trouble remembering Daskalos' movements, but Bivades' smiling face suddenly flashed through his mind. Suddenly his face turned angry and he slashed at the surroundings incoherently.
After eight years had passed, there was a young man skillfully swinging his sword. The sword swing was very soft but very strong. The trees around him even collided once he put his sword back into its sheath.
The young man was Adelio. He had already grown into a swordsman with a handsome face. For eight years he was taught swordsmanship and science by Daskalos. In return, he helped Daskalos cut down trees in the forest and drove them to customers.
"Please .. please .. toll" When walking through the forest, a mysterious voice suddenly echoed in Adelio's ear. He rushed towards the voice.
