27.Break Up

"Makima-san, what do you mean??" Denji couldn't believe what he had just heard.

His girlfriend had just made a very surprising confession.

"The person who killed my father was your father" Makima said, recounting his past.

Denji stared at Makima with a look of disbelief. Denji knows that his uncle died from murder, but Denji thinks his uncle died from mafia meddling like his father.

"Makima-san, I don't understand what you're saying" Denji was still trying to refute Makima's words.

"Denji-kun, to be honest I don't want to say this, but don't we promise we won't keep any more secrets?" Makima tries to hold Denji's hand.

But unexpectedly, Denji actually brushed off the hand of Makima who was trying to hold it.

"Denji-kun" Makima also seems to not believe what Denji did.

Makima tells about her past so that there are no more secrets between her and Denji. But it turns out Makima's decision was wrong, Denji who really loved his uncle did not think that the person who killed him was his own father-in-law.

"Makima-san, I really hate the person who killed my uncle" Denji looked at Makima with a blank look.

Makima gasped at the words of her lover. The person Denji was referring to was of course his own father.

"Let's go, Pochita" Denji held Pochita and moved from his seat.

Without inviting Makima, Denji immediately left the cafe. He ignored the red-haired girl who was crying.

Denji does love Makima a lot, but Denji's sense of loss to his uncle hasn't gone away in years. Denji was determined to hate the man who killed his uncle no matter who it was.

"Nee Pochita, I think my dream is my nightmare" Denji told his dog.

Pochita had no reaction, she saw her master quarreling with Makima before her own eyes. Although Pochita is a dog, Pochita can also understand the feelings of a person especially his own master.

For now, Denji really can't think straight. Somehow his anger immediately exploded when he heard the story of his former lover.

Denji can only hold the driver of his car, he can not turn on the car because of the burden of his mind. Will Denji regret his decision to end his relationship with Makima??

Slowly tears began to flow down the blond man's cheeks, either heartbroken by his uncle's death or sorry for having decided on Makima, only Denji knew.

"Damn it, if Aki was here she would have laughed at me by now" Denji muttered in his tears.

"Gru..." Pochita tries to comfort Denji who is crying in his car.

His neck felt suffocated when he remembered he had cursed Makima. Denji also feels his sacrifice to fight Gun Devil is in vain because now he is not with the girl he loves.

"I'm sorry... Makima-san" Denji begins to regret his decision to end his relationship with Makima.

But it's too late, the rice has become porridge, time cannot be repeated. Of course Makima will hate Denji after this.

Unlike Denji who is still crying because he is sorry, Makima has wiped his tears.

The girl in red was sitting alone on the sand of the beach, her gaze blankly heading towards the ocean waves. A cold chill pierced the girl's body.

"Then I'll take Pochita's heart so you and your father can feel what I'm feeling"

Makima continued muttering alone, her empty gaze and the gripping atmosphere of the night made Makima's figure very frightening now.

The red-spirited girl got up from her seat without cleaning the sand stuck to her pants.

"Denji, I will make you suffer" Makima said.

The girl has resolved to avenge her father's death to Denji. The boy who knows nothing of his father's past must be the target of revenge from Makima.

"Please enjoy" Aki serves an order to a customer in her cafe.

The pigtail-haired man was delighted when he saw his little fox joking with a customer.

"Hmm, I should have taken you out more often, Fox" Aki said when she saw her pet playing around.

"Aki Hayakawa, I order a coffee" call a new customer.

Aki also turned to "Bai-... You!!!"

Aki was aghast when she saw who the new customer came to the cafe.

"Hmm?? What was? I just want to drink your coffee" the customer continued.

"Reze!!! Why are you back here?!!" Aki approached Reze who was sitting in his chair with a feeling of anger.

Of course Aki will never forget what this woman did to Denji. Although in the end Reze sided with Denji but still Aki could not forgive him just like that.

"I just want to vacation in Japan, now I live in Switzerland" said Reze when approached by Aki.

Aki did not want to believe just that to the words of the woman in front of her at this moment. According to Aki, the woman's words were full of lies.

But because Reze's current position is a customer, then Aki must still serve him.

"Where's Denji??" Reze asked directly without further ado.

"He's on a date with Makima right now, don't interrupt their relationship or you'll regret it!!!" Threaten Aki to Reze.

