The Last Breath

A month later...

Slowly Rani opens her eyes and spreads her gaze throughout the room, to her surprise Rani sees her Daddy and Mommy Rey sitting on the couch and Daddy smiling at her while Mommy is asleep on the couch.

Rey is out to meet with the doctor who has been handling Rani, Rey accompanied by Kiandra and Doctor Imelda.

"Of...Aunty" said Rani lirih.

Daddy got up from his seat and walked to Rani's bed.

"Thank God you're aware of Rani" Daddy said.

"Rani where is Om, this room is very different from the previous room?" ask Rani.

"We're in a hospital out of the country, Rey brought you here" Daddy replied.

"Rey" Rani said as she looked at every corner of the room, like she was looking for someone.

"Are you looking for Rey? He's been seeing the doctor who's been taking care of you" Daddy said.

Daddy sat down next to Rani and took Rani's hand and rubbed her.

"Hold Rani, you must heal.You must live happily with Rey, don't let your pain become a barrier to your happiness" said Daddy.

Daddy cut Rani's words "No buts! Om don't want to hear any reason.Do you have the heart to leave Rey alone? his love for you is so great, you're so sad that you don't live with him" Daddy said with a smile.

"Rani promises, Rani will be healed" said Rani on her lips, but not with her heart.Hati Rani felt sore when saying that, because she knew her age was soon.

"What is your wish, can I know it?" rey asked in a trembling voice as it held back her cries.

Rani again weakened and her breathing seemed to be stingy, her hand touch on Rey's cheek getting weaker.

"I...ing..in meli..hatmu is together..kuh in sa...at ter seconds....end...ku" said Rani terstata.Rey holding the hand of Rani who touched his cheek.

Daddy wakes Mommy up and approaches Rani and Rey.

"I'll always be with you, I'll never leave you" did not feel the tears of Rey dripping.She has strengthened her heart with what will happen.Especially after hearing the words of the Doctor who dealt with Rani,that Rani's hope of recovery is only ten percent.

Doctors ran into the room when they heard emergency sirens from the room.

When she saw the Doctor finished examining Rani and shook her head Rey immediately hugged and shook Rani's body.She cried roaring as hard as she could.

All that was there was silence, letting Rey let go of all the sadness of her heart.

"Twenty years you made me wait and now you're gone again, how many more years should I wait for you? tell Rani how many years I have to wait for you" Rey said in between tears.

She continues to mourn Rani's departure.

Rey reached into her pants pocket and took out the bracelet that she had once given to Rani.Rey again put the bracelet into Rani's hand, then kissed her.

"Wear this bracelet and don't get lost, so I can recognize you someday when you return" Rey said.

"Sorry sir, we have to take care of Miss's body immediately" said one of the hospital officials.

"Come on Bang" Daddy said as he patted Rey on the shoulder.

"Just Daddy, give Rey a minute" Rey asked.

Rey collapsed on Rani's body, then cried while continuing to talk.Rey vented all his heart on Rani.Keep long enough Rey crying over Rani's body.

"Rey stay away from my body, you're heavy.Partially we haven't been muhrim" someone told Rey.

Ray sat on the floor leaning against the bed.

Rani put her body on the bed.

"Rey I'm thirsty, can you get me some water to drink" Rani said.

Rey stopped her crying, Rani's voice now sounded very real in her ears.Rey rose from his seat and looked at Rani's bed.Rey's eyes widened to see Rani who was sitting.

"Am I dreaming?" ask Rey.

As powerful as Rani slaps Rey's cheek.

"Awh" cried Rey who immediately ran out of the room.

"Rey goes where, do you want me to die of thirst" Rani shouted in a soft voice.

Rey called the Doctor in front of the room.

"Doctor...Rani is still alive" Rey said with sparkling eyes.

Daddy hugged Rey's body, thinking Rey was shaken and unable to accept Rani's departure.

The doctor entered the room to confirm the words of Rey.Kiandra and Doctor Imelda also entered the room.Not long after Kiandra came out again.

"Bang, in search of Rani's sister" Kiandra said.

"So Rani's really alive?" ask Daddy.

"Yes Dad and the doctor decided this afternoon that they would have surgery" Kiandra replied.

Daddy, Mommy and Rey enter the room, while Kiandra leaves to prepare the operating room.

Daddy pulls Doctor's hand a little away from Rey and Rani.

"How's Dok doing?" ask Daddy.

"Everything is back to normal, it's a miracle from God and I don't want to delay any more, we have to do the surgery this afternoon as well" said the doctor.

"Can't we save the womb again Doc?" ask Mommy.

"We'll see you later Madam, hopefully we can remove the cancer without having to remove the uterus" replied the Doctor.

Doctor, Daddy and Mommy come back to Rani and Rey.

"Your condition has improved a little, the plan is this afternoon we will perform the operation.Are you ready?" ask the doctor about Rani.

Rani looks at Rey, Daddy and Mommy alternately.Daddy and Mommy nod,Rey tightens her grip to give Rani strength.

"I'm ready Doctor" replied Rani.

"Well, excuse me" said the doctor.

Mommy climbed into Rani's bed and hugged her future daughter-in-law.

"Don't be afraid, we'll all be with you" Mommy said.

"Thank you Auntie" said Rani.

The door of the room opened, Kiandra entered the room and lay on the bed where Doctor Imelda used to sleep.

"Kiandra, did your sister call you today?" ask Daddy.

"So he called this morning, he said he was busy working" Kiandra replied.

Daddy let out a long sigh, he couldn't prevent his daughter's wish.

"Where's ilda?" ask Mommy.

"Accompanying Doctor Lois" Kiandra replied, from her tone of speech like there was dislike when she mentioned Doctor Lois' name.

Rey tells Rani to rest, Rani complies.After Rani falls asleep, Rey approaches Kiandra.

"Are you starting to put your heart on Imelda?" Rey Goda.

"What the hell is it, it's not very good" Kiandra said.

"One month you're here with Imelda, but the phone number you don't have.See Lois has just been here a week, she already has an Imelda number" Rey provoked her sister's emotions.
