LOOK AT ME, GUS!

LOOK AT ME, GUS!
Chapter Seventeen

Hana opens the rendang and jerky that Aisha gave her. He looked a long time at the side dish. Remember, how Anin really likes balado jerky as much as her husband.

"If I give this side dish to Shabir, he will definitely immediately remember Anin. Wasn't that time they were scrambling to eat balado jerky," Hana muttered in her heart.

Hana also dislikes jerky. If she wants to eat it. The woman wrapped him back up. He then came out of the room. Seeing a janitor passing by, Hana called out to him. He approached the officer.

"Bak, this is jerky. Brother gave. I'm going to go on the road, scared stale. Just bring it home for Mommy. This is just cooking, not leftover" said Hana.

"Thank you, Ma'am," said the janitor. He went away from before Hannah.

Hana took a heavy breath. If Aisha knew, the side dish she cooked was given to someone else, she would be sad. However, Hana thought, she should do that so that her husband would not associate everything with Anin. She could have remembered her pony if she knew that jerky side dish from Aisha, her mother the woman she loved.

"What did you give that janitor?"

The question made Hana surprised. Look at the origin of the sound. Her face became pale when she found out her husband was greeting her.

"Just a piece of bread" Hana replied with a smile. She then wrestled spoiled in the arms of her husband as he walked into the room.

Gus Sbahir chose to sit on the sofa. Smell of rendang and jerky. Second is his favorite side dish.

"Like the smell of rendang and jerky," said Gus Shabir.

"There is only rendang. Bang Ghibran brought him. Aisha's sister has cooked it" replied Hana.

"Bang Ghibran came here? I was embarrassed and disinclined. It should be before the stay, I said first with your brother so that he does not misunderstand, ", said Gus Shabir.

"He wouldn't misunderstand. He knows and certainly understands why we choose to stay. Every newlywed takes time for both. It's just that we're different, it's also because you have another woman in your heart. I put the clothes together first, after this we check out again," said Hana.

He put all the clothes together and stuffed them in a suitcase. Once all is done they check out right away.

On the way home, the two of them were silent, with no one to speak. Gus Shabir concentrated on the steering wheel, while Hana was busy looking for ways to make jerky and rendang. She will learn to cook her husband's favorite food.

Elsewhere, Anin and her parents had been in the car. They're going to the city where Anin is studying. The journey they will take will take about eight hours.

Arriving at the Anin boarding house, the time has been shown at eleven o'clock at night. Both men stayed at his residence.

In the morning, Anin warms the jerky and rendang side dishes that she brings for her parents' breakfast. Aisha washes and cleans Anin's room. After all was done, Anin asked them for breakfast.

"Darling, is it true that you will stay here until graduation arrives?" ask Ghibran. He only found out when his wife Aisha said that their daughter would not come home until she got her doctorate.

Anin simply nodded in response. He did not dare to speak. Afraid that they will cry.

"Why don't you want to go home on vacation? Don't you have any longing for Papi or Mami?" ask Ghibran again. He suspected something the princess was hiding from him.

"I want to finish college fast, Pi!" answer Anin.

"That's not an excuse. Be honest, son. What the hell's going on? Papi was able to guess all this from the chat with your aunty earlier. However, Papi did not want to draw his own conclusions. Fear of being wrong" Ghibran said.

Ghibran could have guessed that his son and his sister were not doing well. He looked at the princess who left Annisa's house yesterday with red eyes holding back tears. He knew his son had just had a fight with his sister.

Ghibran grew suspicious when the sister did not want to stay at home, added again with strange questions from Hana yesterday at the hotel.

Of all he concluded all this had to do with Gus Shabir. He wanted honesty from the princess' mouth.

"Your relationship and aunty's currently not okay. Is all this related to Gus Shabir?" ask Ghibran.

Anin looked down, not daring to look at the face of the papi. He never lied to his parents. But to be honest, he did not dare. The girl was afraid that she would add thoughts from her papi.

"Me and aunty are fine, Pi," Anin replied slowly.

Aisha was silent. She did not dare to answer for fear of lying to her husband. He will also tell the Ghibran everything later. Just waiting for time.

"Prove to papi if you're okay. Papi will call Hana and Gus Shabir now. You speak three" said Ghibran.

Ghibran reached into his pocket and took his cell phone. He then seeks out Hana's contacts. When the man wanted to contact Hana, Anin held her hand.

"Don't Pi. I'll be honest. But I beg you not to be angry, with me or aunty Hana," Anin said stammered as she held back tears.

"Tell me, honey. Did papi ever get angry with you or with Hana?" ask Ghibran.

Anin took a deep breath before saying everything. Aisha who sat beside the princess, hugged her body. Trying to give strength to Anin to be able to say everything honestly.

Aisha was grateful that in the end the princess was willing to tell the truth. Anin said everything that happened. It starts with Gus Shabir's confession saying that he loves Anin and marries Hana because he thinks it's him.

Ghibran heard all his daughter's words seriously. He didn't think that the problems of his son and sister were complicated enough. It was all her fault too. Why not ask Gus Shabir directly about his proposal for his sister instead of his son. Finally, Anin finished saying everything. There was nothing he was hiding, including his aunty request that he stay away from Gus Shabir.

Ghibran hugged his daughter tightly. Feeling guilty for all that Anin and Hana are going through.

"I'm sorry Papi. Papi has accidentally broken your heart by proposing to Gus Shabir for Hana. And you and Shabir love each other" said Ghibran hoarsely as he held back tears. He could imagine, how heartbroken the princess was when watching the wedding of the man he loved.

Ghibran immediately recalled the moment the princess fainted and fell ill on her aunty's wedding day. He as a parent, felt guilty for being insensitive to what was happening.
