Magic Love
Hiding Something

...***...

After finishing her bathing ritual, Aruna went downstairs to meet Juno who was having breakfast at the dinner table. He was wearing the clothes he was wearing last night. Work suit with black knee-length span skirt combined with fanta-colored long-sleeved shirt. Simple clothes that Aruna often wears. However, there was something different about Aruna's appearance. His long mane was left to decompose just like that. Making both of Juno's eyes continue to steal a glance towards the girl.

"Sit here, Non!" Sarla pulls out an empty chair facing Juno. Then, invite Aruna to sit in the chair. He took an empty plate and filled it with his fried rice. So give it to Aruna. "Take it first, yes, breakfast! Miss needs extra energy because last night passed out," Sarla said.

"Thank you, Bi." Aruna developed a smile. He remembered his late mother who always reminded him of breakfast. For a long time he had never felt that. Probably since he was left by his mother. In his house there was indeed a woman whom he had to call 'mama'. A woman who took her mother's place even before her mother died. He who used to live with his mother had to return to live with his father since his mother died.

Until after graduating High School. He forced his father to allow him to study abroad. He was tired of living with his stepmother. Her stepmother is notoriously kind. Although at first his father refused Aruna's request, but Aruna tried hard by studying hard, so that he could get a scholarship to study in Singapore. Inevitably the papa must allow Aruna to study there, because it is for the future of Aruna.

"Don't daydream, Non! Yuk, eat breakfast first!" Sarla's words make Aruna jerk from her daydream. Juno who saw that also looked at Aruna with a questionable gaze. Both of his eyebrows were tied with furrowed eyebrows. There were a lot of questions in his brain. What really happened to Aruna. He was more convinced, if the woman had experienced something unpleasant.

Aruna took the rice with her spoon, but before putting the rice in her mouth, she remembered something and asked Sarla again. "Oh, yes, Bi. Did Auntie see my hair tie? Or does Aunt have another hair tie? I looked for mine in Juno's room. Maybe Auntie saw?"

"No, Non. Aunty didn't see Miss's hair tie" Sarla replied. The tail of his eyes glanced towards Juno then nodded his head when he saw Juno wink. After that he resigned to retreat to the kitchen with the reason to want to continue the work.

Juno smiled as she stared at Sarla's departure. He felt he had to thank the old woman for cooperating with him. Because actually, he was the one who told Sarla to hide Aruna's hair tie. You should also say that he does not have the same hair. Juno wanted to see Aruna's long hair for longer.

"Why should it be tied, anyway? Kan, nice your hair is unraveled. Pity to know your hair is rolled up like that later he cried, you know." Juno commented with an unreasonable chatter. "And that ...." Juno pointed at Aruna's face, "your madness mending was removed! Not that your eyes aren't myopic" he added.

Aruna frowned. "Don't you know, you! How do you know I'm not myopic? I used to wear these glasses, and I don't like my hair. I'd rather have my hair curled up. Where there is crying hair. She has eyes" said Aruna, as she blicked her lips.

"That looks like a village. I don't know, yet" Juno said, commenting on Aruna's curled hair like a camel hump. "Have you forgotten that I used to go to your house? At that time you did everything without glasses, and you did not hesitate to do it. There I'm sure that you're not myopic," Juno said again as if to dismantle the cover of Aruna.

Aruna was a little confused, feeling confused about what to say about Juno's alibi which is true. "That's my business. You don't have to interfere!" aruna Protest. He put the fried rice in his mouth. He looks nervous.

Silent moment. There was only the sound of the clanking of plates clashing with spoons heard in the room. Until Aruna's first voice was heard opening up the conversation between them. "Oh, yes, Jun. You really didn't see my friends last night? I came to the cafe with them, but after I went to the bathroom and was unconscious. Suddenly I woke up in your room. Didn't anyone fuss last night looking for me, or maybe you just took me home so they didn't know I was home first."

"Which friends are you?" juno asked with a gentle attitude. Eventually, his senses returned and he was no longer jealous.

"My officemates. Maybe you know, 'cause you go to my company a lot, don't you?" reply Aruna.

Juno thought for a moment. Trying to recall the people he often met at the Suryafood company where Aruna worked. Then he shook his head, because last night he did not see their faces.

"I didn't see your friends there. By the time I arrived you had passed out and I immediately brought you home" Juno replied.

Aruna bribed her food slowly while thinking. Why didn't any of them contact him from last night? Even to just ask the news of Aruna who did not return when she said goodbye to the bathroom. "What's wrong with them?" inner Aruna.

"Can I ask you something?" The question succeeded in making Aruna's consciousness return.

"Oh, yes. What do you want?" ask Aruna back.

"I feel if you deliberately look like a village because you want to cover something. Am I right?"

"Ohuk!" Aruna chokes on her food by hearing Juno's question. She immediately gave him a glass of water to drink.

"Your attitude like this makes me even more sure that you are really hiding something" Juno said. Both of his eyes were poking towards Aruna.

"Ehm .. Why do you care about this? This is none of your business. Want me to look like what, what matters has nothing to do with you." Aruna was behaving wrongly. It was impossible for him to explain to Juno if what Juno said was all true. Nor can Aruna say if she deliberately looks ugly so that no man is interested in her. Aruna also limits her closeness to men, as she is the type of woman who hates marriage. Because there is a deep trauma from the marriage of his parents who experienced failure.
