Chapters 20. The departure of Mr. Burhan

At the Hospital.

Caca had arrived at the hospital, she occasionally mentioned his father's name. Caca was crying, she didn't want to lose Dad a second time. He then asked the doctor to cure his father.

"Please, Doctor Sir. Please my father, let nothing bad befall him. I beg the Doctor," said Caca in heartbreaking words.

"Take him to the operating room immediately!" doctor's orders while getting ready.

Caca waited for his father who was in surgery with anxiety. Her tears continued to flow, always mirroring the pain she experienced when her parents died as a child.

Caca also did not forget to pray for healing for his father.

Shortly afterwards Mr. Tris and Mr. Heru arrived at the hospital and immediately looked for Caca. They easily found Caca, because Caca was surrounded by their confidants.

"Racao!" the voices of Mr. Tris and Mr. Heru call together.

Caca then hugged them while crying loudly. Caca could not speak anymore. The bloodstains all over the clothes clearly described the terrible event that happened before his eyes.

Nael and Ahmad had also arrived at the hospital, he looked from afar and did not dare to approach. They saw how sad Caca was there in a shirt soiled with blood, and a pale countenance.

"Sir, Tris. Look at Dad again in surgery, he's not why is he? look, Mr. Heru. Look, I'm gonna be okay, right, sir?" caca said crying.

"Dad already cheated Caca from the criminal, sir. She's alone, she dares to go in there alone for Caca's sake, sir."

"He came in when someone wanted to stain Caca, sir. He, he doesn't think of himself." said Caca, crying bitterly.

Mr. Tris and Mr. Heru could not bear to hear Caca's cries. They cry, they hug Caca and try to calm Caca down.

"Nothing's gonna happen to your dad, Ca. It won't! believe me."

Nael is hurt to see Caca who is so sad, he is also angry when someone tries to stain Caca, and what made him even more angry was when he couldn't be beside Caca at the moment.

He then recalls his time with Caca and the most memorable one was when he danced with Caca. Nael was crying.

Teh Mul called Ahmad, he wanted to know where Caca was. Ahmad told them the name of the hospital. Caca's friend and Mul's tea then set off in a Taxi.

Caca was still crying, her face was already pale. Caca fainted.

"Read! Glory!" shouted Mr. Heru and Mr. Tris woke Caca.

Nael panicked to see Caca faint, but she held herself back. He could only see it all from a distance.

"Suster! help him! please take care of him!" shouted Mr. Heru panicked.

Caca then got help. The sisters took care of Caca, they changed Caca's clothes and put on an infusion because Caca was dehydrated.

Mba Dewi, Lista and Teh Mul have arrived at the hospital previously told by Ahmad. They were looking for Ahmad.

"Mad. How's Caca doing?" ask Mul's tea worriedly.

"Caca fainted, again in the care. His father was also in surgery again," replied Ahmad.

"Where, Mr Nael?" ask Mba Dewi.

Ahmad pointed at Nael who was in the corner of the room while pondering, what was thought, they did not dare to approach.

The three of them then approached Mr. Tris and Mr. Heru to ask how Caca and his father were doing.

"Sir Tris. How's Caca doing, sir?" the Mba Dewi asked.

"Lohs. Why are you guys here?" mr. Tris asked.

The three of them looked at each other, what should they answer.

"Ah that's not important, sir. What matters is Caca's situation?" ask Lista.

"Caca is being treated."

Moments later the door opened, they were surprised to see so many bruises around Caca's face and body. There was a white bandage encircling his head.

Mr. Tris then asked one of the doctors there.

"How, Doc? how is he doing?"

"The operation went well, but we don't know if he's going to survive or not. His head was severely injured, there was a skull that was cracked like being hit by a hard object."

"He also lost a lot of blood, a lot of bruises on his body. He is also still in a critical state, we can only hope for a miracle from God" replied the Doctor.

Hearing that, everyone felt sad. Mr. Tris asked the three of them to look after Caca who was still unconscious. Then Mr. Tris and Mr. Heru went to the room where Mr. Burhan was treated.

Caca's friends walked into the room where Caca was being treated. Nael saw no one, he approached the room and entered.

Caca's friend's friend looks sad she sees Caca helpless. Nael only dared to look in front of the room. Lista, who sees Nael, asks Nael to take turns to see Caca. The three of them then go out and take turns with Nael to meet Caca.

Nael sits next to Caca, remembering when he helped Caca who was locked up because of Sony's actions. He also recalled the time he scolded Caca for vague reasons, and fired him from the office.

