Love Above the Wounds

Love Above the Wounds
Memories That Have Been Went

The morning sunlight hit every face at the cemetery, the cemetery which began to leave mourners one after another.

Dicky was still staring at the still wet tomb, the sprinkling of flowers filled the navel of Ranti which this morning was immediately buried.

As promised, Dicky escorts Ranti to her final resting place.

Since his arrival from home to the hospital, to the funeral, Fitri was silent without asking or saying anything.

She tries to understand what her husband is currently feeling, even though in her lifetime Ranti had been bad, but before that they had been bound in a relationship that loved each other.

Now that Ranti is gone, she is gone and will never come back.

Dio also appears to have kept his feet on the side of the tomb, crying and hugging the tombstone.

Ranti left by incising wounds in the hearts of Dio and Chika, Dio who has now officially become a one-child widower.

Dio who no longer believes in love, because he never felt that love was beautiful, he never knew what it was like to be loved sincerely by a woman.

A baby sitter came to the tomb leading a beautiful daughter.

"Sir, Chika doesn't want to go home, she says she wants to be with you!" the baby sitter said.

Dio raised his face, his eyes looking red, then he grabbed Chika in his arms.

"Pa, Mama where's Pa! I want Mama Pa!" whinek Chika who has not realized what is loss and death.

"Mama's gone, son, but Chika don't be afraid, there's Papa who's always looking after Chika!" whispered Dio.

"No!! Usually Mama's in the hospital, usually I always see Mama, now why no Mama where, where Papa!!" jerrit Chika.

The boy began to cry and sulk, inviting the attention of those around him.

Dio tries to hold her, but Chika rolls over the tomb.

"Yama!!!" Chika kept shouting to call her Mama.

Dio seemed to cry while hitting his own body, the man looked very fragile.

Her baby sitter tries to calm Chika down. The boy is hard to control.

Dicky and Fitri who were still there were very sad to see the incident in front of his eyes.

Then Dicky came forward and approached Chika who was still crying, her dirty hair and clothes exposed to the grave ground.

"Dear Chika, a smart kid can't cry, even if Mama's gone, but Chika has a great Papa, who will take care of and protect Chika.

The boy cried in Dicky's arms, Fitri also cried imagining that if his children were in Chika's position, surely his heart would be broken.

"Om, Om, right Doctor, why can't you heal Mama??" chika asked as she sobbed at Dicky.

Dicky was stunned to hear the question of the four-year-old child.

A very rare question asked by a child of Chika's age.

"Chika, that man, will not forever live in the world, he can leave at any time, maybe this time Mama Chika who left, siaoabyau tomorrow Om Doctor who left, The doctor only helps, baby, can't heal people, only God can heal!" said Dicky.

"Then, evil God dong! He took my mama!" cetus Chika's.

"It's not so dear, Chika will know Mama Chika is sick, because God does not want Mama Chika to be sick for long, God calls her to heaven, so Mama Chika is not sick anymore!" obviously Dicky.

"It's Doctor, there's no end to you answering Chika's questions, she's still too small to understand any of this!" dio said while rubbing his face.

He then stood up, then reached into something in his pants pocket.

It was getting late, and the tomb had become completely deserted.

"In Ranti's hands when she died, I found this!" dio said as he thrust out a worn-out, scuffed piece of paper toward Dicky.

Dicky received the paper, his hands shaking as he looked and recognized the paper.

It was her last letter to Ranti, when her soul was injured, after Ranti decided to marry Dio.

The sad and devastated Dio started holding Chika and walked away from the tomb.

Dicky still stood up and slowly opened the paper, it was his paper first, containing a poem for Ranti.

Fitri let Dicky dissolve into his past, like a re-broadcast video, trying to stand by his side without faltering.

I tried repeatedly, though,

Persuade the heart, forget all the memories.

The dream meets again

I keep my promise, though,

Created, between us first ...

Lost you don't change ...

Let it be like this

I sail the sea without a fist,

Occasionally conscious, the waves are blocked ...

I was like lost ...

Top direction and destination

I'm asking your name

With longing, in sorrow...

Dicky reread the poem he wrote while shedding his tears.

Fitri also read the poem, a poem about the expression of the heart that lost a lover.

Unconsciously Fitri also cried, he only realized that Dicky had once been very deeply in love with a woman.

"I didn't expect, Dicky could be this romantic!" fitri said when Dicky finished reading his old memory letter.

"That's just the Fit past!" sahut Dicky's.

"Say, first love is hard to forget, will be remembered all the time!" fitri.

"Well, maybe you're right, but true love, it's what's going to last until the future!" dicky said, embracing Fitri, stepping out of the tomb.

"Why didn't Dicky go after Mas Dicky's first love?" ask Fitri.

"What once meant a Dicky, just a regular medical student who didn't know the future, didn't have anything to be proud of, since Ranti's parents never approved of us, moreover, they know that I'm an orphanage!" answer Dicky.

"I'm .. I'm jealous of your past Mas .." said Fitri Lirih who can no longer hide his feelings.

"Why should you be jealous of the past? Moreover, that past is now completely gone and gone!" ask Dicky.

"Do you know who my first love was?" ask Fitri back.

"Great!" guess Dicky.

"Wrong!"

"Then who? All I know about your ex is that Agus Sontoloyo!" Dicky.

"I used to take it for granted when Agus expressed love for me, whereas in my heart, I never loved Agus!" answer Fitri.

"Then, who was your first love??" ask Dicky.

"Mas Dicky!" answer Fitri.

"Me??"

"Yes, Doctor Dicky!" firmly Fitri.

"Why am I your first love?"

"When I saw the sincerity and tenderness of your heart, I fell in love with you, as if you were a miracle God sent me!" fitri.

Dicky stopped his steps, in his face Fitri, then slowly Dicky kissed Fitri's lips.

The kiss was very soft and warm, making Fitri fall deeper and deeper in her feelings of love for her husband.

"Thank you for loving me!" whispered Dicky while continuing to kiss Fitri's lips.
