Light For Stars

Light For Stars
Chapter Five

Light placed a plate of rice and side dishes in front of the Star, including drinking water and medicine for the man. "Quick eating! I'll have to help my aunt soon!" yells.

"What food is that? Why does it look bad? Maid in my house just foodstuff better than that?" ask the Star when you see there is only fried tempeh and omelet on the plate. Such a simple menu is rare and almost never on his family's dining table.

"If you don't want to eat, I don't eat either." The light took back the food it had just put. But quickly the stars held him back.

"Don't!"

"Why? Didn't you say the food wasn't good?"

The star did not answer, he could not say that he was starving at this time because he had not eaten since last night. And the wallet's somewhere now. It's possible that the wallet fell into the river last night. "That's all because of HIM, just watch out, when I come back I'll make a calculation!" inner Star.

"Yes, how? Did the kid take his medicine?" aunt Laksmi's voice from the kitchen.

"Not yet, Auntie," replied the Light.

"Tell him to take his medicine so that the spit is healed. You brought him food, right?" ask Aunt Laksmi again.

"She's, Auntie. But it doesn't seem like he's used to eating food like this" Light replied as he glanced towards the Stars.

Hearing the reply from the Light, Aunt Laksmi who was still in the kitchen immediately came to see him.

"Can't you really eat with a side dish like this?" aunty Laksmi asked with glaring eyes.

"Mom... It's not like that. I´m... It means I'm just not used to eating with side dishes like this" replied the little star. Even though he urgently, he still has the nature of not enjoying with older people especially that person has helped him.

"I'm gonna eat it." The star hastily ate the food that was in front of him. Although he wanted to vomit, he still swallowed the food and ate it to the end. Moreover, the woman he recently found out as the aunt of the Light continued to watch over him.

The light smiled at the star who was forced to eat food that he did not like.

"You want more?" Aunt Laksmi offers.

"Ti's... No. gabe. Thank you" replied the star.

"Yes, already. Now take the medicine after that get the hell out of here. I'm sure your family's worried about you right now."

Hearing the words of Aunt Laksmi Star fell silent. In her heart she wondered, could it be that her mama-pa was worried about her current state? Or instead they feel happy because the child who always makes problems for the family is now not at home?

"Why? You have a problem with your parents?" ask Laksmi again when seeing the change in the face of the Star.

"No, it just so happens that I have no family," replied the Star and of course immediately made the Light glare. Moreover, Light knew if both Star parents were still there and in good health because he had seen them on campus.

"really?" The light stared at the cynical stars. He did not understand why the arrogant guy said that. "Aw, Auntie," Light ringis as the Auntie hits her arm.

"You're! You also feel what it feels like to have no parents. You should be the one who understands her feelings the most" said Aunt Laksmi.

"But, Aunt. He still has parents" said the Light.

"Where do you know? Don't you know him?" reply Aunt Laksmi again. "What if her parents are really dead? You are, you must learn to be more sensitive to the feelings of others." Back Light nagging Light.

"Sorry, my nephew, yes" said Aunt Laksmi. "When he used to be the most sensitive child, look at the injured cat he cried. Maybe because on the campus he used to be bullied so his sense of empathy was a little reduced. Again sorry Aunt's nephew."

The star stared at the Light, but the girl immediately threw away her face. "I'm going to the kitchen, I'm going to wash the dishes first." The light chose to go from there. He did not want to be disappointed by telling his aunt that the man who used to bully him often and make him lose the student duty.

"Ohya, what's your name? Why did you fall into the river?" ask Laksmi.

"E.. My name is Star, Aunt. I had a motorcycle accident when I got home from work" the Star replied.

"Ooh... Then you live not far from here dong?"

"I happen to be wandering." One more lie came out of the mouth of the Star. He does not want to go back to his home yet. He wanted to know if his parents would be worried about him.

"Yes, until your situation really improves, you can stay here. Take it easy, Mr. Mantri is nice. Just put on a clear face, he will treat you for free." In the part that talked about Mr. Mantri, Aunt Laksmi spoke in a whisper.

Smiling stars.

"Yes, Auntie is also going to the market. Buy materials to sell later in the afternoon. If you need anything, you can ask for help from Aunt's nephew. Ohya, here in addition to Aunt and Aya, there's Aunt's husband too. Yes yes, Aunty lives in the market. You take this dirty plate back. Let it wash with Aya!"

"Okay, Auntie," replied the Star. "Again thanks."

"Huh. Poor people, it is easy to be snatched," said Bintang.

"But why didn't the geeky tell Tantenya that she knew me? Don't he have any other intentions?" star Mumm. He also got up from his seat.

"What clothes is this? It is narrow, no longer comfortable to wear," complained the star. "That's it. Let me ask the geeky where's my shirt?"

The star immediately searches for the presence of Light in the kitchen. There he saw Light washing the dishes.

"Culun, where's my shirt?" ask Stars.

Light disregards. The hijab-wearing woman who always wears glasses did not respond at all.

"Hey. I'm afraid of you, right?" ask the stars again.

The light is still.

"Culun, you want me.... "

"What?!" With a trace of the waist, the Light glared towards the Stars. "Inget yeah. This is my aunt's house, not the college. And here you can't do anything."

The star swallowed his saliva. Just this time, he saw an expression of Light like this. Even though on campus first, the girl looks quiet and looks resigned every time she and her gang members bully her. But somehow the stars prefer this kind of light.

"One more. Don't call me Culun, I have a name and my name is Light. Remember C A H A Y A." Light spelled his name.

"Ohya, where are your clothes, right?" Stars nodded.

"Your book is there, tuh!" answer the Light while pointing. The star follows the direction pointed by the Light. This time it was her turn to glare at the whereabouts of her clothes.
