Macaroons

Macaroons
33. A reality

Akbar parked his bike in Irfan's yard.

It was getting dark, the atmosphere looked lonely.

Akbar accompanies Laila to meet Irfan's wife.

There was a sense of doubt as Laila was about to knock on the door.

However, what he will do will hurt a woman.

Geck.. Geck...

Laila knocked on the door.

Laila and Akbar waited for a moment until the owner opened the door.

"Good afternoon, brother." Laila and Akbar said to Ayu Irfan's wife.

"Good afternoon. Please come in." Reply Ayu with his friendly character.

"Sorry, brother, if our arrival interrupts." Akbar said after being invited to sit down.

"It's okay. But Mas Irfan hasn't come home yet" Ayu replied

"It's okay." Answer Laila.

"Then I make you some tea, but you guys don't go like yesterday." Ayu.

"Don't bother you, Kaka is carrying so he'll bother to do something." Laila's.

"It's okay. Just make tea for a minute." Ayu forces to keep making tea for Akbar and Laila.

Seeing Ayu's excellent attitude Laila grew even more resentful of Irfan.

How could he have cheated while his wife was so kind.

Ayu also came with a tray containing two cups of tea.

"Please! Sorry just tea." Ayu

"It's okay brother." Laila's.

Laila looked at the boy in Ayu's lap, His face was handsome but he looked inactive like a typical child.

"Smazy boy what's his name?" Laila stroking the cheek of Son Irfan.

"My name is Vano Aunt." Ayu replied with a voice made like a child.

"Oh, his name is Vano. What age is Vano?" Laila asked again.

"Fifth-year-old Aunty." Ayu also answered back.

Laila was a little surprised. Should be a five-year-old child, already good at answering other people's questions.

Ayu also seemed to understand the sense of wonder in Laila's heart.

Laila was silent, her heart seemed claustrophobic, She could only watch a great woman struggling.

"The reason I moved to live in Jakarta was so that I could easily take Vano to a specialist doctor." Ayu continued her conversation.

Laila's chest became increasingly claustrophobic, her mind and heart a clash of instruments.

How can he break the heart of the woman before him, while he is fighting for his baby.

Laila imagined how much Ayu would ruin her life when she said everything.

The boy needed a full family to accompany him.

"La." Akbar reprimanded when he saw Laila daydreaming.

Laila also woke up from her daydream.

"Please drink, I'm sorry to confide in this." Ayu said feeling bad.

"It's okay brother. Maybe God knows that Ayu's sister is such a great person that she leaves a special child like Vano." Laila tried to strengthen.

"I would not be this strong without the help of Mas Irfan, He is the Support System in my life. I'm grateful God gave me such an amazing husband in my life." Ayu.

Like something was scratched in Laila's chest when she heard the words of Irfan's wife.

"The Stoic ones, brother. Sis Ayu and Mas Irfan are great parents." Laila's.

Ayu responded with a smile.

"Maybe the road is jammed so Irfan's a little late. He's usually home at this hour." Ayu

"It's okay, brother, we stopped by here not intending to meet Mas Irfan. We were just coincidentally on this road, and stopped by here. All of you want to say Sorry for yesterday coming home without saying goodbye to Ayu's sister."

"Then we say goodbye, for fear of returning home too late." Laila said goodbye.

Laila decided to abandon her intentions.

"Why hurry once, soon Mas Irfan also come home." Ayu

"It's okay, Ayu, we'll just go home. I'm glad to know Ayu's sister." Laila.

"Yes, I'm also happy, if Irfan's friends want to visit our little house." Ayus.

"Then we'll say goodbye." Akbar said goodbye and came out.

Ayu also escorted to the terrace.

"You pair are compatible. The woman is beautiful, and the man is handsome." Ayu said as Akbar and Laila were wearing their shoes.

"Thank you, sis. Just pray that we get married." Akbar answered.

While Laila saw Akbar through the tip of her eye.

"of course. Don't forget to invite us if you get married" Ayu said before Akbar and Laila left.
