Aruna and Juno continued on their journey. Half an hour drive, there was no chatter between them. Aruna only asked where the road was going when she found the intersection, and Juno said she was just answering questions. It just so happens that the road is not too crowded, so the journey to Juno's house becomes faster.
The car that Aruna was driving was now in the courtyard of the Kingsley family mansion. Aruna was stunned by the grandeur of the house. From there Aruna just realized, if the person she was ushered in this time was a real conglomerate.
"Thank you, yeah!" Juno's words kept Aruna awake. His gaze turned towards Juno being. The man opened the car door and went down from there. Aruna remembered something, she called the man.
"Juno, wait!"
Juno undoes his intention of getting out of the car. He turned his body to face Aruna again. "Why? You still miss me? Still want me to linger here?" juneo made Aruna roll both eyes, lazy.
"Memory card." Aruna held out her hand. Asking for the rights that Juno promised.
"Oh, yes. I forgot." Juno chuckles. He reached into his suit pocket to take the card there.
Aruna's smile expanded with arms floating in hope. However, when the card reached Aruna's hand a little more, Juno's cell phone ringing sound thwarted everything. Juno pulled back her hand that was holding the card. Then look for his phone that sounds noisy. Make Aruna instantly frown. It felt pointless his hand was floating in the air. Empty and getting nothing. How sorry for him!
"Yes, Mi." Juno said to the person behind her phone. From her call, Aruna already knew that Juno was talking to her mother. He lowered his hand and faced forward. Waiting for Juno to finish making the call.
"Now, mommy wants to talk." Aruna was slightly tiptoed when Juno's phone was suddenly in front of her face.
"A similar way to me?" ask Aruna to make sure. Juno nodded.
A little hesitant Aruna grabbed the phone, then stuck it in her ear. "Hello, Auntie," she said to Juno's Ara–mami.
"Aruna, stop by my mom's house first, yeah. Mommy cooks a lot, here. We had dinner together. Wants, right?" pinta Ara across the phone.
Aruna's head turned towards Juno. Both of his eyes glared sharply at the man. He knew that Ara's invitation must be Juno's.
"What's he saying?" june pretended not to know.
Aruna snorted in annoyance. Unwilling to answer Juno's questions which he thinks are drama, he refocuses on his phone calls. "Sorry, Aunt. I gotta go home. Not showering after work" Aruna politely declined. She emphasizes the call 'aunty' to Ara, a sign that she refuses to follow Ara to call her 'mami'.
"Bring here, son! There is plenty of water here. Want, yeah!"
Aruna frowned hearing that. Looks like Juno's forcing trait is a gene derived from her mamm.
"Not so, Auntie. When I shower at people's homes. Not good, that's." Aruna refused again.
"Mommy doesn't want to know, yeah. Mami will tell security to lock the gate. So your car can't get out before we finish dinner."
"Huh? But, Auntie–" Aruna's refusal was not listened to by Ara. The middle-aged woman immediately disconnected their phone call.
Aruna took a deep breath before exhaling it slowly. He gave Juno's phone away in annoyance.
"Why, si?" Juno asked while holding back a laugh. It was funny to see Aruna puffing her cheeks. It looks like a bakpao cake that Juno is eager to bite with anxiety.
"You two are in a conspiracy, huh, guess what I am today? That's so bad, si!" cetus Aruna's.
"Eh? I don't understand. What did mom say?"
Aruna relaxed both of her shoulders. He was tired of all his activities. Added to the drama played by Juno today. Tired is growing. "Mommy you told me to go inside and have dinner with you. Satisfied you?" exciting Aruna.
Juno chuckled while folding her hands in front of her chest. My eyes are on Aruna. "If I were you, I wouldn't think it was a trap. Try it, you think! At first you asked me for help, I kept asking for payment with only me to go home. Then I bought you new clothes, and now my parents take you to dinner. Is that detrimental?"
Aruna was stifled by Juno's words. Both of his eyes blinked looking at Juno in confusion. Also true. Aruna was not harmed in the least. On the contrary, he was greatly benefited today. There was a hint of regret that tickled his conscience, but Aruna was too prestigious to admit it.
"Udah, really. Spots in! I want everything done quickly, so I can go home." After saying that, Aruna got out of her car, then walked ahead of Juno as if she was the owner of the house.
"Eh?" Juno gaped at Aruna's behavior. Then it suddenly awakened and immediately followed Aruna with a smile that expands.
...***...
At around 20:00 AM local time, Aruna arrived at her rented house. The girl threw her body on the living room sofa. Tiredness has taken over his body. For a moment Aruna closed her eyes, recalling what she had done today. Especially when going with Juno. The man was really testing his patience today.
However, there was a glimmer of a smile that Aruna pinned on her tiny lips. When he remembers Juno's silly behavior which is actually very funny according to him.
Aruna never imagined before, if a handsome CEO dreams of all women doing silly just to get attention from him. Aruna was flattered by that. However, when he remembers Kezia who loves Juno and the betrayal of his father to his mother, the smile disappears from the circulation of Aruna's face. His belief in the hypocrisy of love remains the same. To him, love is a lie.
Waitaminute!
Aruna just realized something. Kezia loves Juno. That means he can take revenge on his mother Kezia who has taken his papa. Isn't that nice? Aruna thought so. The evil side of Aruna started to dominate her heart.
"Why am I thinking now? But ...." Aruna pondered. His face looks gloomy too. The long banquet that his mother always threw when he was a child is still always ringing.
'Don't ever hate your dad and his new family, son! Especially committing crimes to avenge them. They're not wrong, Aruna. Mama parted with papa because indeed from before we were not supposed to be together. You are a little girl now, son. One day you will understand everything.'
Aruna sighed every time she remembered her mother's message. "What's wrong? Obviously they betrayed us, Ma," Aruna said to herself. He rubbed his face rough, then sat up and leaned against the back of the sofa. Both eyes looked at the clothes he was wearing. Juno's shadow face immediately attacked again. However, Aruna quickly cast the shadow from her head. He remembered the CCTV footage he had painstakingly obtained from the man.
He immediately grabbed the laptop and pressed the start button. Aruna couldn't wait to see who had raped her that night.
