Chapter 11

Sunlight felt piercing and breezy wind that felt so refreshing to make a girl who was still lazing in her bed not disturbed. All night serving the patient made him lose half of his power, he was Adora.

It's not the first time, but he hopes he can enjoy a relaxing time today. Usually at times like this the guy always asks her out.

“Argh!!” yelled Adora woke up from her sleep with a feeling of anger.

It seemed like the beautiful young Doctor was dreaming of something bad so he shouted like that.

“Damn it! Why should that man's face appear in my dreams? Moreover, Edward the brash even mocked me,” monologue Adora.

Adora's attention was distracted by a knock outside her room, she staggered towards the door of her room. When the door opened, Mama greeted her day with a sweet smile.

“Good day, Mama's firstborn!” greet him with a smile.

“Good afternoon Mama, sorry because I did not help ama in the kitchen,” Adora said while letting her Mama into the room.

“Hahaha, it's okay, baby. There's still an aunt helping Mama, besides you just came home this morning.”

“Thank you, Ma, oh yeah what's up Mama to my room? Usually Mama yells from below only,” Adora is a little confused with Mama who is different from usual.

The woman's face looks very happy, but Adora does not know what causes it. Usually if the mother wants to call him then he will scream from the bottom floor, his mother has a booming voice if she hears the scream of the Mama then Adora immediately woke up.

Adora also jumped excited to get the good news, who does not know with the Welly Group, a giant company in the world that ranks number one in the business market. Even better, the Welly Group is led by young entrepreneurs who managed to bring huge profits.

“Wait! Isn't the CEO of the Welly Group Edward Wellington?!”

Adora who had been smiling happily was suddenly moody and then sat up while propping up her chin. It made Emily's mistress astonished to see her daughter's expression immediately change when she learned the identity of the owner of the giant company.

“What's up, Adora? Are you having trouble with Mr Edward?”

“After night Mr Edward invited us to dinner at his residence, would you like to come?” ask Miss Emily.

Adora was only able to nod lethargic, however she was the firstborn so she had to attend a dinner together for a while. If he does not attend, it will make both parents ashamed.

“Alright, baby, get ready and get off breakfast,” said Mama before disappearing behind the door.

Then Adora directly carry out the orders of his mother, especially his stomach has been asked to be filled since earlier making him heartless if connecting his sleep that must be disturbed with the two men earlier.

Edward was just getting ready and now he was standing in front of the room of the younger brother who had not come out. “What if the twins won't forgive me?” zelleine asked in a soft, almost inaudible voice.

Edward hugged Zelleine's tiny body and rubbed her hair downwards. He was also worried about it, but this was also the fault of Zelleine who felt unsure of her own abilities.

Zelleine hesitantly nodded in agreement, shortly after, the two of them went downstairs to their Grandfather who was sitting talking with their Mother and Brother.

Zelleine turned to her second brother and chuckled at the face of the older brother who was heartless at not being praised.

Lady Bianca commented on a sweet smile seeing her children. Then he turned to the girl next to him who had not made a sound. That girl is Aluna.

Edward's family doesn't know that Aluna is having an affair with even Edward himself. He still hesitates to break his relationship with Edward, open because he still loves Edward, but because he does not want to lose the love of a Mother given by Bianca's mistress.

Actually, she didn't want to come to dinner tonight, but Miss Bianca forced her to come. I don't want Aluna to come.

Madam Bianca clasped Aluna's hand and chanted, "What's wrong?"

Aluna immediately hid her discomfort from lying with a smile.

"I'm fine, Mother," Aluna replied.

"Good," replied Lady Bianca.

Shortly after, the doorbell rang. A waiter in the house immediately opened the door for a guest out there.

"Welcome, Mr. Gerry!" greet Edward after knowing his guest is his co-worker.

Edward knitted his eyebrows when he saw the girl next to Emily's mistress who was none other than Adora. The girl looked at Edward.

'What's wrong with that shitty girl?' edward asked.

"Please sit!" mr. Alfred invited his guests to sit down.

"How is this?" muttered Aluna who was afraid that her secret would be revealed.

"What's wrong with you, Aluna?" ask lady Bianca.

Aluna shook her head slowly in response to a question from the woman she had considered her own mother.

"Oh yes, this is my fourth daughter" Gerry said on the sidelines of the conversation.

"Geez, it turns out that Doctor Adora is your son, sir?" mr. Alfred looks in disbelief.