Nael can only be silent, he does not know what to do. She clasped Caca's hand and wiped Caca's tears away.

Soon after, Caca began to wake up. His eyes opened slowly and looked around and remembered the terrible incident earlier. He then got up and called his father.

"Dad! where's dia? where's Dad?" ask Caca.

Caca looked at Nael who was there holding his hand. Caca tried to let go. He doesn't want to be touched by anyone.

Caca took off his hose and forgot about the pain, which he thought was his father. Caca runs out, Caca's friends and tries to stop Caca.

"Ca. Waitaminute! where you going? you're still weak Ca."

"Yes, Ca. Don't go."

Caca ignored the words of his friends. He asked one of the spies who had saved him.

"Sir. Where's my Dad? is he okay? please take me there."

"No Miss! no, miss is still very weak. Mr. Burhan is in intensive care, Non."

Caca didn't care he then searched the room where his father was in. The nurses held Caca. Nael sees Caca crying, and he goes to Caca who is fighting the nurses.

"Sorry, Sus. Just leave him alone, let me take care of him," Nael said.

The nurses agree and let Nael deliver Caca, but on one condition should not be too long because Caca's condition is still weak.

Caca looked at Nael with anger. Because of him, his father's life is at stake. Caca brushed off Nael's hand trying to hold it.

"Don't touch me! I can walk on my own!" snapped Caca while trying to walk with a shaky body.

"good. But please allow me to accompany you Carisa."

Caca just kept walking and didn't listen to Nael's words. Nael then accompanies Caca by keeping his distance.

Nael and Caca have arrived at Father's room being treated. There is already a mother and her sister Handi who are crying and accompanied by Mr. Tris and Mr. Heru. Caca looked at his mother and approached them

"Mother .." said Caca, calling her mother, crying back.

"Read! thank goodness you're okay, son. Have you eaten yet? your face is pale" said Mother, wiping Caca's tears.

Caca just kept quiet while hugging her mother. Caca then peeked out of her Dad's room door. Looks like his dad is so weak. His face disappeared immediately. Many hoses were attached to his body and face.

Caca could not help but cry, recalling the incident when his father tried to save his pride. Caca was crying again.

Mother and the others tried to appease the crying Caca. Caca then sat in front of the door of his father's room in care, he always prayed for his father's recovery. So it is with the others.

Nael can only see it from a distance, he must not approach Caca by his own Papa.

Moments later, a Doctor and a Nurse were seen running quickly into the room where Caca's father was being treated. They just hope there's nothing bad about Mr. Burhan. They all looked outside the room.

All the nurses and doctors tried to save Mr. Burhan who suddenly dropped, his condition weakened. Because of his critical condition and because of the age factor. The doctor couldn't save her. Mr. Burhan finally breathed his last breath.

Well Caca's dad died. He has died. All distrustful of it, they see Caca who is only speechless when the doctor has declared that her father has passed away.

Caca's world is devastated. How could he possibly lose Father a second time and in the same condition after saving him.

Caca drooped down, he was speechless no more. His friend was also sad, feeling the sadness experienced by Caca.

Caca looks back on the days when she was with her father. From saving when he was a child and until he was stiff in front of him.

Caca lowered his head, he clenched both of his hands and put his hands in front of his chest, seemingly claustrophobic once he cried. Caca was not able to hold back his tears he also shouted to call his father.

"DAD!!!" shout Caca.

Everyone who was there approached Caca and tried to calm him down. Caca was crying so hard, he fell silent and looked for someone.

Caca then approached Nael, Caca then scolded Nael who looked sad. Nael lets Caca vent her anger. They all could only see it without being able to help. Caca beat up Nael's body, he could only fall silent.

"Look, now look! satisfied Father! is my family a liar? was his sacrifice to me just a fantasy? I have so much respect for my father."

"If he is not my real father, but his love is limitless. She already thinks of me like her own biological daughter, see my mother also she raised me like her own son."

"Yes, our family is liars! we had no blood relation, but they, they took care of me with affection. We are liars because we keep too many secrets."

Nael and Caca's friends are surprised that Caca's father and mother are not Caca's biological parents and they only know about it now, in a state of Caca's heart that is being broken like this.

Nael just fell silent at Caca who constantly scolded him. Nael could not stand it anymore, Nael immediately hugged Caca tightly, he did not let go even though Caca was in revolt.

As Caca cried, he was too weak to beat Nael again, Caca fainted again. Everyone was screaming hysterically. Nael who saw that without a second thought immediately carried Caca back to his ward.
