CHAPTER :09

Adriana tried to cover her cheeks that met, she averted her gaze.

"Jeffrey" Call Adriana, Jeffrey smiles and replies, "Yes, Miss What's Wrong?" Ask her.

"How do you know Carla?" Adriana asked while staring at her bead eyes. Jeffrey then replied, "At college, he was my only friend" he replied casually.

"Oh, so you're old friends?"

"Yes, But..." Jeffrey stopped saying, "But What?" Adriana curious.

"Ah no, Miss" Jeffrey moved from his seat then looked at Adriana, "Miss, can I take a few days off?" Jeffrey asked.

Adriana was silent for a moment. Then he nodded, "Alright, you seem to have a lot of trouble. Take a few days off"

"Thank you, Miss"

After the meal was over, Jeffrey and Adriana parted ways with Jeffrey returning to his boarding house but Adriana followed suit. He was wondering where Jeffrey really was.

Jeffrey reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, there were several messages and missed calls from his father.

Deep : Son, come home you forgot today is your birthday, papa has prepared everything. And there was also a meeting between other businessmen they wanted papa's son to be present, so I'll go home soon. 

Jeffrey gave a rough breath, he packed his things and saw in front of his hostel there were already several bodyguards waiting for him.

"Excuse me, your young master is in your father's care to pick you up" said one of the bodyguards.

Jeffrey nodded and commanded, "Alright. Bring my goods² to the car" he said then Jeffrey first get into his luxury car.

ENGLAND, 8 P.M 

With several bodyguards in tow, Jeffrey walked out of the airport. He was a little surprised because of someone who was yelling at him.

"Jeffrey..." When Jeffrey looked back it turned out to be his friends, Drew, Erick and Deon.

"Kok you know I'm back?" Jeffrey asked in astonishment, his best friend just laughed then patted his shoulder, "Secret dong... Why the hell? We're missing too" Drew said.

Jeffrey brushed Drew's hand off and nenjitak, "Geli anjir kangen kangeenan" ketus Jeffrey.

"Currently, amused is the position of njir, yes yuk yuk back" Invite Drew. The four of them finally got into the same car.

While in the car the three of them asked Jeffrey endlessly, how was it there, how now Carla looks and much more until Jeffrey was upset by the question.

HOMECOMING 

Jeffrey was greeted warmly by his family who turned out to be Aunt, om and also other nephews.

"Of Jeffrey..." Shouted a little boy who ran towards Jeffrey, he immediately hugged Jeffrey and then Jeffrey carried him.

"Steven, you've grown up" said Jeffrey. "Yes, Steven's 7 years old huh!" Steven replied, which made Jeffrey so fat that he pinched his cheek.

"Ihhh..! Mama om naughty" Steven to Maya, "Had you guys this is yes" Maya just shook her head then approached Jeffrey.

"Son, haven't seen each other in a long time.How are you?" Maya asks, "Well Auntie, if Aunt herself?"

"Together. You grow up to be very handsome, must have had a girlfriend" Tempta Maya who made Jeffrey speechless and the whole house laugh because of Jeffrey's cheeks that meet.

Upon realizing that Jeffrey quickly shook his head, "No Aunt. Jeffrey's single" he said lying after remembering about Carla who even stayed away from him.

"Haha, Maya she's her son doesn't care about the couple" Deep's voice clearly makes Jeffrey look at her. "if it's been so long since the marriage, the age is ripe for marriage" Maya advises

"I don't want that Pa, Auntie. I just want to focus on my career" Jeffrey said.

On the other side of Europe 

Adriana, who knew Jeffrey wasn't in Europe, looked up at the star-filled night sky and then monologued: I don't know where you're going, but I'll be waiting for you back. I'm sure you're only temporary... I really miss you Jeffrey! 

After a while, his phone rang and he picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Ana, what are you?" Sounds clear it was the voice of Della her best friend

"Oh, what's up" in short, "btw what's wrong you malem call me?" Ask Adriana

'TING.... 

A message from Della who entered his phone, Della sent a photo of someone with the caption: Here's the person who is Lo Rinduin, right? Haha... 

When she saw the photo of Jeffrey wearing a formal black suit, Adriana was stunned and smiled happily.

"God! This phone is still on woy don't forget" Ketus Della who felt in the nuts when she sent the message.

Aware of that, Adriana quickly asked, "Lo got a photo of her from where?" Adriana is curious.

Della laughed, she changed the voice call to vidcall. After that Adriana lifted her up.

Della directs the camera to Jeffrey who is seen eating.

"Where do you believe in gk?" Della mocked.

Adriana was surprised, but she was happy to see the man she missed when she had just left for a day, "You are so handsome.." Mumbled.

"Udah ah, Lo's pleasure" seduced Della then turned her camera to her, "Ishhh I still want to see! Lo butek bosen's face I see it"

The connection suddenly interrupted, Adriana was disappointed because she was not satisfied to see the amazing Jeffrey. But he still had his picture and he made it his phone wallpaper.

"Kok, Ish bang ntar she's angry" upset Della when her connection is cut off.

"It's another meal together, see? Jamu's still playing with the phone it's not polite" Drew advised his sister Della.

They were all eating quietly, there was a bit of conversation and joking in between.

"Jeff, Lo tomorrow I'll see you"

"Where? Gw mager why gk with Erick or Deon" Jeffrey refused

Drew sighed then said, "Temenin is yok... You know what ? I'm now setting up a studio and now I'm going to produce a movie, I need a male lead" Drew said, trying to persuade Jeffrey.

Jeffrey frowned, "Trus? What's gw?" Ask her

"So the main character, I know you ever wanted to be an actor" replied Drew.

"Gw? Can't! Oh, my God, it's true" Jeffrey again refused, but Deep suddenly spoke, "Go son. I know if you really do not want to be CEO or take care of the company, because papa is forcing you to forget your initial ideals. You can be an actor and while taking care of the company"

Jeffrey was stunned, he was actually happy with this yet he squinted his eyes at his best friend. He thought after he had been gone these few months that many secrets had been leaked by them.

"All right, I'll come along. Just tell me what time I'll be ready"
