Mother Or Baby

Rey felt the heat on her body, Rey opened her eyes and touched Rani's forehead.

"Jeez you have a fever baby" Rey said.

Rey got out of her bed and took the clothes in the closet and put them on.

"I have to take him to the Doctor" Rey murmured.

Rey went into the bathroom to wash her face, then ran out of her room to prepare the car.

"Let's go to the hospital" Rey took her while carrying Rani's body and took her to the car.

Rey put Rani on the back bench, after which Rey got into the car and drove her car directly towards the hospital.

While on the way, Rey contacted the Doctor who used to handle Rani and asked the Doctor to prepare in front of the hospital.

"Why did Rani get a sudden fever? is it because he's too stressed to think about the surgery he's going to have next week" Rey monologues.

They have arrived at the Hospital, Rey parked her car.Doctors and some nurses are waiting for Rani in front of the hospital as per Rey's request.

"Help Mr. Rey move Rani to the gurney" the doctor orders several nurses.

After Rani lay perfectly in the gurney, the nurses took Rani with them.

"Sir wait here, I'll check on Rani" said the doctor.

Rey nodded.

Rey pulls out her phone and calls her Daddy and says that Rani has a fever and Rey takes Rani to the Hospital.

"Rey, how's Rani doing?" ask Daddy who came with Mommy.

"Rey also doesn't know Dad, the doctor is still checking on him" Rey replied lethargic.

Mommy sits next to Rey and rubs Rey's back gently."Pray, may Rani be all right" Mommy said.

"Last night she expressed concern for Rey Mom, she was afraid there was a problem with her pregnancy" Rey said.

Rey tells about her conversation last night with Rani and about Rani's unease about the surgery she is about to perform.

"Mommy also had a cesarean when Mommy was seven months old Rey" Mommy said.

Mom and Dad were surprised to hear that.

Rey shook her head, "No Dad, she never even complained in the slightest.She was always smiling and cheerful" Rey replied.

"How's the last result he cheked up?" ask Mommy.

Rey lowered her head, "Rey never drove her to check up Mom, every Rey volunteered to drive her Rani always refused.She preferred to go with Ema" Rey replied.

Daddy let out a rough sigh, then looked at Rey sharply.

"Are you so stupid, forcing a Rani just can't" Daddy said in an emotional tone.

"Rey thinks with Rey giving her freedom Rey can make her happy Dad and that Rey sees Rani is happy.Every time she comes home from the chek up she always stops by the office and tells the results of her check up cheerful and happy, his smile always expands to decorate his face" said Rey.

The door of the room opened, the doctor came out of the room.

"Can you come to my room, Mr Rey?" ask Doctor.

Rey nodded.

Rey, Daddy, and Mommy follow Doctor's steps into his room.

"Please sit down" said the doctor.

"What's up Doc?" ask Daddy.

"Did Rani never tell you about her current condition?" ask Doctor.

"What is this Doctor?" Daddy asked back.

"Since the age of the womb Rani entered the age of four months,her cancer is growing again and more malignant than ever.I advise Rani to abort her womb because if it is maintained it is very dangerous for Rani as well as her baby.But Rani refused and still kekeh maintain her womb.I have asked Rani to bring Rey here, but Rani says Rey is busy and Rey already knows her condition" said the doctor.

"So how's Rani doing now?" ask Rey.

The doctor sighed then looked at Rey sharply.

"You have to choose your mother or baby" replied the doctor.

Rey's body limp heard that.

"You're an adult, Daddy believes you can make the right decision" Daddy said.

"You have to be stoic Rey, you have to be strong" Mommy said.

The door opened without a tap.The nurse came in with a panicked face.

"Sorry Doctor, the patient has a seizure" the nurse said.

The doctor moved and immediately ran towards Rani's room regardless of Daddy, Mommy and Rey.

"Dad" said Rey.

Daddy put his arm around his son's shoulder, "Trust me everything will be fine" Daddy comforted.

Mommy pacing in front of the room.

"Lang" said Opa as he ran over to Daddy, Mommy and Rere.

"Father" said Daddy.

"What happened to Rani?" ask Opa.

Daddy told Opa what he knew and listened seriously, after which Opa hugged Rey.

"Don't be weak, you have to be strong.Your strength is the spirit for Rani" Opa said.

The doctor came out of the room.

"We do not have time anymore.You have to determine who should be saved.Mother or baby" said the doctor.

The nurse pushed Rani's gurney and stopped because Opa told her to stop.

"Reply bring it to the operating room" the doctor ordered.

Daddy rubbed Rey's body which almost collapsed towards the operating room.The lights of the operating room have been turned on.

The sound of footsteps approached the Alberto Family.

"Rey" call Ema.

Rey looked at the source of the voice.

"Why didn't you tell me about Rani?" rey asked.The cheeks were wet with tears.

"I'm sorry Rey, Rani asked that I keep it a secret.If I tell you Rani threatened me, she would leave us all behind" Ema replied.

"Rey, we just pray that everything is okay.Now is not the time to blame each other" Opa said.

Andre approached Rey and rubbed Rey's back to give her strength.
