CHAPTER 19

Today, after college I have an appointment with Kelvin if you want to learn trading again. Angel and I split up in front of the campus. Angel came home to the boarding house while I waited for an invitation from Kelvin in front of the campus.

I chose to wait for Kelvin's invitation by sitting on one of the benches provided in front of my campus.

The hot sun this afternoon felt very stinging in my body. I tried to look at the other benches near me that were not as bright as my place, but none of them were empty.

The clock has now shown at 14:30, whereas Kelvin promised me, he will pick me up right at my hour home at 14:00.

I started to feel hungry and my head felt like it was on fire, because it had been a few minutes I was under this very hot sun.

I finally tried to send a message to Kelvin to ask him where he was and there was no reply from Kelvin. Then, I tried to call Kelvin and it turned out that his phone was off.

I am now worried about Kelvin's condition and doubt whether Kelvin remembers today's appointment.

In the middle of me being busy with my phone, I suddenly felt someone standing right in front of me so slightly blocking the scorching sun that stung my body. I immediately raised my head and was quite surprised to find out who was in front of me.

“Kakk..” Spontaneous I said when I saw Brother Jeff in front of me.

“Ngapain?” Ask Brother Jeff in a flat tone while thrusting a plain black hat at me.

“Well sit here, don't take care of that. That's no problem.” He said as he pulled my hand back and directed me to sit on one of the benches near the noodle seller under the tree.

“Why haven't you had lunch?” Jeff asked me after he also sat down beside me.

“Hmm... was not perfect, during the day break I work duty. The deadline after the break was immediately collected,” I replied explaining.

“Trus from when do you wait for your unclear friend?” Ask in a flat tone back.

“Around two o'clock. I just finished class at that hour." I replied by keeping a close watch from a distance whether Kelvin had arrived or not.

“Cowok not responsible.” He said in a slower voice while sighing like he was looking annoyed.

I was quite surprised when he said that. I'm confused how he knew that the friend I was referring to was Kelvin, a guy.

“Kok know that my friend is a boy?” I asked carefully for fear that Jeff was angry.

“And when we met in front of your boarding gate, you came home from a guy and you told me it was your friend.” He said in a slightly off tone but looked a little panicked.

“Ohh yes. Hehehe forgot that Big Brother ever knew about it.” I said with a small smile.

“Friends where is it? How like I've never seen it on campus here,” asked Jeff Kak back to me.

“He's not on campus here. He is from the University of Harapan. He was my best friend when High School Kak,” reply I explained a little about Kelvin.

“Ohh. Hmm, btw we have never officially acquaintance yes.” Said Brother Jeff suddenly while extending his hand to me which with a bit of clumsiness I returned the hand.

“Mas, this is the order.” Suddenly said the brother of the noodle seller while carrying two bowls of ready-made noodles in the middle we still just met each other.

“Eat first, later continue chatting again.” He said while giving a bowl of noodles in his hand to me with a glance I saw the look of his face was not as flat as before.

I immediately ate this bowl of noodles that still fragrant because it had just finished cooking and beside me Jeff also immediately ate a bowl of noodles in his hand.

Without them both realizing, from a distance precisely in front of the campus gate, now three girls are observing the two of them who are eating together, he said, and one of the people seemed very upset to see the closeness of the two of them.

We both ate in silence with each other. Jeff ate a lot faster than I did.

“Ehh Claireee.. drink first, nih.” Kelvin said he handed me a bottle of water beside me.

I immediately accepted it and drank the water.

“No less long late you?” Said Jeff's brother who was next to Kelvin after paying.

Kelvin looks confused because he does not recognize Jeff.

“Gue Jeff, Classmate Claire.” Brother Jeff said as he extended his hand to Kelvin.

“Gue Kelvin, High School Friend Claire.” Kelvin said while replying to Brother Jeff's hand.

“So she's baek-baek, don't you stay or justin she waited alone for long ago like that. I don't like people who are not responsible.” Brother Jeff said a little whispered in Kelvin's ear but still I could hear well.

After talking like that, Jeff immediately took his jacket that was beside me and immediately left me and Kelvin without saying goodbye to me or Kelvin.

In college today I feel tired, especially when I lack sleep.

I still have to drop Jeje's back from college. The intention is to go home from campus I go directly to where Jeje continues to go directly to Jeje, and balek costs to sleep.