While Aki clearly showed her mutant expression to Reze. Aki has not known about Denji and Makima's relationship which has ended now, therefore she told Reze not to disturb Denji and Makima's relationship.

"Is that all you want to talk about?? Just disturb!!" Aki intended to want to get up from her seat to get back to work.

However, before he could get away a voice from a girl managed to stop him "Aki fool!!!"

Aki frowned, she knew who the girl who called her was "Power!!! Quickly say your order!!"

"I want to order a strawberry milkshake one" said Power while throwing his face when he saw Aki who looked at him.

"Good" Aki replied flatly.

The man immediately returned to his cafe to make an order from Power.

While Power looked around to the surrounding table trying to find a seat. Until he finally stopped his gaze at a black haired girl who was staring at him.

Without further ado Power approached the girl "Hey, you?!!"

"You owe me your life, Power-chan" Reze said with a sweet smile.

"Huhoo?!! I never asked you to save me!!" Power tried to refute Reze's remarks.

"You and your redhead friend will die if I don't save you" Reze said.

"Huh, quiet!!"

"Power-chan, sit down with me" Reze offered Power to sit down with him.

"Huh, well" Power complied with Reze's request without further ado.

Actually Power also feels that he and Makima already owe one life to Reze.

"Where's Makima-chan??" Reze asked as Power sat in his chair.

"I don't know" Power replied in a tweet.

"Hmm, he's your best friend why don't you know?" Ask Reze back.

Power was upset to hear Reze's question "friends must know the limits of privacy!! Do you think I'm Makima-chan's nanny??!!"

"Silverfufu... Not really"

A crossroad appeared on Power's forehead when he heard the words from Reze.

"This" Aki came suddenly from behind them and gave the drink to Power.

The surprised Power received the drink with the blushing cheeks of "T-thank-love"

Reze smiled wryly when he saw the moment "Ara, times have changed, I can't believe you two love each other now"

"No!!!" Seru Power and Aki with compact.

Reze giggled at the behavior of the two people, while Aki and Power threw away each other's faces with red cheeks.

"I think you should be dating now, so you two can date Denji and Makima" Reze told Aki and Power.

"That can never happen, Reze-chan" Denji's voice suddenly startled the three people.

"Denji?? I thought you were with Makima" Aki was astonished when she saw Denji moody and took Pochita with her.

"Denji-kun??" Reze was also surprised by Denji's sudden arrival.

"Denji!! Where's Makima-chan?" Exclaimed Power who asked about Makima's whereabouts.

"I... Breaking up with Makima" Denji said like lightning striking during the day.

"Hoe, you're kidding me, right??" Aki could not believe what she had just heard.

"Denji!!! What do you mean break up with Makima-chan!!!" Seru Power's.

"Denji-kun's..." Reze also seemed to be in disbelief at the words Denji had just heard.

Denji was silent when his friends showered him with questions. Seeing that his best friend was not playing games, Aki immediately approached him and hugged the body of his best friend.

"Oe stupid!! Don't you take it alone!! Share your pain with me!!" Aki said as she hugged Denji.

Denji also shed tears when he heard the words of his best friend. He took off the Pochita rope in his hand and returned a hug from Aki "why do you always say like that stupid pigtail!!!"

The moment of the two friends was witnessed directly by all customers at the cafe. Although they do not know what the case is, they all look pity when they see the rare moment.

"Hey, Denji sit here" exclaimed the seated Power.

Denji takes off his arms and starts sitting at a table with Reze and Power. While Aki went back into the cafe to make drinks to Denji.

"Denji-kun, what happened between you and Makima??" Reze immediately asked Denji who was beside him.

"Power" Denji didn't answer Reze's question.

The power that was called immediately said "what is it??"

"Did you know??" Ask Denji back.

"Know what?" Power doesn't understand Denji's intentions.

"He must have told you, to be honest, do you know??" Denji again urges Power to confess.

"Hey Denji!! Say it clearly!!!" Power feels furious because Denji is giving a confusing question.

"His father Makima killed my uncle!!! And my father killed his father!!" Suddenly Denji cried.

Power and Reze are shocked when they hear Denji's words, they do not believe that Denji already knows about his past.

Power gathers his courage to answer Denji's question "yes, I-I know"