"Yes, do you know him?"

"Of course, sir. Doctor Adora is the Doctor who will be in charge of Mother's surgery" Yunifer replied.

"It's an honor to serve the mistress, miss," Adora replied with a smile etched on her lips.

After getting acquainted, there was no silence. Edward immediately pushes Zelleine towards the twins.

"I was representing the Wellington family and apologized for the childish actions of my sister, Zelleine," Edward said.

Mr. Gerry and Mrs Emily were silent, to be honest they were angry when they found out their twins were being treated improperly by their classmates.

Edward who noticed the change in the face of his guest immediately encouraged Zelleine and told her to apologize for her mistake.

With doubt Zelleine walked over, she was afraid that she would not be forgiven.

"Pardon me for my actions all along!" zelleine exclaimed with her face down.

"We have forgiven you, Zelleine," Thania replied sincerely.

"I hope you don't repeat the same mistake again in the future" Thalita added.

The sparkling Zelleine heard their reply instantly nodded steadily. "I promise it won't happen again!"

"Whoever and wherever?" ask Thalia.

Again Zelleine responded with a steady nod of her head. He has promised not to repeat the mistake, just until here he behaved badly.

After apologizing to the twins, Zelleine hesitantly approached Adora making Adora herself confused.

"I'm sorry, Doctor, please save my mother," Zelleine's words jolted Adora.

Adora couldn't have been that long until she had to forget her duties just because of personal problems. A second later he smiled and stroked Zelleine's blond mane.

"Just calm down, little lady. I'm a professional doctor who knows how to distinguish between my personal and my work matters" Adora said.

"Thank you, Doctor!" zelleine exclaimed with spirit.

After Zelleine apologized to the twins' parents, their conversation continued with a discussion about business. Of course Adora was bored but he had to maintain manners so that his parents did not feel embarrassed.

"Let's start the dinner, then" Bianca asked her guests.

They were all together heading to the Wellington family dining room. In the living room only left Aluna and Adora who did not budge.

Adora finally stood up and walked over to Aluna and whispered something to her.

"Calm down, miss I won't expose your affair with that man, but know you have to say it or it won't be fatal" Adora told Aluna.

"You!" show Aluna in front of Adora's face.

"Yes, why?" ask Adora with her comfort.

An annoyed Aluna went straight from before him, then, Adora followed from behind before she was considered impolite for joining too late.

Adora circled her car with a small cradle enjoying the fresh air in the morning. He deliberately took these quiet streets so that he felt a little peace before work.

When cool driving, Adora's eyes stopped on the car in front of her that was running carelessly. It seemed like the driver was drunk, slowly Adora followed the car from behind.

Suddenly there was a gunshot that didn't know where it was coming from. Adora immediately stepped on the brakes of her car until her head hit the steering wheel of the car.

"Where did the shot come from?" adora's monologue with a wondering feeling.

However, he kept the question in his mind because the shot was directed at the driver in front of him. Maybe because he realized someone was after him, the driver immediately dodged so he lost his balance and his car hit a tree on the side of the road.

Adora ran to check the condition of the driver, he was surprised to see the driver was a person he knew. Edward was the victim of this accident.

The man's appearance was ragged with blood flowing through his abdomen, the white shirt Edward wore was filled with blood due to a second shot that sounded from his stomach as he had weakened.

"Mr Edward!" adora immediately started first aid.

"Miss.. ce..," he had not yet finished his words he was unconscious.

Coincidentally, some motorcyclists who passed by, Adora asked them to help them lift Edward's body to Adora's car.

"Miss, you'd better accompany the master in the back, let me drive," bargained one of them.

"Alright, then thank you, sir" Adora replied.

Finally Adora's car is on its way to the hospital with a young boy driving while Adora holds Edward's head.

Adora also told the hospital to prepare the operating room.

Within fifteen minutes, they had finally reached the hospital. Some nurses put Edward's body in a gurney and took him home.

Not to forget also Adora thanked the young man who wanted to drive them.

Adora immediately performs a rescue operation on Edward who has officially become his patient. The hospital also informed the patient's family.

On the other hand, a girl who had just gotten bad news from a woman whom she already thought her own mother was shocked. That's Aluna.

His ex-girlfriend Edward gets into an accident after last night learning that Aluna is cheating on him. Aluna sat down and cried regretting her decision to hide her relationship with Charlie until she was ready to tell Edward.
