Chapter 12

Edward glanced at the sweet circular watch on his right hand. When it was seven o'clock in the evening, he'd been working all day.

"I haven't seen Aluna in a long time, maybe a week ago?" edward's monologue walked out of his room.

After a few minutes, Edward was driving to Aluna's apartment. Not to forget also he told his mother first that he would come home late.

On the way, Edward called the lover but there was no answer from across. Suddenly he was worried that Aluna was in danger.

With above average speed, Edward drove his car.

Fifteen minutes later, Edward pulled out of his car and drove to Aluna's fourth-floor apartment.

"I hope you're okay, baby," said Edward.

Arriving in front of the apartment, Edward immediately entered because he knew the code of Aluna's apartment. Somehow his premonition was very bad, he immediately called Aluna's name but there was no reason at all.

Seeing that Aluna was graciously embraced by Charlie making Edward hot on the spot, he clenched his hands.

Aluna took off Charlie's embrace and ran to embrace Edward. Edward and Charlie are both shocked by Aluna's sudden actions.

"I'm sorry! I can't lie to my feelings, I still love Charlie who is my little best friend, sorry." the voice sounded trembling.

"..." - ".Edward just kept quiet not talking, he also did not return Aluna's embrace.

"Thank you for all this time" said Aluna sobbing and releasing her embrace.

"Cih, well," Edward replied disappointedly.

He thought the hug given by Aluna was a hug because Aluna still loved him turned out to be a goodbye hug after five years of being in a relationship.

Without a word Edward left Aluna's apartment feeling angry, disappointed, and sad mixed into one.

Meanwhile, Aluna wants to hold Edward back but, prevented by Charlie.

"Do you love her?" ask Charlie directly.

"Not so-" Aluna had not finished her words, Charlie had already refuted.

"Then why do you want to hold him?"

Aluna wiped her tears and hugged Charlie. "We've been in a relationship for a long time, I just want to explain this in detail, I don't love him anymore, believe me!"

"He was in a coma for a certain period of time, we don't even know when he will wake up" Adora replied.

Madam Bianca immediately sat down limp to hear that her only son was in a coma. His heart was pierced with pain when he found out that his son was not doing well.

"Come, doctor," the man who turns out to be her co-worker Bella invites Adora.

Adora followed them without hesitation, perhaps Edward's best friend, he thought.

Arriving at the hospital park, Adora is welcome to sit on a bench and follow Ronan.

"Include me Rowan and I are Ronan's twin brothers, we are Edward's best friends" a man with the same face as Ronan spoke up.
