Love And Past Stories
Giving Necklace

As usual every Sunday Greysa always runs in the morning after morning prayers. He has been accustomed to running in the morning since he was in elementary school and has become a positive habit for him to this day. He usually runs in the morning with his mother but this time he runs alone because his mother is busy taking care of cake orders.

Greysa never knew who his father was. He just lives with his mom. Only her mother raised her. But Greysa never bothered thinking about living without a father because he felt lucky to have a strong mother and could finance their lives with his own efforts. They live off the profits of small cakes made by his name. Small cake business that was then has now developed into a large and famous cake business throughout the community.

"It's so exciting to also jog alone like this." Greysa muttered while putting a headset on his ear.

Greysa jogs through the route he used to go with his mother and the route is also not too far from his home.

When Greysa again cool running while listening to music he suddenly felt followed by someone. He tried to speed up his escape but the man also did the same with him.

Greysa started to panic a little but she tried to stay calm and dispel her negative thoughts. He took the initiative to stop pretending to put on shoelaces so that he knew the person was really following him or not. This action was a little dangerous but he ventured to do so so that he would know who was behind it.

"If the shoelaces do not come off do not need to be removed continue to be tied again later so often loose the rope." Said a man with a familiar voice approaching Greysa from behind.

"Lohs?! Mr Darren?!!" Greysa was a little surprised by Darren's presence.

"Why? are you afraid that I am a bad person? relax, I have no evil intentions with you." Darren chuckled.

"Yes you think alone, who is not afraid to try to arrive there are those who follow from behind especially I am a girl." Greysa said a little annoyed.

"Do you know what kind of girl jogging alone is?" Ask Darren

"Because no friend wants to jog sir." Greysa replied as he stood up after tying his shoelaces.

"Well, if I want to?" Ask Darren again.

"May you don't mind." Greysa said with a smile. He was happy to be jogging with Darren. He had to think what dream he had last night until he could meet Darren in such a situation.

"That shoelace is really fastened yet? later there's a storm of its own because of the shoelaces." Ask Darren to make sure.

"Sir, calm down."

Without thinking long they continue the jogging activity. But not until a few minutes Greysa again stopped to tie his shoelaces that were released then he ran again following Darren who was quite far in front of him. But it didn't happen once or twice, it was the fourth time Greysa stopped to tie his shoelaces.

"This is the shoelace why, mulu, off from earlier." Greysa said while tying his shoelaces in annoyance.

"I told you that I first checked the correct shoelaces so that nothing like this happened." Darren said crouching in front of Greysa and help tie Greysa's shoelaces so they don't come off again.

Greysa is shocked by Darren's actions as he does not expect Darren to do so. His heart started pounding, his cheeks started to turn a little red as he unintentionally looked into Darren's eyes who was also staring at him. He knows this is unnatural and should not happen but he also cannot control his feelings.

"Try checking the shoelaces of the other one if it's safe then we continue to run." Said Darren who wanted to check on Greysa's other shoes.

"o-oh don't have to let Mr. Grey check himself." Greysa said a little nervously.

"oh yaudah check the real thing if you need a tight re-bind but not tightness too." Darren stood up again.

"Yes sir."

After that they resumed their jogging activities until they reached a park that was quite crowded visited by people who were also running in the morning. Greysa looks for a seat to rest while Darren goes to buy a drink.

Greysa, who began to feel sultry, unzipped his jacket to look red shirt and a necklace with a blue jewel hanging from his neck.

Darren had just returned with two bottles of minerals in his hand and fell silent when he saw the necklace worn by Greysa.

"Sir!! Huh hello?! Mr Darren?!!" Greysa's slightly screaming made Darren wake up from his daydream.

"Huh-huh?! Yes why?" Darren said a little nervously.

"I am the one, Father why? come to daydream." Greysa said in astonishment.

"Oh no, oh yes this is your drink." Darren said giving one of the bottles of minerals in his hand.

"Thank You Sir." Greysa took the mineral bottle with a face that was still confused because of Darren's attitude but he also did not want to take a headache.

"Your necklace is beautiful." Darren said as he sat next to Greysa.

"meaning?"

"I don't know who this necklace is from but my mother said this necklace is loved by someone who means a lot to me first but I also don't know who the person is." Greysa.

Darren just fell silent while staring at the necklace with an inexplicable look. His gaze seemed to know the secrets and mysteries of what was behind the necklace.

"But usually beautiful is a lot of secrets behind her beauty, let alone a beautiful girl like you must keep a big secret." Darren joked.

"A secret makes a woman! if you say vermouth mah, btw thank you for saying I'm beautiful sir." Greysa said with a smile he was a little flattered to be praised by Darren.

"Like detective Conan huh?"

"I am also a famous detective like Sherlock Holmes." Greysa said confidently.

"Wouldn't you like to play music?" Ask Darren

"Detective is the main job of playing side-spelling music" explains Greysa

"sure to be able to do both?"

"Ye had a dream first sir who knows the true events if not granted both of them also gapapa." Greysa.

"Yes I support the important thing is never give up the future." Darren said with a smile.

After a long time they rested they returned to their homes. Darren drove Greysa home first and then he went home.

Arriving at home Greysa immediately cleaned himself by bathing and changing his clothes. After neat he went down and approached his mother who was busy making cakes.

"Let Grey help me." Greysa offered to help.

"Because you have taken a shower you helped enter the cake into the same box enter the small cake² that has been so it into the plastic continue to enter the box also after that you deliver it according to the note on the table." Say your mother while shaking the cake.

"When Greysa also wants to make a cake ma." Greysa said a little disappointed.

"Don't have to get your clothes dirty again if you want to help with the job you told me to do." Say mother.

"OK deh ma."

Greysa also obeyed his mother's remark he put a large cake that was already in the refrigerator into the box and opened a small cake and he put it in the box after that he drove the cake to the address it was written that he took on the table.

Greysa helped his mother for a full day because the order to be delivered that day was quite a lot and the location was also quite far so that the work was completed right at 8 pm.

After finishing, Greysa laid his body on the sofa because of fatigue. His mother Greysa brought food that had just been delivered by a bulge in front of Greysa. Without thinking long Greysa directly ate the food because his stomach was already rumbling from earlier.

between meals Greysa noticed the necklace worn by Greysa. The look of her mother's eyes changed immediately when she saw Greysa wearing the necklace. Greysa who noticed it immediately stopped eating it.

"Why ma?" ask Greysa

"You're wearing that necklace again? You're not papa, son? your head hurts?"

"I'm gapapa ma, mama why do I worry every time I wear this necklace?" Greysa asked in confusion as each time she wore the necklace her mother immediately looked at her with a worried look.

his mother Greysa was silent she did not answer questions from her daughter like she had hidden something about the necklace.

"I'm a gapapa ma, seriously! I'm not lying, I'm wearing this necklace because baby if it's not used because the necklace is beautiful." Greysa assured his mother.

"Also if you want to wear it, but if you why say the same mom, don't hold it yourself." Say mother.

"Yes ma." replied Greysa then he resumed eating.

actually, he wondered why his mother was worried every time he wore the necklace but he did not dare to ask that because he was afraid it would make his mother more worried. He thought let it open by itself as time went on even though it might hurt himself as long as it did not hurt his mother.
