CHAPTER 24: SEUNG HO, BIRTHDAY !

Right on his birthday, Seung Ho looked at his mother softly at the edge of the counter. He still could not forgive everything his parents did. His desire to achieve dreams was opposed by his father. The wrong desire harbors Seung Ho's entire feeling back then by leaving the house. Seung Ho breathed a long breath. For an hour he had only seen Kang Hae Joo, his mother standing still at the end of the cafe bench. He was accompanied by a cup of tea at his desk. There was something that kept him from leaving. He was eager to talk to his son after all this time, maybe it was the right time for him to make a change. Seung Ho notices his mother, he decides to budge with the situation. If it wasn't like this, her mother wouldn't have come home before meeting her.

Seung Ho gives another cup of Tea to his mother calmly despite the burden he has hidden. To be honest, he did not want to meet his mother. He did not want to deal with her again, after everything expelled him now inversely asking for requests. Seung Ho sits in front of his mother. Looks cold and calm. Silence without sound. They look at each other. Her mother smiled happily, as Seung Ho appeared before her now.

“you look mature now !!” Hae Joo said slowly watching Seung Ho's change that looks quite handsome.

“want what mom is here?” Seung Ho looked at Hae Joo coldly without a smile.

“happy birthday, I want to say this to you.” Hae Joo replied holding Seung Ho's hand hoping he could forgive his mother.

“if you have, better go home. I don't want you to look for mom until late like this.” Seung Ho stands up from his stool. He finished talking to her. But Seung Ho's hand is held by Hae Joo, making his son see him.

“come home, son…!! We miss you.” Pinta Hae Joo who also stood by Seung Ho. The man looked at him. A mother's request is made in her eyes. Seung Ho can't see it. He turned his eyes to the hand of his mother who was still holding him.

“my place is here, ma'am. I don't want to be a burden on my mother's family anymore.” Seung Ho let go of his mother's hand and just left Hae Joo alone. His mother looked at Seung Ho sadly.

“eh !! That woman !!” Eun Seung suddenly noticed Seung Ho's mother. At first glance he saw that Hae Joo smiled happily to see the old man began to direct the wood regarding the cafe window. “why is he smiling? Who are they exactly?” Eun Seung kept paying attention to them.

Suddenly Seung Ho grabs the wood in his father's hand. He took it and threw it away from himself.

“finally you came too !!” Jae Suk was very happy when he saw Seung Ho in front of him. He gripped Seung Ho's shirt to sit on the ground. Some of Seung Ho's friends want to run it but are driven away by his mother.

Seung Ho resigned with Jae Suk's attitude. He did not dare to fight his father all this time he did avoid him so as not to deal with his father. Seung Ho followed his father's orders to bend his knees before him.

“I told you to school a lawyer not to be a baker. Now you dare tell your mother to come to your place. You want to boast about showing off your success to us, HAH!!!” Jae Suk is really angry and annoyed at him. Their problems are clearly heard around them. One hard punch landed on Seung Ho's cheek. Some of the people around Seung Ho were surprised, his father beating Seung Ho in front of them. Woo Jae and Jin Hyun approach them, distancing his father from Seung Ho.

“hei let me go !! I'm not done with that kid !!” Shouted Jae Suk thrashing asking to be released.

Some noticed Seung Ho who was still silent, they did not dare to interfere with their problems. Seung Ho stands up while holding his cheek. He felt pain in his jawbone. The man did not care around, Hyu Ri who started approaching him suddenly stopped because of Seung Ho's man. The man needs to be alone. Seung Ho goes into La cafe. Her mother followed her husband away from Seung Ho. He closed the cafe door. He was still calm even though his legs were starting to wobble. His inner being was injured, he was surprised to get a hard slap from his father. Like seven years ago before he decided to quit college and build a La Cafe business. His father beat him up for not following his father's wishes to become a lawyer. Seung Ho started to wobble, his legs couldn't hold back anymore. He was trembling, his whole body feeling the fragility in his heart. He could no longer hold back the anger that was in him.
