Chapter 4 The Witch Dragon From the Eastern Mountains

The sound of the footsteps of someone who was heading upstairs, shortly after, the sound of footsteps began to stop in front of Ryouta's room door, then the voice changed to a knock on the door and after Ryouta's door was knocked, Chera heard the sound of Ryouya and Rui coming down.

"Ryouta-san, Rui-chan, come on, breakfast is prepared downstairs" Chera told Ryouta and Rui from outside their room.

After Chera calls Ryouta and Rui for breakfast, Chera goes back downstairs to prepare breakfast for Ryouta and Rui.

After Chera goes down to prepare breakfast, Ryouta and Rui leave the room and prepare for breakfast. When they got downstairs, a black-haired woman wearing a long brown dress with a white apron came out from the pitu on the left of the reception table with some food to serve Ryouta and Rui.

After the food was served, Chera came and sat down near Ryouta and Rui while asking them,

"Nee Ryouta-san, can you tell me how you met Rui-san?" Ask Chera to Ryouta.

After the talk about Rui was over, she asked Ryouta about what he would do today.

"Yes it was me, what was it, until a guild master like you came to see me" Ryouta told Erlant.

"Follow me, we'll be doing the Rank ascension exam soon," Erlant said with a cold expression.

After following Erlant, they arrived at the guild's basement, where there was a vast field where powerful adventurers trained. Upon arriving at the field, Erlant drew his sword and said to Ryouta,

"For your rank increase, you must fight to defeat me and make me give up if you fail, then you'll be relegated to Rank G but if you win you'll go up to Rank C."

"I just need to beat you, right?" Ryouta said as he looked at Elant.

"It looks like you're ready to take this exam, alright Rika please explain the rules."

After successfully defeating Erlant, the exam was completed and in accordance with the agreement specified, the rank in Ryouta's guild card changed from rank F to rank C, accompanied by congratulations from Erlant the guild master to Ryouta for defeating him and becoming a rank C adventurer.

"So the point is if I can defeat that Red Minotaur, the Orihalcon mining line will be reopened, right?" Said Ryouta who was planning to defeat the Red Minotaur.

"That's a dangerous thing Ryouta-san, that monster is very difficult to defeat, even Rank A or S adventurers still can't defeat him," Elfina told Ryouta.

"Just calm down I will definitely defeat him in a short time," Ryouta replied to Elfina who was worried about him.
