Apology Johan's Father

Afternoon greet with beautiful colors. In a JFB office. Keyan never stopped smiling, today he was really happy. A change in taste in his wife's tongue is a sign that Valonia is in a difficult period in early pregnancy. Keyan glanced at the luxurious clock in his hand, he sighed wasting his fatigue. Keyan tidied up his desk and saved the files he was working on. I can't wait to get to the hospital to see his wife.

With a heavy heart, Keyan went to the office. After his wife was transferred to the hospital room because of the office work that he could not leave. Today Keyan asked Endi to share the bonus for all of his employees as a gratitude to Keyan for the pregnancy of Valonia Jasmine. Not only that, Keyan also asked Endi to channel help to orphanages and nursing homes. Congratulations were not spared from Endi and Derry. Employees receive happy bonuses that go into their accounts. Their best prayers go out to Valonia and her fetus.

"To the hospital or to go home first, sister ?" Derry asked as he opened the car door. This man is still loyal to Keyan's side as his driver.

"To the shopping mall first. I'll buy milk for Jasmine."

"All right." Derry drove the car to the shopping mall. She was also happy to hear the news of Valonia's pregnancy. Now he understood why Keyan's wife suddenly wanted to eat at his house. After hearing Marisa's mother cook a meat stew.

At the hospital Valonia is forced to eat by Mother Arini. For the sake of the fetus in the womb, Valonia tried to swallow food that was bribed by Mother Arini. Not yet the food was swallowed Valonia vomited it.

The one who came was Johan's father. I don't know where he knew Valonia was being treated today. The middle-aged man stepped closer towards the gurney. Her eyes were warm like never before. His hands stretched out gently rubbed the head of Valonia Jasmine.

"How's Dad's grandson doing ?"

Valonia looked directly at Johan's father.  He was trying to find a safe way for his baby. "He's healthy." Answer's short. It feels like the oxygen around him is thinning. He took a slow breath so as not to be discovered if he was currently very tense and nervous.

"Thank God. What do you want to eat ? Let me find him." Johan's father sat on the edge of the gurney. There was a smile on his face. This time the aura is so different there is affection along with his arrival.

Valonia shook her head quickly. "Nothing." He was afraid this trap that ended in his fetus. It could be that this man in front of her was pretending to be nice to her.

"Arini can leave us both."

Valonia's eye beads immediately moved towards Mother Arini. He asked her from his eyes not to leave him.

"All right." The Father of Johan. "Valonia, I came here to apologize to you. I am aware of my mistakes and selfishness all along. Keyan's happiness is paramount and it's on you. Therefore I want to repair our broken relationship. I want to apologize to you for everything I've done."

Valonia was surprised. But not just believe it. He knew very well how Johan's father had behaved to him all along. But he could also see there was hope in the middle-aged man's eye bead. Valonia and Mommy Arini stared in disbelief at Johan's father.

"Are you serious ?" Mother Arini looked at her husband's face.

The iris of Mother Arini's eyes is reddened and teary. She was overwhelmed by the desire of her husband. "Thank you, Dad." The call of love was spoken lightly from the lips of mother Arini.

Johan's father's heart warmed to see the wife's sincere smile. An almost invisible smile during the breakup with their only son. His soul calmed down after hearing the affectionate call from Mother Arini.  "From now on, Valonia also calls Dad. No more words, you and me."

"Yes, A—ayah." Valonia is staggered because she is not used to it. "Thank you for accepting me and blessing our marriage." He pulls Johan's father's palm and kisses his back. Missed out on that scene. During this time Valonia only kissed the back of Papa Zaki's hand after the departure of the father. A single tear represents Valonia's haru feeling.

Again the feelings of Johan's father were spoiled. Valonia stole his heart. There has never been a woman other than Mother Arini who kissed the back of her hand in all this time. Even if it was Tita the girl he chose for his daughter-in-law. And today his own daughter-in-law treated him with respect. Johan's father pulled Valonia to her feet, gently rubbing her son-in-law's shoulders. She knew the pregnant woman was sensitive. Johan's father deliberately let Valonia spill all her tastes in his arms.

"You are like Mother, when pregnant Keyan also often go to the hospital because he does not want to eat rice." Johan's father chuckled to tears. He recalled the struggle of Mother Arini when pregnant with her son.

"If you don't want to eat rice, you can replace it with boiled sweet potatoes." Johan's father, who had moved, sat on the sofa. The middle-aged man felt the crush of the burden on his chest during this time slightly loosened.

Mother Arini called Bi Noni to prepare Valonia's request. Then she moved to the sofa sitting next to her husband. They talked about pregnancy.

While conversing, Keyan came with two large crackers in his hand. He came alone because Derry had to go home first. He promised to take Marisa's mother to visit Valonia tonight.

Keyan's step stopped seeing the figure he missed so far sitting casually with Mother Arini. Not only that, Johan's father also smiled at him.

"Dear." Keyan took a quick step towards the gurney. He kissed Valonia softly on the forehead and hugged her tightly. He was very afraid to see his father in the room. As Valonia is pregnant, Keyan fears his father is hurting his wife.

"Don't hug your son-in-law too tightly, Key ! He's having a hard time breathing." Reprimand Johan's father from where he sat. His eyes stared at the warning.

Keyan loosened his arms and turned to face his father. "Holy-ass-do ?"

"Yes, Valonia's your wife, right ? Automatically father-in-law."

Keyan let go of his embrace and then stepped onto the sofa. "Can you explain, I don't want any ulterior motive from my father's arrival." His Netra stared suspiciously.

Johan's father could understand his son's gaze. He took a deep breath and said." I'm sorry for you. For the treatment of the father so far, the father has apologized to Mother and also Valonia. I want to fix everything, Key ! I bless you and accept Valonia as Dad's son-in-law."

"Dad sure ?" Keyan did not want to quickly believe even though his heart was screaming happy and happy.

"I've forgiven you. I'm also sorry if I've been defiantly against you all this time. Thank you for accepting my wife and also for blessing our marriage." Keyan stood up and hugged his father. Channeling her longing all this time.

"Thank you, son." Johan's father patted Keyan on the shoulder. The father and son dissolved in their sobs. The feud of several years had disappeared this afternoon.

"What did you buy, son?" Mother Arini broke the novelty of father and son. He is also happy and grateful that Keyan and Johan's father's relationship has improved.

"I bought pregnant women's milk with some flavor. I also bought some bread who knows who Jasmine wants."

"If Valonia does not want to eat rice, it can be replaced with bread or boiled sweet potatoes. Your mother used to be like that too." Johan's father took a look at Keyan's groceries.

"really ?"

"Yes. Mother had asked Bi Noni to bring your change of clothes and boil sweet potatoes. Coincidentally, Valonia also wants to eat vegetables."

"You want some more vegetables, baby."

"Yes, I tried to eat porridge but I was nauseous." Valonia answered while reading the milk box her husband had bought.

"If there's something you want to eat, tell me. As much as I can fulfill your wish." Keyan pressed his palm against Valonia's flat stomach.

"It looks like it's dusk. Dad came home first. Tomorrow if Valo is allowed to go home, I'll go straight to your house. Mommy's coming home isn't it?" Johan's father intended to go home and offer his wife. He deliberately gave space to the child and his daughter-in-law.

"Mother is fine if you want to go home. Mami Dilla will also be here." Valonia smiled reassuringly if she was okay.

"Alright, then Mommy comes home now with Dad. If there's anything you're telling Mother."

Johan's father and Mother Arini left Valonia's ward. They came home with a calm heart.
